The e-book is dedicated to offering current UHD MSDA students and alumni guidance for careers in data science in Houston. The e-book summarizes industry information, job descriptions, salary expectations, and career progressions. The authors strive to prepare MSDA graduates for the workforce by offering career tips, interviewing and resume advice, and providing information on training programs and certifications for areas of specialization. The authors also hope to promote a growing UHD MSDA alumni network, so that students and alumni can share information about current and future opportunities and advance the field of Data Science and Analytics in Houston. While the e-book focusses on the UHD MSDA community, the authors believe that the research conducted and material presented will be useful to other students and graduates of Master's programs in Data Science and Analytics who are asking the same questions concerning what to do next as they start their careers in this very exciting field of Data Science and Analytics.
