Khaos Eden makes up one half of the Eden brothers… the half that does whatever the hell it wants and has absolutely no regard for what happens to anyone else. Besides his older brother, he has no attachment to anyone. So when he finds himself and a marriage to a woman he's never met the only thing standing between his brother and a bullet, the obvious choice is to suck it up and deal with it. After all, it's his fault his brother's life is even put on the line. He was the one who murdered the only son of one of the most dangerous men in the game. He finds himself engaged to that same man's younger daughter in some ploy to make everything right again and somewhere between dealing with his father who likes women half his age, his new wife's bitter ex-boyfriend and a mother constantly digging in to his illegal affairs Khaos finds himself losing pieces of himself. The one cure? A woman as crazy as he is.
Saiyr Hanje is good at a lot of things. She's good at collecting money, arranging drops and most importantly killing anyone who crosses her. Something she isn't good at? Taking orders. That's why when her father walks in to her room announcing her engagement to a rival drug dealer she has more than a few issues falling in line… until she meets Khaos who, since she's been sheltered from any sort of real relationships, looks like everything she's always wanted dressed in a designer suit. But nothing worth having comes easy and Saiyr soon finds herself struggling to keep up with Khaos, fend off his father's advances, conceive a child to take over their empire and wash away the memory of the one boyfriend she's ever had. When she finds out the one man she's ever truly loved is the same person that took away the only family member that ever cared about her, she's faced with the hardest decision of her life… standing beside her mission, arranged marriage and newfound husband, or avenging her brother and killing the same man that, without her knowledge, gave her a new reason to live.
This was a very enjoyable story to read! The pace was really good! I was sooo happy that the author didn't feel the need to have two or three parts to this!!!
Really great read from beginning to the end and I enjoyed every page. Loved the arranged married storyline and plot and it moved at a steady pace. These characters were crazy as well as entertaining and interesting. Full of action, drama, lies, secrets and suspense. Loved the chemistry between Kahos and Saiyr, both was crazy and fit well together....balanced each other out. Both of their families were so dysfunctional and then some. Would have love to have more insight into the parents background and more on how Shy and Ice relationship came to be. Seemed somewhat rushed but didn't take away from the story. So glad that Truce got exactly what he deserved. Would love to catch with the characters later on , cause I know those girls are going to be something else with the parents they have. Job well done M.L. Bash
First book I read by m.l. Bash and I must say you did an amazing job and I can't wait to read more of her work. Saiyir and khaos both had a dysfunctional family. I loved their relationship and they were both crazy as I don't know what. They were the perfect fit. Truce low down dirty butt got exactly what he deserved! This is most def a must read!
Great book page turner from the beginning i couldn’t put it down i love me some Sayir and Khaos his name fit him the the t. Ice was such a silent killer those the ones you watch out for but overrall this was a great book i love M.L Bash books can’t wait to read what’s next
This book was good..had a couple of errors but didn't cause a issue... It was good from beginning to the end...first time reading this author but wouldn't be the last...I love the relationship between the brother n the cousins...I really enjoyed this standalone.. Great job!!!
This story had everything in it. Murder lies deceit betrayal love. Khaos and Ice mannnnn true definition of I am my brothers keeper. Carmen and Stone were a mess. Sayir parents were a mess too. I love how they got together and Khaos changed for her. Truce was a messsssss. Awesome story.
This is my first time trying this author. This was a great standalone. I loved how the author grabs the readers attention from the start and never lets it go. I dislike that it ended so fast..lol. I would recommend this book to all my fellow readers. I rated this book five stars because it was good and perfect. Awesome job!!
This was so good! Even more so that it was a standalone. Love the arranged marriage story line. Khaos, Ice, Shy and Saiyr are a lethal team. 1-click and enjoy the laughs, mayhem and drama.
I liked that this wasn't your typical "arranged marriage" storyline. While I liked that it was a standalone, I wish we could have gotten a little more background on her parents relationship. Hopefully, there's. Book two with Ice and Shy.
Honestly great read. I can truly say one of my best reads thus far. Khaos I loved his attitude and Saiyr tamed him. Both set of parents were off. Ice and Shy would have love to know more about them.
Khaos wasn't suppose to fall in love but he did. Sayir tried to be tough and fell head first. Both of their parents were the absolute worse. Every obstacle they faced they overcame.
This was a action packed story. It will hold your interest and have you wanting more. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good urban fiction to read.
I loved storyline. Those parents though. Its crazy how they all treated their kids like workers. This was a great read. And I recommend it anyone looking for a standalone.
There was drama on top of action with some love thrown in! Saiyr was the truth and I loved her and Khaos together. But my real bae was Ice.. I loved how smooth he was and his name is everything! Great read and I highly recommend it to readers!!!
