July 30, 2025"WordPress For Beginners 2022" is a simple, step-by-step guide for anyone looking to set up their first WordPress site. The visuals and instructions make it super beginner-friendly. I was able to launch my blog quickly, and the guidance on choosing the right hosting provider was especially useful.
I personally used UniqueStar Host for my domain and hosting — it's affordable and beginner-friendly, just like the book recommends.
The bonus Facebook group and the crash course add extra value. I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone starting their blogging journey.

Wordpress for Beginners by Cyrus Jackson is primarily fluff and self promotion. He opens with self promotion, promoting all his other books and ends his book the same way, promoting his other books and his services as a web designer. There is some good information in the book but all of that meat could have been provided in a dozen pages. Not a book that I will be keeping in my Ebook library for future reading.

Rest of the book is about godaddy promotion. It teaches you far less than what you can find on wordpress.com site.
If you can’t read what is there- reading the pages on this eBook won’t add anything either. Quite possible that the courses and programs that he advertises carry some value, but this book is nothing than a self-promotion or free catalog in the mailbox.
