Ian Johnson is a former Davidson standout who played 5 years as a professional basketball player in Europe. This autobiographical account guides the reader through Ian's journey as a basketball player and the pressures he faced at an early age due to the overall youth athletic system.

He also provides wonderful insights, and bits of information regarding the game of basketball and its development through the modern era.

Ian highlights how the pressure of performing on the court further magnified mental health issues he faced in his life. I truly enjoyed the candid nature of Ian's writing and his approach to improving the awareness around mental health and the pressures of youth sports.

A worthy read for basketball lovers, parents, athletic enthusiasts, and mental health advocates.
