The Lazarus Codex: Books 1-3 - a review by Rosemary Kenny

The developing story of Lazarus Kerrigan, part human, part paranormal wizard and perhaps most importantly, the Pale Horseman, one of the Four horsemen of the Apocalypse in the Biblical Book of Revelations, aka Death Incarnate. Although he doesn't fully realise his powers at the start, the trilogy is fully satisfying throughout, whether fighting Ghouls, struggling to pay his bills, searching for a precious mysterious box, or catching supernaturally-powered Acheron, a mass murderer who feasts on childrens' souls.
Among his friends and helpers are Captain Jean Lafitte - a 2 centuries old buccaneer, cops Emma and Moses, a Faery Queen, who's carrying his child, the Devil and his daughter - New Orleans will never be the same and nor will those who come into contact with the most amazing being they've ever met
- the inimitable creation of E A Copen, who is Lazarus. A great start to a great series...get it today!

Highly recommend this boxset if you like a series that's full of mystery, intrigue, magic, action & a varied cast of noir characters (& places) that all have a phlethora of human foibules & frailties, even though they're mostly dead &/or inhuman! Brilliant books that'll keep you up till the wee small hours turning the pages to see what could possibily go wrong, happen or how do they get out of their current hell-on-earth dilemma this time! On to the next boxset now - this series is additive! Brilliant supernatural read.

Hard to read this book

Supposedly this guy is a necromancer...but the author turned him into a whiny character ...could not read anymore of it...I dont know if it is just Kindle or not but the quality of the books have really gone down
