When other outlining systems failed, C. Michelle Jefferies created her own system. Using the universal seven point story structure and the Master Chapter Outlining system authors can breeze through the process of writing a great story.
Short and brief, but very useful if you know more or less the tools, but you don't manage them very well or don't know them by heart. The book serves as a bullet-point system to check that you are not forgetting anything. I kind of arrived to the same outline method organically, but I still learned a couple of things from this book. Worth checking it out if you are starting and specially if you are in the pre-outline or even outline stage.
Just a quick look through it revealed that it's very basic. Might be of use for people who never wrote anything before, or potentially as a troubleshooting guide when you're editing your drafts, but doesn't really go deep enough into the subject matter to be anything more than that. Disappointing.
