Actress Remi Divine is sick of bodyguards, sick of stalkers, and sick of feeling like she is always under a microscope. But this movie star isn’t helpless by any means. She’s got a rebellious streak, and she knows how to use it. First order of business: getting rid of the overbearing bodyguards who are sticking to her like glue.

Mason Swift has made protecting others his life, and when Remi ditches his two best men, he takes over and gives it everything he has. Having grown up in the foster-care system, and as a former special operative, he knows all the tricks. Nothing gets by him, especially not gorgeous, sneaky Remi.

He thinks she’s a diva. She thinks he’s arrogant. But when sparks turn to flames and their walls come down, their true hearts are revealed, and their connection is unstoppable. And when tragedy strikes, Remi realizes that being protected isn’t the worst thing in the world—but losing Mason just might be.

This was absolutely DIVINE!

When Remi is fed up with the bodyguards her brother has attached to her in order to protect her from a stalker, she lets her frustration be known. Then again, she really isn’t one to hold back on what she’s thinking or feeling...as long as she’s with friends or family. The solution to her problem is resolved by installing Mason Swift into her life and her home. Suddenly, she’s no longer being ignored and bossed around...she’s feeling her world tilt every which way but up.

I actually liked Remi quite a bit, although actresses are some of my least favorite heroines. She was pretty much down to earth like the girl next door and she ensnared Mason pretty quickly.

Mason was a great hero. His job is to protect but the instinct to do so goes deep into his DNA. However, he recognized that Remi need room to breathe, and the opportunities to help make decisions about her life so he set out to do so immediately.

Despite the stalker issue, this didn’t revolve around the danger alone. It showcases two people learning each other, falling in love and trying to figure out how they can make it work. Add in all the amazing characters that are in this couple’s life and this book is pretty much perfection.

Stories can stimulate all kinds of things and This is Love for some reason had Whitney Houston singing in my head:
"And I will always love you
I will always love you..."
It was my own personal theme throughout.

Maybe it was the Actress and the way this Bodyguard came together. Either way, it really doesn't matter because the story held up and was the perfect addition to this series.

This is Love by Melissa Foster delivered all I expected and more. A sexy, emotional, intense, and entertaining read. I had been looking forward to Remi’s story ever since she was introduced in the Sugar Lake series and my anticipation increased tenfold after reading Call Her Mine.

Remington Alridge, screen name, Remi Divine is an A-list actress. Like all actresses she has her adoring fans, however there is one who has taken his adoration a bit too far. So much so, he has taken to stalking her, breaking into her home, and carrying out a host of other creepy things. To ensure her protection, and to find the perpetrator, her big brother, Aiden secured the services of bodyguards. However, Remi, who feels constricted by the constant shadowing of the guards, always ditches them. At his wit’s end, Aiden goes for the big guns. Enters Mason Swift a former soldier, who takes his job of protection seriously. He may prove to be the one bodyguard she has no desire to ditch.

Remi and Mason despite being from different worlds had several things in common. They both experienced loss at an early age. Despite this, they were strong, determined, hardworking and caring individuals. Although their attraction to each other was immediate, their relationship evolved at a slow pace, adding authenticity to the romance.

Laden with humour, I laughed at the antics of the characters. However, the funniest and sweetest moment for me was when Remi discovered that the man she had been admiring would be her bodyguard. That moment was priceless.

I found the storyline regarding the stalker intriguing. I never had a clue as to the stalker’s identity. Foster threw me a loop with that twist. Never for a moment did I saw that one coming.

It was great reconnecting with the characters from the previous series and seeing how their lives have evolved. I enjoyed the camaraderie between family and friends that is present in Foster’s stories. Piper Dalton never failed to crack me up and I wait to get her story.

Narration
Although I received an ARC through Netgalley, I opted to listen to the audio version. The narrator, John Lane did a good job in capturing both male and female voices. It was a pleasure listening to his voice.

Conclusion/Recommendation
This is Love is a great addition to the Harmony Pointe series. I am waiting with bated breath for Piper’s story.

This one took me on a bit of a ride, not in a bad way (obviously), but Remi and Mason definitely had my head spinning as they tried to figure out not only who Remi’s stalker was, but their own feelings towards each other.

I really liked Remi. She’s sweet, sassy and despite the celebrity, is very down to earth, but she’s also quite naive in general about so many things that it drove me a little batshitcrazy at times. I understood why she was the way she was, but there were many times I wanted to reach out and shake some sense into her. Thankfully, with a little help, the blinders she’s been wearing are slowly taken off and she starts to take more control of her life. Mason was all kinds of protective alpha goodness. Able to see more than most do, he won me over because he truly cared about his job and the overall well being of those he cares about ~ even when he doesn’t want to.

Their journey to their HEA was an enjoyable one, frustrating because of all the push/pull going one, but enjoyable nonetheless. I enjoyed their battle of wills and how, for the most part, each one ended with both having a deeper understanding of one another, while also wreaking havoc on their emotions. It forced both of them to look deeper than either ever thought possible and pushed them to evolve. The chemistry between them was instant, but I did enjoy the slow burn of it all, even as it drove me nuts, and was very happy with where they ended up.

It’s hard not to get caught up in this authors books because all of the characters are so unique and well written that you just want to hang out with them as much as possible. I loved catching up with Ben and Aurelia and the rest of the crew (No, I have yet to find the time to read the Sugar Lake series...but it’s still on the never ending TBR list). And meet some new characters that have me crossing my toes that they get their own HEA’s in the future.

If you read Call Her Mine book 1 in the Harmony Pointe series you'll remember Remi Devine, she is the actress friend of Aurelia's and this is her story, if you haven't read it no worries this can totally be read as a standalone.

Remi is a well know actress who has been raised by her brother since their parents were killed in an car accident years ago, but now there is a stalker after her and he needs help so he hires a security firm to protect her when he is unable to. But here's the thing, Remi doesn't think it's anything serious and is tired of being followed by bodyguards so she is constantly sneaking away that's when Mason, the owner of the security company, takes over. He is convinced she's a diva due to her actions but what he sees proves she's anything but.

I love Mason and Remi together. I loved that they both had walls that the other was able to knock down, and don't get me started on the chemistry because WOW! They are just perfect together.

I'll say this time and time again, there is a reason I am a huge Melissa Foster fan and it's because of the way she pulls you into her world of characters and has you feeling as if you are one of the gang just hanging out watching everything unfold as it happens and it you are right there with them. You can feel the sparks, the skipped heart beats, and the tension when something is wrong. I will always HIGHLY recommend her books and the best part is each of them can be read as a standalone so you can jump in and start a series whenever you want. Like now, *hint* *hint*

This Is Love is book 2 in the Harmony Pointe series. Before I begin I would like to say that this is only my second book by this author who has an extensive list of other books and series which I hope to read in the future. Now although I really enjoyed book 1 in this series I didn't like this one as much. While it had an older sexy bodyguard and a sweet young actress with a stalker overall it was really cheezy and boring. I also felt when all the friends and their significant others were all together it was a mess of POV. The stalker issue was resolved super quick and felt insignificant. Now while I didn't love this one I do plan to continue the series.

Another hit for Harmony Pointe!!

Confession (lol): I read this book twice! Once back in mid October and another time about a week ago. IT IS THAT GOOD . And I may have also re-read Call Her Mine back in October. *shrug* I LOVE THIS SERIES !!

I already knew from Call Her Mine that Remi was going to be FUN :) She did not disappoint! Mason was everything I’d hope he would be and then some! The chemistry between them sizzled thru the story from the very beginning and that just made my reading experience that much more enjoyable! As always, the plot unfolded beautifully and the bit of mystery we had concluded well.

You guys, these two were so damn perfect for each other. I loved who Remi and Mason were both together and apart! They we just perfect characters. I just can’t with this woman! Every frikkin book I pick up by her gets better and better *happy sigh*

ARC received for an honest review

Sigh.. it is always a great day when a new Melissa Foster story turns up on my Kindle.

This is Love is the second installment in the Harmoney Point series, and whilst it could be read alone, why would you want to miss any of the goodness?

Now, I won't lie, as I was starting this story, I was trying to put the family tree together in my head, as so many of Ms Foster's stories do weave together these days, however I gave up and just got right to the nitty gritty of the story.

Our leading lady is DIVINE, and our main man is all kinds of hot, alpha-ey bodyguardness.
In fact, I was expecting someone to burst in song with "I Will Always Love You", and I was getting all kinds of Bodyguard vibes from this story.

Fun, flirty with a bit of mystery and a twist or two, this was a great way to send my weekend.

This Is Love was the second book in the Harmony Point series by Melissa Foster. Although the series was a stand-alone, it’s one in the many books within Foster’s Love In Bloom series.

Remington Aldridge was a famous actress known as Remi Divine. She had a violent stalker and her brother hired bodyguards until the threat was revealed. Enter Mason Swift. He owned the security company and once Remi ditched his two best men, he decided to take the project upon himself.

I enjoyed getting to know both Remi and Mason. They were both solid and mentally well people despite the tragedies they had seen in their short lives. I also liked Remi’s relationship with her brother, Aiden. He raised her after their parents died and they had a special bond. Foster took us through the many details, past and present, that made Remi and Mason who they were today.

True to form, This Is Love, was well written, well developed, complex and enjoyable. It also included many familiar names from previous books and a touch of suspense with determining Remi’s stalker. Overall, it was a quick, fun and sexy read. She Loves Me is up next with highly anticipated Harley and Piper’s story.

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

The second instalment in another great series from Melissa Foster. I was intrigued about Remi from the previous book, so to get her story was great. I liked her as a character, however I found that I liked Mason even more so.

This was a fairly light and easy read, and while it did take a little while to get into and get going, it had lots of great characters and some sweet and fun moments.

I enjoyed this one, and it can be read as a standalone. Looking forward to more from Melissa Foster, as I've learnt I can pretty much guarantee that I'm going to like whatever she writes.

I always say this but these books are like a cuddle up sweater on a cold day. And every story feels more like catching up with old friends as opposed to a new story except that I get so much more of each of their individual stories.

Remi was someone I didn't think I would ever be able to relate to. Not that she was a diva, just that her life was a whole other world to mine. And I can honestly say, fame is something I would never want. But Remi was such a sweetheart and was so normal I forgot she was America's Sweetheart. Despite the stalker.

Mason I really don't remember from any previous books but with my goldfish memory that doesn't mean much. From the beginning I loved him. He was so caring and protective of Remi without being overbearing or condescending. He just quietly made sure she was safe and cared for and it was impossible not to fall for him.

Together their chemistry was all kinds of hot but they were also just so beautiful. And I absolutely adored the story going on outside of their relationship. The whole book was just so much of what I love about these series.

I admit I was drawn to the pretty cover. Ok, not pretty but smoking hot model on the cover and the very few reviews that were found on Goodreads had nothing but good about this. So i went into the book expecting something amazing. Unfortunately I felt like I was let down. Generally I manage to read a book in a day or two but this book took me a lot longer. I do not know why but I did not manage to get into it completely. The premise was good and the characters were ok but I guess it simply wasn't that alluring to me.

Her beauty captivated him, and he feels this overwhelming need to protect her. But with a protective older brother, and being hired to do a specific job, does Mason have what it takes to stay strong and resist?

There is obviously attraction between Remi and Mason. Will they act on that attraction? You must read to find out.

Sweet read if you like your heroine with little to no back bone. She has plenty of money as an A list actress yet she defers to her older brother as if he's the boss of her. She doesn't like it but does nothing to change his controlling tendencies.

I liked the hero. He was devoted and not a man whore. He said he's been with a handful of women. He was 9 years older than her. She had only been with 2 men.

The hero was a little controlling, but a lot of that had to do with his job as her body guard.

Absolutely fantastic!

I truly could not love this book more. Remi and Mason’s story drew me right in and I felt like I was among old friends. Melissa Foster has such a way of being able to tell a story that I can see and feel. Mason has now become my all time fav hero....he’s everything you could want in a book boyfriend and more. I love Remi’s relationship with her friends and with her brother....and speaking of Aiden I’m keeping my fingers crossed that he gets his book soon!

Love it

I promised myself that I wasn’t going to get into another series. I’m already addicted to the Whiskey Brothers series by this author. But I read Call Her Mine, and of course had to read them all.
Remi is an actress who was raised by her brother when their parents died in a car crash. When she gets a stalker, her brother hires bodyguards. Feeling suffocated, she ditched them, so Aiden hires Mason, one of the best. But when they develop feelings for each other, it may put both their lives in danger, if Aiden doesn’t strangle Mason first!
I loved this book and I would recommend it to everyone. I can’t wait to read the next one.

This review was originally posted on my review blog Deanna Reads Books
This was my first Melissa Foster book, but her name did sound familiar to me. This book was a fun romance, that deals with loss and overcoming it, but also has a hint of romantic suspense. I think the only miss in the book was that I felt like there were SO many side-characters that I couldn't keep them all straight.

Remi is an interesting character, she has been kind of sheltered her whole life because her older brother raised her after their parents died when she was younger. I get why she is so frustrated and feels trapped. So when Mason starts working as her bodyguard, and they start to bond, I was glad to see that. Because it felt like she was in a gilded cage.

I really liked the slow-burn, we can't do anything about this, romance that they had going on. Remi knew what she wanted, but because of a miscommunication, she holds off. Mason knows he's attracted to Remi, but feels conflicted because of their age difference and the fact that her brother is paying him to take care of her.

Once they do get together, there are some great steamy scenes! I loved their chemistry with each other, but I did feel bad they had to keep everything a secret.

I did feel a little meh about the stalker. To me, it just didn't make sense at all. It also felt like it wrapped up a little too well. Like it felt a little bit rushed and I felt like I didn't get a good explanation about what happened.

I still enjoyed this one, and I am interested in reading other books from this author.

‘This Is Love’ is the second book in the Harmony Pointe series by Melissa Foster. Foster is one of my all time favourite authors, and the way in which she writes chemistry, passion and love is addictively compelling, and I never get enough of reading her romances. With this in mind, I could not wait for Remi Aldridge’s story.

Remi is a famous actress, her fame coming at a price when she attracts the unwanted attention to a stalker. With her safety in danger, her protective older brother Aiden hires additional bodyguards, ensuring that his sister is cared for. But having security follow her around 24/7 leaves Remi feeling suffocated and isolated. She is sick of being told what she can and can’t do, and feels lonely despite the love of her family and friends.

But when Mason takes over her security, Remi can’t shake her instant attraction to him, or the way in which he makes her feel normal in a world of non-stop paparazzi and potential threat.

Mason takes his job very seriously, ensuring that Remi has not only his full attention, but is able to relax in his presence and live life as normally as she can for someone in the limelight. Her beauty captivated him, and he feels this overwhelming need to protect her. But with a protective older brother, and being hired to do a specific job, does Mason have what it takes to stay strong and resist?

I really liked Remi as a character. She is normal and far from entitled. She loves her career, has a great group of girlfriends, and longs to be able to lead a normal life, despite nothing being normal for her since the death of her parents. Her past is painful, and something that has affected her greatly, and as Mason had a troubled upbringing with a mother who chose drugs over him, they can connect on a deeper and all consuming level.

I love how alpha male Mason can be, the lengths and extremes he will go to for Remi, and he is a complete heartthrob. A total badass of a book boyfriend!

If you are already a fan of a Foster, then this romance enables you to continue to be immersed in the lives and actions of characters you have already come to know and love. However this book is also a perfect standalone.

This book was off the scale in passion, chemistry and contained all the ingredients i seek in a romance. It is modern, original, and fun. I love the quirks and intricacies of Foster’s characters and I am so excited to see where else this series takes me.

‘This Is Love’ is an ideal read for anyone looking for a realistic romance that will keep you hot on your toes and swooning. It is fun, flirty and flaming hot!

This is Love by Melissa Foster
Harmony Pointe #2

Remi has a stalker and her brother, Aiden, has hired bodyguards to keep her safe. She is NOT thrilled to be so hemmed in and yet when Mason takes over sparks fly in more ways than one. The two have a tense truce in place eventually but it is difficult for them to keep a distance as he protects her and she works to finish a film. There is no real conflict between Remi and Mason and the main tension in the story is the stalker. The story was well written and interesting but I have a feeling that if you have not read any of the previous books that include couples in this story you might feel there is a lot of padding to this romance of Mason and Remi. If you are looking for an easy read filled with good friends, happy events and a low level stress factor even with a stalker then this book might be just what you are looking for.

Anyone who knows me will know right away why I read This Is Love....bodyguard romance! Yep, it's my catnip!

I absolutely enjoyed the heck out of this book! Remi Divine is an actress who is struggling with not only being stalked but also with an overprotective brother. He has assigned multiple bodyguards to her but is missing the target with them. When Mason Swift takes her case personally, the sparks instantly fly. Their chemistry is off the charts. The only challenge in guarding her body will be for him to be able to maintain his focus.

I loved both of their characters. They each bring a history of personal loss to their relationship. It makes it touch for them to be vulnerable with one another. However, through the love they find, they are able to eventually heal.

I'm looking forward to reading more by Ms. Foster!

This Is Love by Melissa Foster is book Two in the Harmony Pointe Series. This is the story of Mason Swift and Remi Divine. I have read the previous book but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Remi is a young actress that has to be assigned body guards due to a stalker and of course just being a star. But she is not taking things seriously in my thoughts and even tries to ditch her body guards. This leads Mason to take on the case more personally. Mason is a little bit older than Remi and has had a different life. Mason has grown up in the foster care system then went on to be a special operative. Mason in now into body guarding which his how he ends up working with Remi. Both have already settled into who the other person is in their mind but the more they get to know each other they start to realizes just how much more the other is than what they thought.
I am a big fan of Ms. Foster's so this was a must read for me.

I am loving this series. Melissa brings the wit, charm, and heat to these books. Although, I will admit that this book was more on the serious side than the humorous side. The humor that did come into play was in the form of Piper. Who I am very excited to read her story next.

Remi and Mason aka hottie guard had personal scars that they both were dealing with. So, this book is more on the angsty side. Yet, it is still steamy as heck. Remi and Mason went from lukewarm to steamy. As the story progressed, Remi blossomed into a more confident woman and Mason learned to let loose more. You could say that I was in love with This is Love.

We are back and this time Remi gets her chance ha a HEA. She just was not looking for it in a bodyguard. Most of her guards would not roam to her or even treat her like she matter. She was more than a subject.

Mason was hot sexy alpha intelligent and more. He saw her for who she was not what she represented.

For me John Lane did the job very well. His voice was inviting and hypnotic.

This Is Love

I absolutely, positively adored this book! Demi and Mason both are incredible characters with such deep emotions. Having family and friends from past books only makes it better.

I absolutely adored this, it’s a great ride ! Two absolutely fantastic lead characters (can I have my own Mason please) a fantastic read, well written, great pacing, just the right amount of tension and angst and of course romance, you won’t want to put it down until you are finished. Fantastic romance

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion
