Isı ve ışık sağlayan devasa bir patlayan gaz topumuz olan Güneş’in tüm güneş sistemine nasıl güç verdiğinden, buzul devlerden, gaz devi gezegenlerden, bizim de dahil olduğumuz karasal gezegenlerden, yalnızca Satürn’ün bildiğimiz halkaların çok görülmese de diğer gezegenlerde de bulunduğundan, Plüton’un gezegen statüsünün nasıl düşürüldüğünden ve cüce gezegenlerden, NASA’nın Deep Impact göreviyle ulaşarak örnekler aldığı kuyruklu yıldızlardan, sistemin dışına çıkan Voyager 1 ve 2’nin yolculuk sırasındaki görevlerinden ana hatlar ile bahsedilmektedir.

This is a great book for learning about our solar system. It made me really excited for near future exploration! Although some parts of the book were hard to get around the technology lingo, I appreciated that they used miles and KM for distance.
