Book Name: Algorithm Of The Future
Author Name: Sandeep Sharma
Format: Paperback
No of Pages- 177
Publisher: Author Paradise Publishers (2017)
Blurb: Who knew that a simple plane crash in China would result in such a big conspiracy; and later on connoisseurs of three fields would write the future of the world?
Rakesh Sharma: The youngest Mathematician of the world claims to predict the future using the ultimate power known as Mathematics.
Aakash Singh Rathore: The greatest Magician and Hypnotist is ready to rule the World.
Rahul: A master in disguise. What will happen when Mathematics, Magic and science will fight to decide the future of the world?
Will Rakesh be able to save his family from the fate that he himself predicted? How far would a man go to save his family?

Cover: The front cover of the book is eye catching and of course tempting to look at. Indeed a good job done by Pixel R8 Studios.
Title: The title of the book is no doubt unique and thought provoking I must say. It is appropriate as per the substance of the book.
Language & narration: The language is lucid and simple enough to comprehend for any kind of readers. Words are ornamented at some place quite maturely indeed. The narrating style of the author is well and gripping that can make any reader hooked with the book. I was literally completed the book in just one sitting and that’s only because of the mature and tight grip of the story that comes from the fast pace narration of the book. When the point comes into thrill, salute to the author for this. I have not found a single place where any lack of thrill can be pointed out and every chapter ended in such a way that will tempt the reader to start the next chapter instantly. Descriptions are also with no exaggeration.
Plot: The plot has been crafted very captivating way and quite healthy amount of twists and turns intertwined along with thrilling elements present; because of this high class thoughtful and mysterious plot (in the aspect of predicting the future and the various kinds of consequences to be faced for that), the book has been turned out to be an interesting quick read I must say.
Setting: The setting of the story is mainly Delhi and other located places around the city. It covers Manchester- England once and later a glimpse of Mathura too.
Characterization: The characterization is well portrayed and maintained till the end. All the characters are justified to their respective roles. The story covers the journey of 3 main characters (including the protagonist) and all of them have a specialty that made them unique and the most important among all. Beside these three main characters (Rakesh Sharma –the youngest greatest Mathematician of the World, Aakash Singh Rathore –the greatest Magician or God Of Magic & Hypnotist, Rahul Sharma –super talented scientist & master in the World of Science and Technology), there are some other major and minor characters are present which are equally in making the story a compact read and they are- Aparna, Vidita, Li Yang, Harshit Dwivedi, Vinay Rathore, Richard Green, Rajat Verma, *Simon Laplace, Sudha, Abhay Rana, Avinash, Vivek, Sanjay Singh Rathore, Salil Singh Rathore, Ashish Singh Rathore, Sarita, Officer Kedar, Officer Nikhil, Officer Sushant, Mishraji, Mrs. Varsha Varshney, Manpreet Singh.
Theme: Suspense, mystery, fantasy thriller, Sci-fi thriller (with coating of patriotic touch and deep family bonding & friendship).
Story in a nutshell: Rakesh Sharma was a boy who actually loved to breathe Mathematics since his childhood. Yes, mathematics was not just a subject to study or passion for him; it was like oxygen for him. He was blessed with the magical mind of solving and doing extra ordinary things by Mathematics and this led him to his journey of becoming the youngest Mathematician of the World. But it was just the beginning because this youngest Mathematician was born with the fate of becoming the greatest Mathematician of the world by extracting out something unbelievable and extra ordinary thing from his got gifted brain. Later, with sheer research & effort of 6 years, (being inspired by the statement of the Mathematician Pierre-Simon Laplace), Rakesh came up with his magical theory and technique and explored the fact to the world that by the help of patterns, calculations of equations and algorithms, he can predict the future.. (and it was proven that his prediction never fails)..Within no time, he proved his ability & technique true & fruitful in front of everybody and soon he was on the top of fame, limelight, attention & everything. People became crazy to have their ‘The Prediction Man’ with themselves. But this attention was not limited to his fans only…One mail of one day, became the key point of changing his fate overnight. One “unknown identity” kidnapped Rakesh’s family (wife Aparna & daughter Vidita) & challenged Rakesh. Though Rakesh succeeded to save his family that time (with the help of the extremely talented master in technology and his childhood friend as well, named Rahul Sharma), but bigger threat was awaiting Rakesh after that. Rakesh got to know the “unknown identity” was none other than Aakash Singh Rathore who was once upon a time tremendously popular and famous for his unbelievable magic skills and hypnotism. He was known as the legend and the greatest magician & hypnotist of the earth (the God of Magic). But after a time, he was nowhere in the scene for 7 long years.. And suddenly, he is back with this time, with dangerous intentions. He met Rakesh and offered him a deal and according to the deal, it was clear that Aakash wanted to spread terror in life of people out there by following the path of terrorism. And if Rakesh agreed to that deal, he and his family will be in comfort and safe zone but many lives will be put to stake and if Rakesh doesn’t then, he will have to lose his entire family along with the lives of many other innocent people. The fate of the existence of people living the world was in his hands and depending to his decision… What will he do? Which path will he choose to walk? Will he agreed to Aakash and put everyone’s life in danger? Or as he predicted already, he will have to lose his closed ones? What was the reason that the greatest magician of the world had gone for hibernation from the world for 7 years and now why he returned and that too as a terrorist? What was the behind story? What happened after that? Will Rakesh be able to save the lives of so many innocent people along with his own family? The greatest mathematician who can predict the future, can also change that..right? or..he can’t? To know the rest of the story and to get your answers, grab your hold on this book and go through it by yourself.
My Verdict: Author Sandeep Sharma has done a terrific job by penning down the thrilling tale that I felt in goosebumps many a time. The mystery got deeper with every chapter and the unique thought of predicting the future with using the techniques of patterns and equation of mathematics is not only just unique by idea but an extra ordinary vision needed for this and Sandeep Sir portrayed the same aptly through the character of Rakesh. Aakash Singh Rathore has different shades in his characteristics that help us to learn and face many facts that our society can’t deny. If we go into depth, of course we have to admit that some ‘system’ needs to be changed because, everyone’s life has its own value and we can’t risk any for whatever the cause is. Rahul proved the real meaning of friendship and also showed us the fact that technology and brain (if used or utilized properly in right way with noble cause) can do the utmost help to nation & mankind. The dilemma & struggle of Rakhesh and love for his family, the ultimate sacrifice of Rahul and the constant support of Abhay (Abhay Rana)- everything has been portrayed crystal by the Author. Sandeep Sir left me speechless by his writing skills once again.
Drawbacks: Drawbacks in the sense I haven’t found any but one thing I can say that there are a few places that contain ‘f’ words while conversation, and I am not that much used to with this kind of words, so it made me a bit uncomfortable, but I know that it’s natural and been used quite frequently everywhere. So it’s ok. We can ignore this part. Except this, there are not a single major or minor drawback I have seen.
Recommendation: I would surely love to recommend this book to every thriller lover, mystery lover, Sci-fi enthusiast or fictional thriller readers. It is much worthy read and a sure shot for booklovers I can say.
Rating (Overall): 5/5 Stars.

I would like to start the review with an apology to the author for shelving the book for six months and hats off to his immense patience. This has not influenced my reviews whatsoever. Fantasy is a tricky genre. It either mesmerizes the readers or bores them to death. There is no midway between these two scenarios. Algorithm of future lies in the former category.

Rakesh is a wizard in mathematics. The extra ordinary talent that he showed him in the subject made him the youngest mathematician in the world. Since then there was no looking back. Now he has come up with the most unbelievable theory ' Algorithm of future', through which he claims to predict the future with the help of Mathematical equations. With the support of his wife Aparna and daughter Vidita Rakesh sets out to tell the world about this unique talent. Little did he know that this boon might turn into a cruse that will change his life irreversibly. Along with the journey of Rakesh readers get to know the other two protagonists Akash Singh Rathore and Rahul. The former a magician and the latter a techy. More cannot be said about the characters since it might end up as a spolier.

The suspense elements are plenty and hence the major highlight of the book. Who is Akash Singh Rathore? What is the persona of Rahul? What is the connection of a flight crash with Rakesh's life? What is the geopolitical relevance of the book?

A lot can be speculated from the blurb and hence the suspense element remains afresh. The plot begins in a promising note, sure to hook the readers to the book. The narration is fast paced and hence never lagging. The incidents happen one after the other so fast that the curiosity compels us to go on and on with the book. Imagination is the key point in a fantasy book but it should be convincing. Author has succeeded in creating a conviction about his theory of fantasizing.

A little more detail could have been added about how Rakesh calculates the algorithm. The novelty of the subject is debatable. While the idea of predicting the future with mathematics sounds unique, the further development of the plot follows the formula of any other fantasy thriller. A round of proof reading was needed but we cannot blame the author for the same.

Overall the book is a fast paced easy read for the light fantasy thriller lovers.

Rakesh is a mathematician, whose extra ordinary talent made him the youngest mathematician in the world. While Rakesh wants to prove his new algorithm to predict the future using mathematics, he fails in an international conference. Inspired by his wife, Aparna, he comes out to prove his theory which he calls it as “Algorithm of the Future”. With his extraordinary talent he predicts a lot of things and in no time becomes famous for his prefect predictions.
Even before he could shot to fame, he gets a threat from Akash Singh Rathore, a famed but a banished Magician. Akash wants to rule the world and for which he seeks Rakesh’s help, under the threat to destroy his family if Rakesh denies to help him. Caught in the trap, Rakesh seeks help from his old friend Rahul, who happens to be a brilliant technical person. Able to save his family from the kidnap, Rakesh feels happy but only to realize that his happiness has actually invited more troubles.
Caught in some twists of life, Rakesh is set to save his family and also the country with the help of RAW team members. The reader is set on the uphill drive, with twists and turns which sometimes seem predictable but then go unpredictable.
The story and the concept are unique in its own way, thou the reader feels, towards the middle of the book that the story is done, there comes a turn again. On the whole the books is a thriller to read.
The plot has its ups and downs, at times the pace slows and at times there are some disconnects, a few mismatches yet they don’t impact the flow of the story so much. Overall this is good read with some suspense and thriller.
A good read and appreciate the plot of the author.

A book with a lot of potential in it but is let down by numerous grammatical mistakes and incomplete parts at times.

The second part of the story is good but the first part is weak. Also there's no explanation to the use of algorithms in the book used to catch the criminals.

The book is good in parts and a lot of things have been left unexplained or are too sudden.

It can be fine tuned more in order to get the readers attention.

Those who missed reading this exceptionally fast thriller fiction back in 2013 when it was first published in 2013, can rejoice since the second imprint is published now with an attractive cover that very much complements this story.

The story revolves around a mathematician named Rakesh Sharma who devices an algorithm to predict the future. Even before he could shot to fame, he gets a threat from Akash Singh Rathore, a famed but a banished Magician. He could not believe any one since he gets deceived by few and gets help from Rahul but it did not last long.

Akash takes Rakesh's family into his custody and wanted to something unimaginable. Did Rakesh with the help of algorithm managed to stop the calamity? What did Akash wanted in the first place?

The story even though runs about 174 pages would make you feel really on the tip of your chair with its fast paced events and incidents and when some of he secrets gets revealed in the end, you will be shocked for sure. A perfect story to spend your otherwise boring weekend. I would recommend a cup of coffee/chai with some chats to enjoy this story.
