This book covers Col. Denning’s thirty-two year military career from WWII to the Cold War. It contains experiences of flying more than 48 types of airplanes, from a Stearman to a Mach 2 jet fighter; test piloting many types of aircraft in the Air Service Command, Air Transport Command and Air Rescue Service; serving as personal pilot for senior military, civilian and historical leaders; preparing speeches and Congressional testimony; and spending ten years in the Pentagon in the nuclear weapons and space activities programs.
