Object Me by Roxy Sinclaire follows the life of Yvette and Dylan.
Yvette is a girl that is determined to land her dream job and after months of rejections, she's come to the conclusion that she needs to look marketable to get the job. She lands the job, but will she be able to keep it?
Dylan is a hot shot lawyer that never loses and always gets what he wants. At present, he's only interested in making money and winning cases until he sees the woman with the best lips he's ever seen. Being the man he is, he just takes it and the adventure begins.
This was a very quick and easy read. It was exciting and had drama at every turn. Clean-ish sex scenes and a beautiful happy ending. Highly recommend.

Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance were well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors, and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all. Overall, loved it, I recommend reading!!

An outstanding read of drama, suspense, mystery, betrayal, some surprising twists, attraction, a possessive alpha male who always gets what he wants, a conniving father and ex, panty-melting sex, a wonderful story-line, and interesting and intriguing characters. Object Me will grab you at the cover and won't let you go until the very last page and even then you are left with wanting more.

Yvette is just starting her law career and as the low person on the totem pole, it falls to her to fetch the coffee for her hot new boss, Dylan. Hotshot attorney, Dylan wants a lot more from Yvette than coffee, but so does Dylan’s dear ole Dad… Ugh! Don’t you just hate that?

When I first started listening to Object Me, I thought it was going to be a light listen, but it actually turned darker towards the middle of this 4 ½ hour audiobook and then it lightened up again towards the end. It’s a nicely written, hot little listen.

The audiobook is narrated Elizabeth Redmond and she does a decent job of narrating, but I have to say I became confused several times and couldn’t tell if it was Dylan or Yvette’s POV, there’s wasn’t enough variation between the two main characters and it was a little frustrating. Overall, I recommend this audiobook and will definitely add future Roxy Sinclair audiobooks to my growing list!

This audiobook was given to me at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review, thanks, Audiobook Boom!

Yvette starts her first day of working for a firm, running for coffee and being the newbie. When her boss Dylan calls her into his office. He wants to fire her but when he truely sees her, he wants her. Unbeknownst to him so does his father. This is a great story. This book also includes two bonus books. Fisher book is called touch down. Alexa is the head cheerleader and Martin is the captain of the football team. When alexa's parents force to to date rich guys for their appearance she runs to Martin. She likes him but isn't sure if he likes her back. So when their room mates lock alexa and Martin in his room to talk things out, much more happens. The second book is called tempting me. It's about a stripper named Ryan who is a player. When he does a dance for Aria for her bachelorette party he tells her if it doesn't work out with her fiance come see him. When she catches her fiance with her best friend things start to go down hill for aria. Her parents disown her, what is she to do? Need to read great book.

A fantastic read! Yvette had worked diligently and had got the job of being an assistant to Dylan Hanson. She had received great grades in college and wanted to work for a law firm that would use her intelligence and give her a chance to learn the ropes as a great attorney. Her first day she found she was only going to be getting coffee for everyone on the twentieth floor. When Dylan first laid eyes on her she was sweaty, barefoot and her hair was flying all over her head because she had run up the stairs to be at the elevator when he walked off to give him his coffee. Several times that day she brought him his coffee and not once was the order correct. He called her to his office to fire her and she had herself together and she caused him to place his hands on her in the most unprofessional way. Then his dad sent for her and made her his assistant, calling her "gumdrop." When he hit on her she was devastated. Running away she passed Dylan who wanted to know what had caused her to cry. He followed her and took her to his home. They became inseparable working on his biggest case.

So sexual assault is romantic now

This was in no way what I expected from this lawyer romance based on the synopsis. If this is what you what you determine as romantic; being an abusive a-hole one moment, a jealous a-hole the next and then an avenging a-hole, who says he wants to be nothing like his father but is spiraling down a rabbit hole of utter bs.
This book disgusted me and I am sorry to say I couldn't finish it.....
I normally dont rate book I dont like or finish but maybe change the synopsis to forewarn those who aren't interested in these sort of stories. As it can be seen I am most clearly not!

So stupid ... the Hero is after the heroine (and I still don't know why; one minute, he's going to fire her b/c he thinks she's a mess ... the next, he wants to know her Biblically), his DAD is after the heroine. Meanwhile, she just wants to be known for her brains, but has no problem reciprocating when it's the hot hero doing the attacking, and he attacks. One minute, they are talking. The next, he's got her up against the wall and ravishing her. Say whaaaat?!? Just a bad, bad story.

Object Me

I really enjoyed this book. It took alittle while to get into it but once it got started I couldn’t put it down. The father and son relationship was tense and I couldn’t understand how they could work together until the end of the book. But I am so glad Dylan finally found someone who understood him and he stopped being such an a**hole. It was an interesting read and I have always liked Roxy’s books, this one was no different.

I knew that promotions usually come from favoratism. It helps that they’re actually good at their job. Strange when they are kept on while they suck at their job.
The good don’t always win unfortunately.
This is all pretty cryptic I know.
But the attraction might win in this case!

Great read

Storyline that blows your mind, drama, suspense, anger created scenes and love.

Father/son hatred and jealousy was mind blowing. Then throw in the hate of one sister of the other to the point of attempting to have her arrested for murder smh

Hot & Steamy Shorter Listen Office Romance. I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. This audiobook was an interesting listen for some hot and steamy office romance and eargasms. I narrator did a good job bringing the characters and story to life. My only criticism is that if an author writes a male and female POV, there should be two different male and female performers. I get too distracted and confused sometimes trying to keep up with the attempt at a deeper voice or higher voice, depending on if a male or female is performing both POV's. Otherwise interesting storyline.

I so badly wanted to like this but found the plot just too unbelievable to really enjoy. The narration could have been better and her constant pronunciation of "second" as "secont" (one of my biggest pet peeves!) bordered on annoying. Two seemingly intelligent lawyers usually acted anything but. The saving grace was the happy ending.

I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. This review is my honest opinion.

Dylan, the strong sexy alpha lawyer who always gets what he wants and wins (his words) in and out of court sees Yvette, smart, beautiful and the newest employee in his firm and he feels the sparks fly and wants her. Yvette wants to prove herself with the firm but she is attracted to Dylan but she knows nothing can take place as he is her boss. In comes Dylan's dad who sees the dynamics between them and decides to move Yvette into an office closer to him and gives her cases to work on but all is not what it seems with Dylan's dad.

When Yvette realizes what his dad is up to, she leave the office in tears, but Dylan catches up with her and decides that she will come back and work with him on the only case he lost and doesn't understand how that happened. As they start working thru the case together, Dylan realizes just how smart and savvy Yvette is when it comes to the law. Suddenly, they are in the fight of their life in order to save the firm from destruction but at the same time their attraction gets hot, heavy and stronger as it bring them together as a couple.

Will they save the firm and become a couple or will it all fall apart????

I started this book and thought, great another boss sleeps with the new employee...boy was I wrong. While the premise starts out that way, this book goes so much further. Dylan meets Yvette and is completely enthralled by her looks. Gets her in bed, has a great time but realizes there is so much more to this woman. Yvette is an up and coming lawyer, and is tired of not being taken seriously. When Dylan goes up against his father, and takes Yvette on as his peer, his life changes completely. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the family dynamic, the ruthlessness of the career, the love, the hot sex, there was nothing that didn't keep my interest.

Elizabeth Redmond narrates this book. She is a pretty good new adult narrator, has some difficulty distinguishing between her voices for the different characters, but overall did an decent job.

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Yvette is an assistant to Dylan Hanson of the law firm Hanson and Associates, basically a glorified gopher, until Dylan asks to see her in his office and then things escalate quickly. Dylan is a high powered lawyer, top of his field. He is also a player, top of his field. Apparently so is his father Pete, as he has taken an interest in Yvette as well. Yvette just wants to do her job but the men she works for seem to want more, much more than just her secretarial skills. Dylan is determined to keep Yvette for himself and devises a way to do just that. Pete Hanson wants Yvette to work for him, but his reasoning behind this may be motivated by someone close to Dylan. Pete has a problem with his son and it seems he wants to teach Dylan a lesson. Dylan has been working this huge case and he needs a win. Dylan is definitely a man who knows what he wants and he won't stop until he gets it. He wants Yvette. Yvette gets caught up with doubts about her job and wanting her boss Dylan. There's one thing that Dylan does to erase her doubts and he does that thing often. Dylan runs hot and cold, while Yvette is slow and steady. Dylan is a playboy and a player, but Yvette just might be his game changer. THIS BOOK WAS AWESOME ! ORIGINAL STORYLINE AND AMAZING CHARACTERS ! UNEXPECTED TWISTS WITH MIND BLOWING, BED BREAKING SEX ! ! GREAT READ ! !

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I loved this book. I have never read/listened to this authors work before. She did a great job of developing a strong story with good characters. Once starting this book, I didn't want to put it down. I did get frustrated a few times when Yvette wouldn't stand up for herself. She finally pulled through. And, of course, the hunky Dylan (bad boy) didn't disappoint. The narrator did a good job. Have listened to her many times.

OH MY GOD!!!
you can give me stories like this every day and I will devour them.
Dylan is the boss, THE LAWYER, at the firm where Yvette just got hired. she is met by James (another assistant) and given a quick tour and then sent to get coffee for the conference meeting that is starting in just a few minutes. she comes back at the same time as Dylan, her boss. she kicks off her shoes and basically runs to the conference room to hand out coffee. Dylan sees her without her shoes and all disheveled and in no way impressed.she is then given a mound of paperwork by James to file, collate, etc. she is never told where anything is and must find everything she needs on her own.
at the end of her day James comes in to tell her that Mr. Dylan Hanson would like to see her in his office. she stumbles into his office while Sophia is there trying to get her groove on with Dylan, Yvette tries to excuse herself but Dylan won't allow her to, Sophia doesn't like this. Dylan falls in instant lust and kisses the life out of Yvette.
Yvette ends up staying on at the firm and helps Dylan with a major case that Dylan unfortunately loses...is it because he can't keep his mind off Yvette or another reason??
the betrayal is a doozy!
this is a keeper for me

Dylan is a lawyer, he's part of the Hanson in the Hanson Firm. He's tried to make his father happy his entire life, without much success. His employees don't look him in the eye, hell they don't even look up when he's in the room.

Yvette is fresh out of law school. She's hoping that working for Hanson's Law Firm will be the fairy tale story she's been hoping for. She'll be the outstanding lawyer that she's worked so hard for years to be. She certainly doesn't expect to be objectified by her bosses.

I loved the idea of the story. Who doesn't love a good billionaire boss plotline? I just couldn't completely connect with the main characters. The interactions between people in the book felt a bit awkward and reactions seemed a bit unbelievable at times, especially Dylan and Yvette. They were like magnetic sand... all over the place but always coming back together in the end.

While not my favorite book from Roxy, I still enjoyed it. The sex scenes were quite steamy and let's be honest, I read these books for the spice. This review is completely based on my opinion, I recommend you try it for yourself.
