A compendium of banal and simplistic suggestions for dealing with difficult personalities, backed by the vigorous method of research known as “the author’s personal musings”. A bland and wasteful treatment of what is actually a fascinating topic. There are better books out there about this.

A very good read. Love the chapter on how people will either give you stuff for free and are keeping scoring for future and bigger things. Then love to use Plausible Deniability to get you do get stuff off you which is usually more. These people are that twisted and evil. They will claim you are a taker and not a giver and they do the bare minimum. A very good read to see covert manipulation in narcissistic relationships of all times.

Covert Narcissism is subtle unlike the grandiose narcissism which is explicit in nature. I fluctuated between denial and shock throughout the reading process because this book has described everything I have witnessed and experienced. I may not have a structured commentary on this book at the moment but I must say that I have never enjoyed reading every part of any book as much as I did with this one.
