Hellspawn #6

Hellspawn Retribution

Rate this book
Following the mystifying attack on the castle, suspicion and foreboding pervade the ancient walls. A hidden menace stalks the cold hallways of the fortress and it’s only a matter of time before they strike again. Searching fruitlessly for answers to the bizarre outbreak, Kurt begins to unravel, leaving the strong-willed ladies to take charge. With food running low and nerves fraying, the stakes have never been higher. To the south, a storm is coming. Hombre’s successful recovery of the generator comes with a hidden cost; one which can only be paid in blood. While celebrations ring within the dank prison cells, unseen eyes watch and plot from the shadows of the surrounding countryside. It’s said the dead can’t talk, but when you inadvertently leave a survivor to tell the tale, all bets are off. Claire Hampton has lost both of her beloved sons, murdered by Craig’s right hand man. Only one thing is certain; her retribution will be swift, and utterly without mercy.

WOW! This 6th book in this character driven, emotionally charged series ramps up the action and brings in some new and nasty characters. Can anyone say "KARMA". We have our much loved main group, our favourite military personnel, the prison group and a new group all trying to survive by any means necessary. I highly recommend you pick up this series and the other series written by this talented wordsmith. For lovers of the horror/zombie genre. I can hardly wait for the next book.

Brilliant

Another great book in the series! It's a must read for Zompoc fans. Definitely a change of pace in this book, more about the horrors of humanity rather than the Undead, however it's still as gruesome as ever.

Good from book 1

Ricky Fleet has done a masterful job with this series. You root for the characters from the beginning. Plenty of action but with a deep storyline. Definitely a must read for any zombie fan.
