It has been a while since Chris sent me a copy of his book but it came at a right time when I was contemplating my move to a self hosted website (yes it seems a long time ago) and / or stepping up a business for myself. Internet Business Insights is a wealth of information for anyone who is thinking of or has already set up an online business.
Chris has insights from 101 successful entrepreneurs who have made it already in the internet business world. He asked them questions on what works and what doesn't. Sure it gets repetitive over a while, because there are patterns and those patterns are the ones you need to watch out for. Internet Business Insights is not a book that you can read at a stretch, you should do what I did - take it one at a time.
Final thought: Massive number of Q & A about making it in the internet business world
Recommended to: Anyone who has or going to set up an online business.

A must for anyone thinking of getting into it. I would totally recommend it even to intermediates and experts on the subject. You won't really find some technical stuff though (like exact strategies or detail-how-to tactics) but pay attention to all the stories and ideas will come like crazy, you'll feel identified with at least some of the stories in the book.

The authors and marketers of this book were responsible for my first success. I had been struggling for a year or two working hard at trying to make money online when I read one of Chris Naish’s’ books about keywords “Keyword Matrix”. Such an awesome feeling when you go from making £4 per week to making over £50 every day Chris is responsible for this part.
Buck Flogging gave me a chance when he launched his book promotion site - “Buck Books” when he got me nearly 500 kindle sales in one day. Again, this was an awesome feeling and after all of the hard work, these are the breakthrough moments that I will always remember, the moments when the self-doubt that anyone who sets out to make money online will be familiar with becomes a thing of the past.
So when these two authors get together, I am their biggest advocate before I have even read the book. Incidentally, I did purchase the paperback and here are my thoughts –
To sum up the book I will use a quote taken right from it –
“This book is an absolute gold mine of advice”
There are essentially 101 interview answers from 101 different successful entrepreneurs from all kinds of internet businesses. This is a nice touch as your business may mirror or overlap some of these. This means that you can take advice from someone who is doing what you want to do and doing it well.
This is how I would use internet business insights -
As there is a lot of information in this book, it may be easy to become overwhelmed. Chapter four is where I would start. Yes this seems odd but this chapter is a summary of the most common lessons that cropped up in the interviews, I would imagine that most internet businesses would be able to implement each of these 30 lessons.
After reading chapter 4, you will be able to identify these key lessons and see how each entrepreneur has utilised them as you read through the rest of the book.
I believe that this may be the new go to guide for any internet marketer looking for success and it should be the one reference book that has “post it” notes and highlight marks scrawled through it that sits on every internet marketer’s desk.

This book has some very good information in it for anyone wanting to start their own on-line business. Dozens of internet business owners are interviewed about what works and what does not work in building a successful on-line business. And some very clear patterns emerge.
The only down side to this is it can get a little repetitive. But you do see the same or similar answers repeated over and over again. This gives you some pretty clear ideas about what it takes to run a successful internet business. Worth the read.

Great analysis of business cases
The book is concise and the cases are very useful for entrepreneurs. Just the summary section about lessons learned alone adds lots of value to the book.

Definitely not the kind of book you can read cover to cover, but just a little at a time. Helpful advice from entrepreneurs of all backgrounds.
