My mom attended Hollywood High school with Joe. He dated Judy Turner (not yet Lana). My mom had a Spanish Class with Judy. LET ME DISPEL THE RUMOR ONCE AND FOR ALL: JUDY WAS NOT, REPEAT, NOT DISCOVERED AT SCHWAB'S PHARMACY ACROSS THE STREET FROM HOLLYWOOD HIGH. TRUE, THE KIDS WENT THERE AFTER SCHOOL FOR SODAS. Judy's mom was a seamstress at MGM and lobbied her co workers and higher ups to notice her daughter. Her scheme worked. She was quite the stage mother.
