With the same ruthlessness he uses to dispatch his business rivals, he vows to annihilate Declan.

Jonas is determined to personally oversee her recovery and she lets him. It was a good book. I ended up giving it 4 stars instead of the 3 I had intended. I was hoping for even more drama than there was, and seriously there could have been more, but it is what it is 🤷‍♀️
I enjoyed Jonas and Lily closing in on their relationship. Both still had many things to change and figure out about themselves, but like they say, love conquers all!
Also, one last thing I found out was that I really Love Jonas’s son, he is the cutest, sweetest 16 year old ever. If there ever ends up being a book about him in the future, I’d eat it up 😄

I give the conclusion of Jonas and Lily's story a solid and darkly erotic 5 stars. Just as with the first two novels, Lily and Jonas burn up the sheets, walls, and whatever surface they choose to use to physically become part of one another. The story wraps up everything neatly and beautifully and I was not disappointed.

I normally start off raving about how much I loved the male lead but I have to say I loved his son just as much. Paul is Jonas's teenage son who is a music protege attending Julliard. He's Jonas's carbon copy in pretty much every way and I loved that. Paul adores Lily just as much as his father does and he shows it through his actions and protectiveness. He's quite a great supporting character.

Jonas and Lily are still struggling with Lily's past coming to bite her, Lily's eating disorder and weight loss, and the balancing of their new relationship. Lily finds herself giving Jonas the much needed control in order to begin to heal and get herself better. They're very physical and passionate relationship continues and Lily finds herself needing to hear what is in Jonas's heart and to know she isn't a passing fancy.

Jonas struggles with giving Lily the complete security she needs as he moves her into his apartment to live with him. He shows her physically how important she is to him but doesn't always effectively communication his love for her in a way that she would have no doubts. He is a generous, passionate, loyal, and driven man. It isn't hard to like him or love him.

The story gives both Lily and Jonas their happily ever after while rapping up their relationship and future. Amelie S. Duncan completes her series with an erotically beautiful ending. This series is definitely for those of us who loved The Crossfire Series (Sylvia Day), The One Night Trilogy (Jodi Ellen Malpas), The Ethan Frost Series (Tracy Wolff), and the Jackson Steele Trilogy (J. Kenner). I loved each book in this trilogy and am a now loyal fan of Duncan.

I waited so long and impatiently for the conclusion to this poignant story. Lily is a complex character, flawed and battered but so strong despite her fears. And Jonas is that kind of alpha male that you want to cave in to the demands of love.

I find myself falling into the cocoon of the relationship these characters have and forgetting everything else. They fight their own patterns in life, their mistakes and mistrust, to find their own rhythm to fit to each other. I liked the fact that Lily is facing her feelings even when they terrify her. It was also beautiful to watch all the care and kindness Jonas bestows on her because he can't deny his feelings even when he hides them.

There are tender moments of love and intimacy, of understanding and need, but also tense scenes of control, deceit and ultimatums. The relationship between them goes through many phases and all are realistically portrayed. And the physical intimacy keeps its erotic and sweet quality.

I noticed how detailed the description is about everything, even every little action. That might slow the pace a bit, but it didn't deter me from getting absorbed in every nuance of their learning to be together.

I also enjoyed how Lily tries to overcome her emotional dependence from Jonas. She loves him and wants him to love her as wholeheartedly, yet she craves to be on her own, capable of fighting her battles against his exes, her insecurities, even Declan who scarred her with so much derision and abuse. And Jonas has also enemies and obstacles that added a lot of drama to the plot as well as a bridge to strengthen their bond.

One of my favourite scenes involved Star Wars, rosewater custard, and warm feelings. Quickly followed by a couple of intimate scenes that were absolutely steamy!

Of course, another asset of the novel is how much Lily grows as a character. She may be fragile, but she's also full of love and willing to break free from her demons. It's impossible not to fall in love with Jonas, though. Domineering, yet he couldn't care more for his woman. Beyong the pretty feelings between them, there is also plenty of surprises and drama to keep the reader occupied until the next burst of passion that makes the pages tremble.

I think this final part was longer than the other two. As it is, it covers all the issues left hanging in the previous part from Declan's abuse to Melisssa's stalking and, above all, the intense and profoundly romantic relationship between Jonas and Lily.

This is a story of hope, love, renewal, and all the sadness and beauty of it I will take with me.

Favourite quotes:
Is it wrong to love how much you want to be with me?
I wanted to keep the happiness on his face forever.

HEART MELTING ENDING TO A GREAT SERIES

This was my favorite of the 3 books in this series. The first book drew me in, hook, line, and sinker, the second book tore my heart out as Lily went through so much sadness and stress on her own, but this third book was great! Jonas stepped up to the plate and showed he was the one for her, Lily already knew he was the one for her, and they worked through everything together. Jonas, too, grew a lot in opening up to his feelings for Lily and trusting her. Man how much I hated Melissa!!! And Declan!!! Glad to see them both get what they were due for all their schemes and lies! And Heather??! Was she even pregnant??? I was so proud of Lily at the "visitation" and to see how much she had grown! Getting help with her self esteem issues from the abusive relationship she had been in took a lot of strength to overcome. The love and support from Jonas was so heartwarming to witness. And for Jonas and Lily to get their HEA was SO satisfying! But I wanted another epilogue, or another book. About their wedding, and happy life, and babies. Maybe a book about Paul, then we can still have them and Dani and Alan in it, and maybe a book about Ian and Mary. Come on now, don't leave us with a big book hangover. This was a great series I will re-read over and over again!

This was a great ending to Lily and Jonas’s love story!
Some parts are hard to read based on Lily’s mental and emotional trauma caused by her ex, but I appreciated how caring and attentive Jonas, Dani and the other people in her life were. That support is hard to come by in life, and it really made a difference for her. The way her therapy sessions and discussions with Jonas, Dani and the others were very realistic. The way this all panned out was perfect and I’m glad the author didn’t rush things and just go for an HEA without all of these necessary steps taking place.
I also loved watching Jonas’s walls coming down as he let Lily into his life more. He always swore he would never do another relationship/marriage, etc. but he saw what he had in Lily and couldn’t let her walk away. Lily had her struggles, but Jonas did as well, especially being such a public figure. The story did a great job in shedding light on this fact and the stress this put on Jonas and Lily at times as well.
Lastly, you can’t forget the spice - there was a lot in this one. Nothing too crazy, but there was definitely plenty of it!
Overall, I really enjoyed this series and I read them all over 3 days! Great reads!

There’s still some uncertainty with Jonas and Lily. Lily needs to heal from all the pain and manipulation that Declan has done to her. She is becoming sick and isn’t eating and avoiding anyone that loves her to keep them save. Jonas and Dani want to help her and Ian and Mary too, but she shut the door on them and won’t them them know. Until Jonas has had enough and comes in and takes over. They go to the doctor and see how bad it is. She’s weak and lonely but slowly she sees she isn’t alone and has strength from other to go on and fight.

Everything is right with Lily’s world

Ahhh, the final chapters in a beautiful story! All the pieces and people come together but not without a little drama and a lot of love. I so like a story that finds a peace at its end and a love that is shared and will continue to be shared! The reader is allowed to get into Lily’s mind and her heart and watch as she rids herself of her fears and doubts. Love is victorious but you need to work for it, earn it, and believe in it... Lily became a Tiger!

I loved all 3 books. I could not stop reading. I had a rough time getting though book2. I myself am going g through a rough time with a relationship of 26 years. Which is now over. I know it is fiction but it spoke to my heart. Maybe there is still hope. This trilogy is a wonderful read. Love, hope and promises

. Be prepared for laughing, tears and a good feeling. I would recommend this book to all my friends and family. TY Ms. Duncan

Reading

I choose this series because the first one was a free book. I bought and read the other two because I couldn't wait to find out the ending to Lily and Jonas story. This is simply one of the best series I have read in a while. Me. Duncan, please continue to write books of this nature. I think you are a good author and look forward to reading more of your books.

Almost Forgotten

I placed this book in my kindle library a while ago, and only recently did I read book 1. After finishing it (book 1), I bought 2 and 3. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. Exciting, emotionally gripping, and very sexy.

Great series!

This is a great book and series. I would recommend this series. It definitely gives a true insight (my opinion) on what it's like to leave a controlling relationship that has abuse and how hard it is to trust and love again

Tiger Lily, Part Three, Amelie Duncan

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre:  Romance, Erotica

I loved the first two parts but...I read a lot, and when it came to starting this once again I needed to go back and have a quick refresh. That’s always frustrating in a way, I really want to get onto the new stuff but know I need to pick up where it stopped. I really enjoy these reads best when I can go through the whole trio back to back, but sadly there wasn’t time – and I was too impatient anyway!

So having found where the story ended ( with the wonderful, awful, be-itch Melissa being her best) I soon got drawn back into the story. Its a kind of stalemate for a long while – Lily loves Jonas and wants more than just being a companion, Jonas won’t bend, Companion is all he can offer. It’s what broke them last time. She’s so ill though he’s shocked, and she needs his help. She’s struggled alone and now has to give in and accept help from wherever it comes. Jonas moves her in with him temporarily, takes over on the Declan issue, and wants her to just concentrate on getting well. In her attempts to stop feeling, to forget she became so ill that she was in danger of dying if she continued not eating properly and exercising to extremes...its not what she intended, and she hadn’t realised she was so ill. It scares them both so they take a break from the issues separating them and work to get her well.
Melissa though – that girl’s not going down without a fight – a nasty, dirty, no holds barred one. Oh goody ;- ) I love her sort of character in a story. True to form she starts up on the offensive, working at Lily’s weak points, her background and image, her lack of sexual experience, the length of time Jonas and Melissa have known each other....it’s really difficult for Lily as she knows much of what Melissa says is true, and she’s clever, she only gets to Lily when she’s alone.
Jonas son Paul, he’s a great kid and added some terrific levity to scenes. He also provided a bridge for the truth to come out. Dani too – she’s a real gem, and so caring. She’s happy with her new man, but wants Jonas to be happy and genuinely likes Lily and wants to help. Its easy to think that's a cover, that she’s hiding something, that maybe she’s got ulterior motives but she hasn’t. There’s few people like her in the real world and that's a shame. I think it’s quite hard to create characters like her that feel real, that don’t seem too contrived but Amelie has done it here and everyone should have a friend like Dani.
Jonas is his usual ultra controlling self, but events can't always be controlled, he can’t always direct what happens and that frustrates him. Things look like they’re going well for a short while and then something happens and its all gone again, he’s lost control and struggles. He’s so scared when he hears what the doctor says about Lily, how close to dying she came, and yet he can’t seem to admit even to himself that what he feels for her is love. He’s given up on that, won’t allow himself to go there, even though he lost her before because of it. Can they get through his mental barrier, will Lily stay if he can’t or will it be the end this time?

As well as the Love issue of course there’s the Declan issue, and all that encompasses. He’s manipulative, and even though Jonas and his team are involved now he’s still got some nasty, dirty tricks up his sleeve...what’s going to happen next there and will that be the breaking point?
Its another sexy, sensual and riveting story. As ever the sex scenes fit the story. I wrote in a review recently of another popular trilogy that there the sex overtook the story. the answer to everything was Have Sex...it got Boring, even though the scenes were well written it became repetitive and I kept flicking past pages and pages of it.. Thankfully Amelie has stayed out of that trap. I want a story where its the plots that count, the events that happen to the characters, which make up the bulk of the book, not the sex, and that’s what’s delivered here.
I’m intrigued too by Ian and Mary, and feel there’s a book in the making there maybe?
If you want a romance that’s seductive and sensual and yet still has a solid and realistic storyline this is one for you. I loved it, read through in one go and look forward to when I can find time to read all three books back to back.

Stars: Five, a fabulous and satisfying finish.

Review of TIGER LILY by Amelie S Duncan. **** 4 Stars****

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review on behalf of THE BOOK NUTS REVIEWERS.

Lily Salome is an only child, pampered but dearly loved by her parents. They teach her self value and honesty but most of all, they teach her about unconditional love. Tragically, her parents are killed in a car accident, leaving her an orphan with no one but her best friend Mary and her boyfriend Declan.

Lily relocates to New York and she begins to rely heavily on Declan to see to her needs. Lily's relationship with Declan Gilroy becomes volatile and Declan plays on her insecurities, brought on by the loss of her parents. He leads her down a path of destruction, through psychological and physical abuse. Lily escapes the abusive relationship, with Declan breaking up with her. She's devastated but picks up the pieces of her tattered life and throws herself into her work.

Lily's job at Arch publishing as an assistant gives her some peace of mind but allows her to work in an area she loves. She is tasked with trying to gain the trust of a prospective client, Jonas Crane, through an intentional accidental meeting.

Jonas Crane is the epitome of all things business. He is successful, wealthy, gorgeous and seems to have it all. When he meets Lily at a bar, he's intrigued with the young lady who has caught his eye.

Their relationship burgeons into a fiery and sensual journey for both Lily and Jonas. It takes some interesting twists and turns and the secondary characters give it a humorous change of pace.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it. I would caution that the occurrence of domestic abusive could be a trigger for some readers but in the end, the story holds some valuable insights into this very issue as well as some general advice.

I look forward to reading more from Amelie S Duncan.

I would like to thank Amelie Duncan for the opportunity to read Tiger Lily part 3. I have loved this series from the very beginning and she does not disappoint with this book either as it's the continuation of Jonas and Lily's story. I absolutely loved that Lily was a much stronger woman in this installment while Jonas exposed his more vulnerable side. I have found myself completely invested in each character including the supporting ones. I would love to read more about Paul (Jonas's son) after he has aged some. Although he has given us a glimpse as to what a teenaged Jonas may have been like. I also really enjoyed the teasing of a story between Mary and Ian.

I give 4 stars to Tiger Lily part #3 and can't wait to see what Amelie Duncan comes up with next.

I haven't done anything productive in over 24 hours because I'm addicted to this series big time. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this ending!

Lily loves Jonas but she doesn't fully trust him. In the back of her mind, she doesn't believe he will stay with her even after everything they have been through. It doesn't help that there are some people who are trying to keep her fears going. Her ex Declan keeps humiliating her at every turn, so she's finally turning over the control to Jonas to annihilate him. She's still physically recovering from the mess that her life has become, while Jonas has taken over. But she's still waiting for him to say "I love you." Will Jonas ever completely commit, or will all their obstacles be too much?

WHAT A BRILLIANT ENDING to a fantastic series! Again, I must say, that I'm so glad I had all 3 books at once or I may have lost it. Amelie S. Duncan's talented writing style had me held hostage, as I couldn't put any of the books down until the very end. Her well written storyline was taken up quite a few notches in Book 3, and flowed effortlessly. The progression of Lily getting stronger throughout the series with realistic help, really made her stand out, while Jonas evolved from just an Alpha to a beautifully loving ALPHA. The secondary characters are awesome, and I sincerely hope that maybe some of them get a book! (Mary and Ian hint hint). The twists and turns added high intensity to the story. This is a series that will stay with me, and I know that I will read it again and again! CANNOT WAIT to read more by this fantastic author!

Tiger Lily is the wondrous story about of course Tiger Lily. I have loved each story in this Trilogy.

The story with Jonas & Lily continues in the last book of this trilogy. I have to say that I love all the characters that Amélie S. Duncan has written in Tiger Lily. Well almost all. Isn’t there always someone you love to hate in a story! Well of course there are 2 not very nice people and one of them is Declan, Lily’s ex-fiancé. And, the other person I can’t say because you just need to read this book. But, you as the reader will need to start at the beginning. With Tiger Lily #1. This book is not a stand alone!

I always take some notes while reading so I won’t forget about them and here are a few of my notes that I took.

→I now need to read Mary’s & Ian’s Story! And, Mary can stop pretending she isn’t interested in Ian! Amélie please write more so I will know their story.

→I love that Dani (ex wife to Jonas & mother to Paul) can be such good friends with Lily & Jonas.

→Paul is such a charmer just like dad.

Anyway I hope those were little teases will make you curious and you will want to read this series and of course Tiger Lily #3.

This ARC was a complementary gift for an honest review. I love this author and I hope that you will love Tiger Lily as much as I did. I can’t wait to read more books by Amélie S. Duncan.

Tiger Lily (Tiger Lily #3) by Amelie S. Duncan continues the story of Lily and Jonas. Lily now realizes that she needs Jonas in more ways than one. She has ran her body into the ground to the point the doctor is worried about an eating disorder and her situation with Declan has not gotten better either if anything it has gotten worst. Jonas has now taken control of everything concerning Lily’s life and she is concerned if is it because he wants a future with her or is this temporary. Between Declan and her food issues she has to also deal with Melissa who is not ready to let Jonas go without a fight. Even though Lily has given over her control to Jonas the same insecurities seem to crop up even after all Jonas has and is doing for her. She loves him and tells him often. She just wants to hear those 3 words from him. Everyone tells her that he does love her by his actions but it is not good enough for her. Theirs is a journey that continues to have its ups and downs and tribulations. The story was one that I fell in love with. Jonas is some kind of yummy. He is truly panty melting good. The story left me truly satisfied. The entire series was a good read. I was given an arc of the book for an honest review. I give this book 5 stars.

4*
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review*

This is the final instalment of the story following Lily and Jonas and it is most definitely the strongest of the three books. You can tell how Amelie's writing has developed throughout the series and it is a pleasure to follow their story to it's conclusion.

Lily is so much stronger in this book and it was sorely needed. We all love our sexy domineering book boyfriends but for it too work for me they must have a strong female companion who can give as good as she gets and hold her own, otherwise there is no balance in the relationship.

Thankfully, after everything Lily has been through we are finally starting to see her shine and this is no doubt due to Jonas's love and care. Jonas continues to be the strong domineering man we have come to love but Lily is by no means a walk over and is determined to finally have all of the man she loves.

After all the obstacles they have been through can Jonas finally commit to Lily the way she needs and wants?

Do we finally see the back of the destructive and devious Declan?

My lips are sealed you will just have to read the book to find out!
