This book contains the same information available in the accompanying Coursera course at https://www.coursera.org/learn/algori...

For someone not taking the class, the book makes a good substitute. However for someone in the class like myself, I found it added nothing to the course materials. It would be better if the book contained solutions to the problems posed rather than just repeating the same assignments from the course.

Good but I expected more

Good book to start quth algorithms course but after the greedy methodology, only the problems definition comes up without further explanation...I would expect more theorical background and gidance

Don't see any value in this book. Does not learn algorithms, does not learn programming.
