She has a weakness for good red wine, Calvin & Hobbes comics, pie, dark chocolate and brown-eyed guys with beards, which is probably why she digs pirates, men in uniform and treasure hunters and writes about action and adventure and of course romance, which is the greatest adventure of all.

This book is rife with standard plot twists and ends in a cliffhanger. Loss of a 🌟star for the cliffhanger. Modern language used throughout detracts from the historical feel the novel should have.

This is the 2nd book in the series about Keelan and Landon.
* Please read book one first or you’ll miss too much. I recommend these books and hope you like them as much as I do.

Another action pack romance!
I do not have words for how good this book is fun of romance, humor, and danger it was a wonderful mix. The book is fast-paced and well get you engaged from the start to finish. Landon Hart well he is one mighty fine hero and Keegan Grey our southern belle was a perfect heroine. This book was crazy good I highly recommend it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

The second book in the Pirates & Petticoats Action & Adventure Romance series a well written story with a very good storyline. There is action, twists, turns, drama, danger,pirates, mystery, secrets, smugglers deceit, and a romance between Keelan Grey and captain Landon Hart. I enjoyed reading this book. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing.

Like the previous book in this series, I enjoyed the multifaceted characters in this story as well as the many twists and turns of the plot. I love Keelan as a heroine. She is so strong-willed and smart. Goodness, she had such a surprise at the beginning of the book. Her relationship with her pirate hero, Landon, was very tempestuous in this installment, and things didn't look good for them for quite a while, but the author did deliver on a solid HEA for the couple (though not for everyone) or at least a HFN.
Like with the previous book, I had some issues with language here. For some reason, this author sometimes uses sentence fragments and short phrases, even for paragraphs. I associate that kind of language use with contemporary romance, not historical. I believe that historical fiction should have full sentences and paragraphs that are more than a phrase. Historical fiction should have a lyrical flow to it that you just can't attain if you use these kind of language techniques. When the author writes full sentences and complete paragraphs, she has a lovely and engaging style. I just wish she would do it more often. If you enjoyed the first book of the series, you will most likely enjoy the continued adventures of Keelan and her pirate.

Adventure, romance, and surprises!
When I picked this book the author gave the whole trilogy so that was a treat and I loved each book. The Heart of a Siren is book 2 it continues with Landon and Keelan story there are some really good parts to this one I loved when Keelan was sneaking onto the ship. The adventure in all three books made this such an interesting book and series. I will admit you really need to read all three books it will give you a more balanced story, but each book was entertaining. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

This is the clean and wholesome version of If You Give a Rake a Reason by Chloe Flowers. It is pretty much the same story just younger audience friendly. Her characters are well developed and interesting enough to keep one engaged. The plot definitely kept me guessing which is how it should be. Highly recommend.

This is the sexy version of The Heart of a Rake. While I enjoyed the first version this was SO much better. I would definitely recommend reading the first book beforehand or a lot of the story will not make sense. There is hot and sexy action. roguish pirates, damsels in distress...what's not to like.

Fun story!
Enjoyed reading book 2 of this series. Very exciting story about pirates and family mysteries. Good series! Fun reading it!
