After I bashed the first Sparkleton a few weeks ago, I learned that one of my sweet little friends loves them. In fact, they're her favorite series. I thought I should probably give Sparkleton another go. And guess what? This book was much better than its predecessor, mostly because there was less Sparkleton in it, but also because Sparkleton actually shows some character growth from the last book to this one. He even refers back to his last mistake and decides not to do something similar again. Many, many points for that.
Much better then the first one. Gabe is adorable and I like the lesson of not trying to change others. I still dislike Sparkleton very much. Again, great format, and I love the questions at the end for the kiddos.
