About the author

Jon Land is an American author of thriller novels and a screenwriter. He graduated from Brown University in 1979 Phi Beta Kappa and Magna cum Laude. He often bases his novels and scripts on extensive travel and research as well as a twenty-five year career in martial arts. He is an associate member of the US Special Forces and is an emeritus board member the International Thriller Writers. John currently lives in Providence, Rhode Island.

One of my favourites!!

This sounded like a book I would enjoy way more than I actually did. It had some redeeming moments, but overall it felt more like a ridiculous caricature than a quality political intrigue and action story. It paled by comparison to Orson Scott Card's phenomenal novels, Empire and Hidden Empire, and it just didn't work for me on the less serious level like the more tongue in cheek Remo Williams stories from The Destroyer series.
