Very different from Amy's story, aside from the IFS set up. The sex scenes are more gritty and there's a lot more violence. In fact, this book had more violence in it than the last book I read that was actually billed as mafia romance, which is not a favorite sub-genre of mine.
Andrew is an interesting guy. Not born into a mob family, he earned his place at the top of an esteemed family and rules it with an iron fist (and an iron maiden, it seems). I liked Bree. She's smart and ambitious and strong. Despite the crappy life she's had of late, she's working hard to get up and get out. She never whined, never gave up, never stopped for a pity party.
Deftly constructed with plenty of sex and suspense, this fast-paced story is worth a look.

A novel worth reading. After a couple chapters into the book all I was thinking was I hope they get whats coming to them. Except for the main character that is. The ending will be whats called poectic justice. And it fits in with the style too. This may be different from the other auction novels, but I loved it! Can't wait for more from this author.
Bree's life has been turned upside down since finding out that her mom had an affair on her husband. Then her FBI boyfriend stole money from her stepdad and they ranaway together, dragging her along with them. Away from being safe and secure in her life. Bree now walks on eggshells around her new dump of a life. Her dream of being an engineer is slowly falling into the drain and its only a matter of time before Andrew finds them. And extracts the money from them in very awful ways. Her only chance of making it out alive is to sell herself to the highest bidder. In hopes that she will have enough to disappear from her current miserable life forever. Only what she doesn't kniw is that she sealed her fate the moment she logged in all her details to Innocenceforsale.com.

This was an exceptional story and one that I enjoyed reading immensely. Bree’s life is suddenly ripped apart and all her dreams with it, so she decides it’s time to look out for herself and do something about it. Andrew is out for revenge on Julia and Antonio because of a personal insult. Bree has always loved Andrew so when he buys her at the auction she cannot believe how lucky she is and in a way heals him too. There are so many twists and turns to this amazing story and some unusual turn of events that makes it a riveting read. This is certainly a book I would have no hesitation in recommending.
Antonio is the personification of everything that has gone wrong in Bree’s life; not only does she hate him, he disgusts her. Her mother, Julia, had given up the perfect husband, the perfect father, while Antonio quickly turned into exactly the kind of degenerate he had often pretended to be in his previous career; all it had taken was the $50 million dollars he had stolen from Andrew to fund their lifestyle. When Bree’s dreams of becoming an engineer are dashed she looks for a way out; if not, she is as dead as her promise. All she needs is to find a way of getting enough money, so she can get out of the witness protection programme and disappear. Why had Julia and Antonio turned the one man she loved into an enemy? Julia and Antonio thought they had enough dirt on Andrew to put him away for the rest of his life, but they were wrong; they are now on the run and he is out for revenge. It is the most personal insult he has ever been forced to endure; his own wife running off with an FBI Agent who was investigating him. When Andrew sees a profile of Bree on the IFS website he cannot believe his luck, or how cooperative Bree turns out to be. Bree has no qualms about divulging the whereabouts of Julia and Antonio and this makes Andrew stop and wonder why. Coming up through the ranks in the Trevisano family, Andrew had made a name for himself by bringing back some of the old fashioned methods of interrogation and intimidation; nevertheless, he isn’t going to send anyone else to do this job. It is far too personal, but he decides to takes Bree along too so she can have some payback. The joy Andrew sees in Bree’s eyes tells him it is from pure love; the kind of look one could spend their whole life searching for and it is all for him. As the two set out on their journey they are thwarted at every turn, not realising just how deep Julia and Antonio’s betrayal really is. However she is taken out of her home by her drug addicted mother to go and live with Antonio, her mother’s slimy lover. Antonio stole fifty million dollars from Bree’s stepfather who is the head of a crime family and has kept Bree and her mother living on the run to escape being caught. After taking Antonio’s abuse for the last time, Bree makes a life changing decision to auction off her virginity on the IFS website to enable her to leave her home and get a new life. As fate would have it, Bree’s stepfather Andrew logs into the site that is showcasing Bree and immediately makes arrangements to purchase her so he can get his revenge against his ex-wife and Antonio.

This read had my blood pumping and my heart pounding along with feelings of being on a roller coaster of a ride. From the first pages when first introduced to Bree who is struggling to get away from her mom and her boyfriend, Antonio who had betrayed her step father, Andrew, when turning him into the FBI. The three of them have been on the run since then from Andrew not only from turning him in but also from stealing from him. Bree had nothing to do with it and now wants to escape so she signs up to sell her virginity so she can get away and start over. Andrew happens to see her profile and immediately buys her, thinking of revenge and retribution for being betrayed by his ex wife and former undercover FBI agent, Antonio.
Wow....I loved this story...all of it...the anticipation of what will happen when she realizes who bought her to how Andrew will react when he finally has her in his grasps. The story did not disappoint and I was very very pleasantly surprised as I didn't expect what the initial outcome was, I thought it would have gone another way as so many other stories have but not this one....thus making this an amazing, wow, double wow, action filled, steamy oh my steamy read and the relationship taboo but so right between them. This is one read that didn't disappoint and a read with plenty of good unexpected surprises and the many lengths they go to protecting each other, making their HEA that much more.

Ok! Not what I was expecting. This book is defiantly out of the norm for virgin sex books. In this book Bree is stuck with her mother and loser boyfriend. They are running from the mob because Antonio, moms bo, stole 50 million dollars from Bree's stepfather Andrew. Antonio is a piece of work. He beats on Bree and they all live in a dirty roach infested home. Bree wants out and bad, so she puts her virginity up for sale on Innocenceforsale.com.
Andrew is pissed. His wife took off and left him with one of his crew. Not only that but she stole his money. All Andrew wants is revenge. So when he logs in to the Innocnceforsale.com looking for a virgin to sleep with he sees Bree. His missing stepdaughter has her virginity up for sale. Hmmmm...then the plan forms.
This book was a quick read and had a very different approach than I was expecting. The story seemed a little short, but very intriguing. It is full of action and thrills. Which I love! It captivates you, drawing you in and holding you tight. The characters were interesting and intense. I am still on the fence about the step father going after the virginity of the step daughter. The book doesn't really go into the ages of the characters, so it was hard to imagine the scenario. Overall I say this book was good.

Simply amazing. 5 stars. This is a story of second chances. Bree is living a nightmare. Her mom is an addict who only cares about her next hit. And the ex-FBI agent they are living with. Antonio is a monster. He is abusive and Bree hates him. Her mom Julia used to be married to Andrew the head of the Trevisano crime family. They had an amazing life with a man who truly took care of them and they had everything they could possibly want. Until Antonio and Julia stole $50 million from Andrew and went on the run committing the ultimate betrayal. Andrew is out for revenge and no one is safe. Bree's dream of becoming an engineer and getting away from the abuse. This is a chance at freedom and getting out of witness protection. However, after receiving her grades, she is devastated. Feeling totally helpless, she decides to place her virginity up for auction on the IFS website. Imagine Andrew's shock when he sees Bree's profile on the Innocence for Sale website. This is the perfect chance to get his money back and exact his revenge. This book has everything- romance, steamy scenes, suspense and even a bit of humor. It kept me reading late into the night. Bree and Andrew are both very strong characters and had an amazing connection. The chemistry was off the charts hot!!!!! The ending could not have better-simply perfect!

A well-written darker romance which is FULL OF ACTION!
I had to give Ada Scott’s new IFS (Innocence For Sale Series) novel 5 stars because it is so unique. If you like non-stop action, steamy scenes, a strong heroine and unexpected amorous ties; then Innocence for Sale: Bree is the book for you! There is no time for the self-centered angst of the main characters which is too typical in the indie romance novel. Instead, Ada Scott has mastered the writing game and her newest offering is a fast-passed, page-turner that is a MUST READ. However, be forewarned, the novel deals with some dark subjects; including physical and emotional abuse, selling sexual availability, and the abuse of power by governmental employees. She even deals with the age-old question of when is a bad guy the good guy? While the anti-hero, hero in a romance novel is nothing new, the way in which author Scott approaches the characterization and arrives at the happy ending, truly is unique. I am submitting this honest, voluntary review as a result of reading an ARC copy, but be assured that I will be purchasing my copy as soon as the book is released! I strongly suggest you do the same, right now. Happy pages! 😉

An older man, young woman book that is so delicious you will not be able to stop reading! Andrew used to be Bree’s step-dad. However, her mom divorced him and Bree had to move from the only home she ever knew. The big deal about this? Her mom and new boyfriend; an ex-FBI agent, stole a whole lot of money from Andrew and he wants them dead. Does this include wanting Bree dead as well?
Bree has been in hiding with her mom and boyfriend jumping from place to place. She is tired of moving around and not being able to follow her dreams of being and engineer. Bree signs herself up for an auction to sell her virginity to the highest bidder. She has no idea who that will be. Oh boy is she surprised when she finds out the amount the person paid, along with who the person actually is.
Andrew and Bree take part in a wild ride to get what was stolen from Andrew in the first place. They get to know one another and find out things they never knew. Which made them fall in love even more. This book is a sweet and sexy read with suspense, action and lots of hot loving going on. Learn how protective Bree and Andrew become with one another and how strong that love is what they do to sacrifice and protect one another. This book will not disappoint you!

This is a first read by this author for me but won't be the last. I volunteered to read this book to review and I am so glad I did.
From start to finish the story captured my attention. It's full of drama, adventure and we can't forget the reason for the book the IFS. I wasn't sure if this was one of those books where the storyline was over done but it wasn't. I feel in love with Bree's character.
Andrew took mafia to a whole new level for me. He was once the step father to Bree and her first real crush. But her mom changed all that when she turned on him and left with Antonio. Can you really despise someone as deeply as I do Bree's mom? The things this women has done and allowed to be done is disgusting. Oops! Sorry ranting here. Back to the story. In order to escape this life Bree joins IFS and this is where things get interesting.
I won't share anymore. I wouldn't want to ruin the book for you. Let's just say from this point out things move more quickly. Action, adventure and yes heat will move you along to the very end.

DNF at 40%
I enjoyed the first book in this series but left it a while before trying this one.
After reading the blurb, I was eager to give this book a go. It had the makings of a great read. I love forbidden romance type books. Unfortunately the author just didn’t do it justice this time around.
So much was missing from this. I wanted to know more about the relationship between Andrew and Bree before she and her mother left and when he came into her life and what happened to her father. Maybe this was all explained later on but I just lost interest in the book before ever getting that far.
I felt like the explanation of how Bree was living considering the millions that was taken to be hard to believe, and also the relationship between Andrew and Bree progressing so quickly considering there were so many obstacles between them. There could have been so much more to this.
I may try the third book because I did enjoy the first so we’ll see how that one goes.

This book was not what I thought it was going to be! This is a hang-on-to-the-edge-of-your-seat ride! Bree is a strong, smart young woman in a terrible home situation & decides to auction her innocence for $1M. Andrew is her former stepdad, and a crime lord. He has been looking for his ex-wife, her new lover, and his stolen money for the last couple of years. Andrew is also the man who bought his stepdaughter's innocence for revenge. This book was a hot mess of sexy taboo, modern takes on medieval torture, hunting and shooting action, and a family reunion that is not at all fun. Full of action and adventure, love and revenge, this book is must read for those who like a busy storyline, alpha men and courageous women who stand by their guys.

Bree's mom and her boyfriend dragged Bree with them into the witness protection program and away from the only person she ever loved. All Bree has dreamed about is being an engineer but when that seems like it not going to happen she decides to sell her innocence instead. Andrew is a crime boss and he has been looking for Julia, and Antonio since they testified against him. Luck had him finding Bree through a website selling her innocence. High octane ride
Other mafia themed books that I've read, have had the male lead wanting to get out of the mafia. Now, that's admirable. Crime is bad. But I love fiction for a reason. In this book, the 'hero' was unapologetically bad boy mafia till the end. If violence bugs you, don't read it. Otherwise, you're in for a wild ride (and Cammy certainly helps out). This book was also a little more taboo than just falling for the mafia Don. This also had a teen (18+) girl, Bred, falling for her ex-stepfather, Andrew. Again, if things like that bug you, don't read it; otherwise, you're in for a delicious read. And you might even appreciate cars more by the end of the book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book, and I borrowed it through the Kindle Unlimited program too.

Wow! It's been a while since I've read anything by Ada Scott. This book showed me that I'm really missing out! I've missed reading her works. I wasn't disappointed with this story either. I loved the plot even though it was predictable and has been done a lot in the past. The story-line flowed smoothly throughout. The characters were well-developed and easily relatable. I was a little disappointed with the romance portion of the story. There was lots of action; however, little romance between Bree and Andrew. I wanted to see a little more happen between them.

I liked this book and story line. I appreciate Bree and the fact she wants to take her life back. I'm not sure if I agree with how she is doing it, but that's my problem. Teehee! This is like a very taboo story. Selling ones virginity and an ex stepfather combined in one. Andrew is very unlikable at the start but he did redeem himself. I liked that he started with revenge on the brain and then opened his heart. I liked Bree and Andrew together in my opinion they are hot. There is some action that I did not see coming, so good for Ada Scott for surprising me. I liked this book, but not sure it is for everyone. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

This is a great mafia romance with lots of fast paced action. Andrew is the crime lord and he's been looking for Bree's mother and the FBI agent who stole millions from him. They were on the run in a witness protection program. Bree was with them until she managed to break away from them. In an effort to get money for school and living expenses she put her virginity up for sale. Andrew bids on her and wins her. A story of revenge and betrayal and some real hot sexy scenes. ell written with great characters. I voluntarily chose to review this book after reading an advance copy.

Hot and Dirty... Received an ARC copy of InnocenceForSale.com/Bree from the author for an honest review. Ada, you dirty girl! This is an extremely HOT forbidden romance between stepfather and stepdaughter. If you are looking for an over the top romance, you have found your next read. This book is full of nonstop action, twists, turns, revenge, deceit and downright dirty, well you know... This was a fun read and I thoroughly enjoyed The question needs to be asked, who exactly runs InnocenceForSale.com? Who is this Ada person, coincidence??? Looking forward to the next book!

Definitely a steamy read! Loved the technical forbiddenness of this book. Andrew definitely proved he was more than just the mobster who was first introduced. Bree was a lot stronger than most would have thought. Would have loved to know if they ever ran into her mom again and the fall out from the "war". Good read!

Ada Scott is a new author to me. This story is a dark, action packed, hot and sexy book with a strong female character that makes it that much better. This is a well written book, with characters that you will either love or hate. Be prepared for emotional and physical abuse, people using their power over others and the selling of people. Some may not like books like this, so I feel it's only fair to warn you those are matters that will appear within this story. It's really a good read and one that I will purchase myself. Enjoy.

Well written story with a predictable plot. But I liked the story line and despite of the predictability also the plot. I like that the story is written in dual POV which gives the reader a better angle of the thoughts and feelings of both main characters. The story line flowed well and is captivating. In this story the characters are well described and developed. They almost feel realistic because of the use of words. The story has lots of action, drama, lust and passion. It lack a bit romance for my liking.

What an intense read! Bree and Andrew aren't the match they we'd expect, but they work so well together. Bree finally escapes her life and gets the revenge she's been wishing for, but at what cost? Andrew never expected to fall in love with Bree, but after everything they've been through together, that's what happened. She's definitely his missing piece, but can he give her the life she deserves? I cannot wait to see what this author has in store in the future. There is Bree who has been on the run for what her Mom did, and puts her virginity up for sale. Then there is Andrew who is a crime boss out for revenge. This is not a erotic romance but a dark story of betrayal and revenge with a bit of adventure thrown in the mix. There is lots of action and emotions. At times it made me laugh which was great along with the steamy love scenes. This book definitely keeps you reading.

This story is crazy good and packed with everything I love in a good book. It's dark, suspenseful, the mafia of course, action packed, with a hot older man and a beautiful younger woman. Their chemistry is electric with steamy scenes that left me fanning myself and turning down the AC. Definitely hold on for this ride. I know you'll love it to very end just like I did. Ada Scott has made my auto buy list! This book was a raunchy, with a side of taboo, fun read. I was cheering for Bree and Andrew the whole way through. Ada made me want to be Bree! Got hooked from the beginning and just had to keep reading all the way through. Couldn't put it down. I'm gonna be dragging at work come morning but it was so worth it! Thanks Ada!

I'm reading through the oldest books on my Kindle so the next few reviews will be books purchased prior to 2019.
This book was more up my alley than Book 1. There were spots where a proof reader was needed, but overall it was well written and the story line, while the standard for the trope, did have enough meat to it that I enjoyed it. Hot and steamy, interesting H and h. Not a story I would read twice, but once was all right.

An action packed older man/younger woman romance story filled with danger, suspense, revenge, the mafia, violence, simmering attraction, lust, steamy scenes, and so much more. This is one story that once you start reading it, you won't be able to put it down.
