In the early stages of recovery, this book helped me overcome my addiction. The big blue was part of my daily life and meetings were on a daily basis. For anyone who is struggling with a drug/alcohol problem, this is a great book to use. But if you want to be totally free from the addiction, I would suggest the Addictive Free Life 12-step program. "12 Steps to an Addictive Free Life," because it targets being free from the addiction, not just living a life in recovery.
