I'm the author of more than forty books, including my successful Pony-Mad Princess series. I write for adults as well as children. and many of my books have been translated into other languages. My Amy Wild - Animal Talker series is popular in Japan, and the Japanese editions look fantastic.
I've always been pony-mad so it's not surprising that my favourite animals feature in many of my books. I even used my research for "There Must Be Horses" as an excuse to buy the horse I had always dreamed of owning. He's a Haflinger so he's a palomino who gets fat really easily.
I've recently started writing books to help other writers. "Plots and Plotting: how to create stories that work" has just been published, and I'm currently working on a sequel called "Scenes and Sentences". I'm also in the process of writing two more Amy Wild books so I'm very busy at the moment.
I love that the way the author has written in such a way, that is fun and hilarious. even it talks about the timeline who had written in code, what has been written in code and it also teaches how to write in code. even it gives tips and techniques to write codes. the moment I saw the book I thought "It is just an ordinary book like every other book!" .. Suprise....But no, the book has proved me wrong. That's why they say Don't judge a book by it's cover . I honestly agree with it . I only use code to communicate with my friend's . I recommend this book very much.
Im definitely not in age to be the target audience for this book, but I know my way around some of the facts in it and im pleasantly surprised. It offers easy to digest explanations for kids, engage them in playfull decyphering during the course of reading. Sadly not everything can be translated with ease and some of the jokes are very dry.
For all codes fans out there, this book is very interesting. There are illustration everywhere. As a big fan of mystery and non-fiction genres, this book is made for me, haha.
Let me first say how amazing this book is. THis bvook basically shows people how to crack codes. Although I am not sure you would ever bump into a situation where you needed to crack a codel, but its still good to learn. It taughth me about seceret ink like milk or urine and how to inspeect for the code. I wouold recomend this book to anyone who is interested in cracking codes!
