This series was absolutely amazing! By far one the most dark and twisted series I’ve ever read! The writing was superb. These books are so full of suspense and will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Three amazingly dark books in one box set. If you love darkness and violence with a dry humour then this will appeal to you. Think Tarantino!
Feyness is where it begins, you are introduced to the Red Order and all it stands for. Its not for the faint of heart, there are some graphic scenes and some very Grim characters (little joke there) but under this battle of two families and a very twisted back story there is beauty and love. The relationship between Faye and Cole is so well written and they draw from each other, sometimes the dark and sometimes the light. It is very intense, you will also find yourself wondering about the other main characters and hoping against hope that they will get their own story!
Parasight is book two: hold on to your hats people - don't expect to be led gently into the darkness - you are about to be thrown, headfirst, with a stomach churning prologue, into the world of Grim and from thereon it is a hell of a ride.
In Parasight the violence is graphic and Tarantino-esque, not for the faint hearted, but it is tempered with a wicked sense of humour. I absolutely adored Grim and his sense of 'appropriate' retribution (you will never look at a melon baller in the same way again!).
You would think that Grim's character would be all darkness after his less than idyllic childhood, but when he encounters Calliah you can see this isn't true. Part waif, part warrior, she is the serenity to his storm. Despite her horrific life experience, she oozes a calm that brings out Grim's vulnerable side, she shows us the gentleman behind the Avenger, and she stands alongside him in their efforts to take down The Kingdom. There are some truly gripping, hold your breath moments but I don't want to give too much detail - you need to experience that for yourself!
Faithless is the final installment in the Red Order Series: Luke likes to be in control, and this story is a battle of wills, a fight for dominance. Luke with his dry humour and sharp edges had me all a flutter, but James has a compassion and warmth that shines through his own particular brand of darkness. Their power struggle, and the underlying spark is mesmerising.
Lily is an interesting character, she brings a whole new dynamic to the situation. Her feistiness even in the most dire circumstances had me grinning!
Full of surprises, death and depravity this story has everything you could want, but if you are of a sensitive nature it may not be for you.
ES Carter is so clever in the way parallels can be drawn between characters who appear so very different, she blows me away with her writing.

Three chillingly dark books in this boxset that completely blew me away. Taking place in the underbelly of London and following two families (the Cravens and the Hunters) as they battle out for leadership of the country. Three books, three standalone stories following the Red Order. No cliffhangers, no moonlight and roses, just pure unadulterated heroes full of power, passion, hatred and revenge, oh and a little (maybe a lot) twisted of mind. I loved the characters, they were all so complex, so wonderfully written and so deserving of the story. What a fantastic series. If ever a series deserved more than 5 stars this would be it, but be warned, this is not a series for the faint hearted, not even a little.

These 3 books are in my top 5 series of all time! I absolutely love ES Carter's mind, and how dark and twisty she can get. All three of these men are a delicious combination of sexy and deadly. They will do whatever it takes to protect what is theirs, and get revenge on the ones who wronged them. I recommend these to everyone I know, even if they don't like dark reads. Everyone needs to read them, and I do mean everyone!

Each book focuses on a different couple, packed with darkness and sexiness with iconic scenes that will forever etch into your memory. This series would satisfy the hunger of readers who prefer to dwell on the dark side.

Got through the first one. Putting it on hold for a bit. I am not HUGE fan of trilogies that are different characters stories.... Not to say I won't come back to it, I really did like the first one, well written.

these are very dark and twisted book so prepare yourself. but I really liked them. very good reads. the 3 books are about 3 different people (although all connected)
