Rate this book
It is our hope that this bibliography somewhat of a misnomer, since it includes many resources that are not books will be a beneficial tool for those wanting to explore the movement of the Holy Spirit in the twenty-first century that has been dubbed the New Monasticism. This guide is broken down into four main - Resources specifically related to the New Monasticism, including the books that gave the movement its name- Resources on historical monasticism in the Christian tradition- Theological resources that describe the context out of which the New Monasticism arose- Resources related to each of the twelve marks of the New Monasticism Each of these categories is then divided up into several sub-categories. In each of the lowest level sub-categories, we have tried as much as possible to indicate a resource that is a good starting point for reading in that area, as well as a resource or two that is in our opinion the most essential reading on that topic.
