The Trials of Apollo #1-3

The Hidden Oracle / The Dark Prophecy / The Burning Maze

Rate this book
The formerly glorious god Apollo, cast down to earth in punishment by Zeus, is now an awkward mortal teenager named Lester Papadopoulos. In order to regain his place on Mount Olympus, Lester must restore five Oracles that have gone dark. But he has to achieve this impossible task without having any godly powers and while being duty-bound to a confounding young daughter of Demeter named Meg. Thanks a lot, Dad. With the help of some demigod friends, Lester managed to survive his first two trials, one at Camp Half-Blood, and one in Indianapolis, where Meg received the Dark Prophecy. The words she uttered while seated on the Throne of Memory revealed that an evil triumvirate of Roman emperors plans to attack Camp Jupiter. While Leo flies ahead on Festus to warn the Roman camp, Lester and Meg must go through the Labyrinth to find the third emperor--and an Oracle who speaks in word puzzles--somewhere in the American Southwest. There is one glimmer of hope in the gloom-filled prophecy: The cloven guide alone the way does know. They will have a satyr companion, and Meg knows just who to call upon. . .

Muy buena introducción. Giros de trama que no te imaginas y aventuras con personajes más conocidos de las anteriores sagas.

Trails of Apollo Series
Man this was an amazing series! It was so eventful, funny, and had an fantastic plot! The Trails of Apollo is about the Mythical Gods of Olympus! The story plot is where the God Apollo was cased down to be a mortal by Zeus. Apollo has to accomplish a very dangerous mission so he can become a God again. If you liked The Lost Hero series or the Percy Jackson series, you'll definitely enjoy this series. I love how it tells the story through Apollos eyes and how action packed this series is! The author also did a very good job at showing the characters personalities which makes the book a 100 times better. It is also very nice that there is no swearing or really inappropriate jokes or things in the book. The only thing I dislike about this book is that it takes Gods name in vain sometimes. Other than that I encourage all ages to read this awesome series.

Love it. I just finished this book again. There are many series in the Percy Jackson series in this order. Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Kane Chronicles, Heroes of Olympus, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Trials of Apollo. The Trials of Apollo and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard happen at the same time so you need to read them at the same time. But The Trials of Apollo is longer it and is still going on. There are also add ons to each series.

Controversial but the trails of apollo series is my favorite series. I love the characters so much. The character development for Apollo/Lester so good and I love that they acknowledged that Grover like totally disappeared. Lester is my favorite person ever and i love love love Meg so much.

If you love Rick Riordan, these books will continue that love affair. My favorite part of all of these books is the Haikus at the beginning of each chapter. Riordan is amazing at Haikus!

This series was soooo good. It really was super cool to see how the gods see us and how the view of us change in Apollo views.

Amazing backstory about how Apollo changed from a I-don't-care attitude to actually caring about demigods. Good grammar too
