About the author

‘Manisha Gupta, a teacher-turned-author, ventured into the writers’ domain in 2007, with her first book, ‘The High School Backbenchers – a lyrical memoir’, inspired by her students. She continued her journey as a writer and published two other books – ‘Prodigy of Errors’- a novel in literary fiction, in 2013, and ‘For Dogsssake!!!- a novella in 2015
With more than two decades of teaching experience and a lifelong enthusiasm for writing and travelling, her writings are a stimulating blend of unconventional themes and compelling protagonists. Her upcoming novel Joe’s RePUBlic – the legacy of an idler’, is a prime example in this aspect. She has been participating in the ‘Times Of India Write India Short Story Contest and Penguin literary Festivals.
