Cynthia’s dating service is one-of-a-kind. A combination of old-fashioned matchmaking and high-end computer algorithms, she guarantees her matches. However, she needs an infusion of cash to stay afloat long enough to prove her theories work.
No investment firm in town is nibbling, until she meets Aaron and Gavin. They’re willing to give her a shot, on one condition—she has to prove her algorithm works by matching each of them.
Their cocky attitudes and desire to flirt with anyone and everyone make Gavin and Aaron the kind of candidates Cynthia usually turns away without question. But with her business and dream on the line, she’ll make an exception, reminding herself every step of the way there’s a reason she never plugs herself into the algorithm, and she’s not going to make an exception for the men who hold her company’s future in their hands.

DNF at 60%. No spoiler, but I wasn't feeling the characters and I didn't like the drama coming from one of the male characters in the sense that he was making the same mistakes again, apologizing and doing it again. Plus the female characters feels more like a third wheel than a love interest. Maybe all of these things make the relationship more "realistic", but that's not for me.
I am an absolute sucker for mmf books and did not have high expectations starting reading this one. Therefore I will not rate this as, unfortunately, this one wasn't a good one for me.
When reading a book like this the most critical aspect is the connection between that triad, and the second aspect is the sexual chemistry and in here, both were missing.
For Aaron and Gavin to be together for 5 years and be so dysfunctional with no emotional connection and sexual chemistry only sometimes made me lose interest in them, therefore in the book. Adding a third person in this situation equals a cluster fuck and that's a shame cause I really liked Cyn.
To top it all up the storyline and the plot weren't something to be remembered or write home about it.
This story started out great. I loved the banter between the MCs; it was like they had been exchanging one liners all their lives. Then it kind of took a turn that had me worried about where the story was headed. It eventually evened out but that lightness for on the beginning never returned.
Probably a more realistic approach to this type of relationship. But for me there wasn't enough hearts and flowers. The protagonist of this story being Givans addictions and inability to cope from being a child star. Just wasn't something I am interested in. The steam was alright but not nearly detailed enough or "lovey" it was more of one night stand level. 3/5 because the mm mmf was the only interesting parts of this book.
I admit I did enjoy this book. I know a lot of the reviews have been poor but I enjoyed it. Was it a perfect romance novel? No, but it was good.
What I enjoyed about this book was there was an actual storyline. I got invested in the story. The chemistry between the characters was good. I enjoyed seeing the relationship develop and the struggle between keeping things professional yet wanting that connection.
What could have been improved on was character development. We got to know Cynthia and why she was guy shy about romance. We learned why she created her company and what made her tick. We also got a little reference to what happened between her and her best friend. I feel if I had read the first book I would be more enlightened on who Cynthia really was.
As for Aaron and Gavin, I felt we didn't really get to know them. We got a little nibble then everything was ok. I truly felt the author could have delved deeper into these characters to let us in on what made them tick. Why did Aaron feel he needed to protect Gavin? Why did Gavin struggle with his childhood fame? I felt there was more there than the author did not give us.
As for the sex scenes they were hot. I loved the banter between the boys and how it pulled Cynthia in. I felt their relationship as a trio worked.
This is actually hard for me tbh. The characters where not very well developed. The background was vague wich meant the reader can't really emphasize with the current character. On top of that seemed Cynthia like a third wheel. The story would have worked just as well without her. And that's because she does nothing to help the current situation. If I had read this book with the expectation that this was about two man and their struggle of past demons that come back to hunt them and a damaged relationship they want to fix... I would have loved the story. But instead we get a MFM story where the female protagonist isn't even needed. At all. There isn't even a build up for the two man to invite Cynthia into the relationship. It just happens. No mentioning of how they made it work. Cynthia's insecurities aren't addressed either. The males have a great story in the present. With a lot of development and growth for both of them. Sometimes less is more. This is the case here.
Child star Gavin loves his long time boyfriend Aaron and doesn't miss the limelight, especially after all the hullabaloo when the two of them orchestrated the huge IPO of the tech he developed. Now he's itching to get his fingers on a keyboard again, but why are there headlines about him and paparazzi and eager fans everywhere they go? He doesn't want to be dragged back into that toxic world, or does he? Having Cyn as a distraction is wonderful, but is she responsible for pulling Gavin and Aaron apart or is it just his demons that he's never really conquered? How can this triple dynamic work with Cyn as Aaron's client when the professional lines keep getting crossed?
I had to force myself to finish it. Between the useless drama for the sake of it and the bland characters it just didn't pull me in. Scenes between them fell short, it seemed rushed with force, and the interactions were confusing and jarring. The grammatical, spelling and all around lack of editing was a frustration I couldn't ignore. The sexual tension was built up to be something and it fell short each time, I give it 1 pepper out of 10. All over the board it was not a good novel, glad I didn't read the first of the series. Would not recommend.
This is the first book I read by the author and I enjoyed it. The story follows the romance of Gavin, Aaron and Cynthia. Gavin is a kid star who stepped away from the spotlight and the demons to start a tech company with his love Aaron, teen con artists on the Hollywood lots to Venture Capitalist. Cynthia a matchmaker looking for capital and finds much more with Aaron and Gavin. The story follows the ups and downs of the relationship
I wasn't sure what I'd think of this book when I downloaded it for free, the caption caught my curiosity and I wasn't disappointed! This is the first time I've read gay sex scenes, I genuinely didn't know what to expect and.... I loved it! Great storyline intriguing and heartfelt with heated scenes that certainly melted my kindle great job 👌
I will admit that I was a little skeptical going into Cynthia's story due to how her and Emily, but I am glad that they found their way back to one another. Now the men... classic case of codependency right there, but once again things always works out but not with a little turbulence in the ride to get there.
I absolutely loved this book. It's mor than well written and the book is not all about sex and love. In the book the struggles are real and I had so many emotions running through me. I couldn't stop reading this and with all the emotions I didn't get asleep fast so it was a very short night. But so worth it. This book made me want to read more books of Allyson Lindt and neither is disappointing.
Long story short I'm not so much into MM part of manage romances and here we had A LOT of it... too much for my liking... it was decent read but with very limited consideration of the heroine... she was just a f*ck and after 70% of the book with only MM drama she was their love... just like that...
Not my cup of tea even though it was well written and easy to finish.

Ok book. 2.5 stars. There was a lot of drama with Aaron and Gavin. There wasn’t much of a relationship with Cynthia, just 1 hot night. There was some drama with her friend Emily, but the author never really explained what the deal was, just that they made up. It was pretty annoying that it was never discussed like we were supposed to know what happened.
I didn't enjoy reading this and was on the verge of a DNF on several occasions. The writing didn't gel for me and I struggled to connect with the characters or feel invested in their relationships. At times, this didn't even feel like a romance, more a tale of dysfunctional relationships, so it was hard to buy into the HEA at the end.
Cynthia is the main character but Aaron & Gavin stole the show. I loved Aaron & Gavin's relationship and how much they were in sync with each other. They could read the others mind so well and had great sexy banter. Cynthia comes into their lives and fits in like she has been a part of their lives for years. Both Aaron and Gavin are drawn to her instantly and cant get enough of her. Their sexual attraction to each other is intoxicating, I couldn't get enough. I enjoyed reading all three characters POV. Definitely recommend for anyone who likes MMF romances.
The blurb was maybe a third of the book. I was expecting it to be more about fighting off feeling for each other than the business talk and the horrors of alcohol. I enjoyed the first few chapters but then it dragged.
Follow up stand-alone to the Geeks and the CEO. Better this time. Editing and continuity errors annoying. Wish it had more development after the guys got their act together. Seemed like after all the “this is going to take time to rebuild” talk, it would have taken time with her, as well.
Yes there are plenty of steamy M/M and MFM scenes but there is a great story of forgiveness, owning up to your flaws and dealing with them to save the relationship and finding the third person for the triad to be complete.
Free on iBooks. I have read a couple of other books by this author, and they were much more light and fluffy. This book deals with serious themes of addiction and the fame machine. I wasn’t really expecting or looking for the serious turn the book took. Maybe the first in this series is the same tonally, but I haven’t read it.

Good, but I lost interest part way through and pushed myself to pick it back up and finish. They worked well together, I just wished there was more background on my Gavins career was so bad.
I loved it. Just enough tension to make it believable, enough drama to continue the story. The sexual tension between the three was wonderful. I enjoyed the story immensely.
