Okay...

Okay, the fact that Derek and Sofia (who have been on hundreds of missions) keep getting outsmarted with each book is really irking me. The author keeps insulting the reader's intelligence by trying to make us forget about all the powers the characters had in earlier books. But, to make it fit the current storyline their powers are basically useless. I think each series needs to be shortened to three or four books. It just seems like a lot of stall tactics to drag it until the last book when GASP finally wins. I still love the series and the characters. But, this is a major flaw for me.

So disappointed

I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am with the way Derick has developed in this "season" of sov. I've hung in there waiting on for him to show common sense and a hint of a backbone and it's just not happening. And since when do we not kill the villians? It's reached a level of pure stupidity and I'm at the point where I'm skimming entire chapters. And thisdrawn out process of unendings past life perusal has dragged on to the point it feels like the writer has run out of ideas of continuing the storyline. Huge disappointment for a once devoted fan

Bella Forest is awesome!! She has so many books with so many different story's and genres and she is constantly putting one series or another out. I have read just about everything she has written and I love them all. The shade books are my favorite. The way she can make you feel as if you have been transported Into the story is amazing!! I am so happy that the unending is finally remembering herself and that all the couples are getting closer. I cant wait too see what Bella has in store for us next.

This season keeps getting better and better 🤩
Can't believe how the Darklings keep surprising our crew, that 🤬🤬🤬 need to die, Danika and Petra first, they are the worst ever!!! 😡😠😤
Now that, apparently, Unending is finally back, we need Death free ASAP, so she can send the Darklings to the void. Can't wait for the next book, the rest of the season is going to be epic!!! 😍❤️

Amazing as Always

What can I say, this book was so exciting and thrilling at the same time. I can not wait until the Darklings get what’s coming to them. It seems like they just can’t get a break and sometimes it’s frustrating. I want Petra gone, eliminated and hopefully by Esme. I can not wait until the next book, with unending hopefully finding herself maybe there will be some payback. Thank you Bella for such a great adventure as always.

Long reaching

This arc is a complex composition with foundations I previous tales. Bella has woven them together well with only little hints along the way to set the scene for the intrigues that have now come to light. Spirit Bender set events into play long before Derek, Sophia, others were trapped on their vacation.

The story continues, and we see the different Shadians doing their bit alongside the citizens of Visio to defeat the Darklings and free Unending.

My heart was hurting

This book was amazing capturing so many emotions in me as a read. I was happy about my favorite couple finally getting together. then I was so mad at the darlings always getting away. And then I was frustrated at Dankia and Petra, then I was sad the book ended but now I'm excited that I'm off to start the next book in this awesome series. This is a must read book!

Omg this book!!!!! I loved learning more about The Unending....as sad as it was it was really interesting to get to know her better! I really like this chapter and it has kept all of us on our toes. But after being outsmarted yet again it is time for Derek to bring back up in to finally put these darklings in their place! GASP needs to handle things the way they use to or else they will be defeated. The wait for the next book will be excruciating!

Captivating

The story is becoming intriguing and exciting. Just watching the characters go through this adventure has me addicted. I am hooked to this series

This book has brought us full circle to the very first ‘A Shade of Vampires’ and appears to be finally answer some long needed questions. If your ‘A Shade of Vampires’ fan you truly love this season I know I am.

Maybe a little pull back

As much as I love these books I do have to say that I wish there wasn't so much "description and explanation"
I find myself skipping over alot of the book just to get past the uneeded parts.
Could use more "sum up" in the inner monologs.
Don't get me wrong I love these books I just hate having to skip over so much with each book.

Bella ' s ability to tell a story is amazing

The continuing story of trying to save another world and her inhabitants makes this story so mesmerizing. The evil that is threatening to take over is almost more than GASP and the Shade can handle. Can't wait for 85.

What a whopper!

To some this may have seemed drawn out and I've seen such reviews on here. However, I wholeheartedly disagree,. I feel Bella was setting the stage, carefully crafting each and every chess piece for the final showdown and that ending was breathtaking.
