*New and Updated version, September 2020: Now with extra tips on the leadership principles, technical interviews and bonus resources!* While we cannot predict every question that Amazon will ask in an interview, the process is fairly structured. This makes the interview process transparent and easy to prepare for because we know many of the themes they will cover and questions they will ask. Imagine if your teacher in university told you most of the questions that were going to be on the test beforehand - all you would have to do is practice. Consider this book your study guide. As a result of this structured interview process, many job seekers who do poorly in interviews simply do not spend enough time preparing. And often, the ones who do spend time preparing do not spend enough time focusing on the right things. Great quality information, help with my interview. Almost everything happened as described in this book, I strongly recommend this book if you are applying to Amazon.
This book really helped me in understanding how these big techs hire and what are they looking for. Hiring the right candidate is equally challenging to get hired.
Too soon to tell if I have gotten an offer yet but I can tell you one thing - I was OVERLY prepared for my virtual loop interviews and had no problem answering every question completely. Well worth the time and money. Thank you!
Not a fan of the book. I compared the advice of the book with a friend who works there and was told there are a few items in the book that will be a red flag in an interview and prevent someone from moving forward in the process. Better to be yourself and if you fit into the Amazon culture, you will get the job, if not, better off searching elsewhere.
I read the book because it is free under one month of Kindle unlimited trial. It is pretty informative. Though I suspect readers could find similar information in online articles.
