Around midnight on Ashley’s birthday, Sahil rides his bike berserk on full throttle, frantically running away from everything that meant the world to him, including her. From the panoramic view of his helmet visor, he sees only emptiness ahead, even after having spent the most dazzling moments of his life with her. Unaware of his destiny, he tries to outrun the stint of fate as his dreams come crashing down one by one...
This endearing story about sacrifices and realisations takes you on a spellbinding journey brimming with faith, hope and love, and immediately connects you with Sahil and Ashley, like the iconic Netravati Bridge, that connected them across a river and transported them into a Utopian world of their own.

About the book : ✍️✍️ The book is a novel which is divided into 3 parts. 🌠 I will be Writing about part 1 in this as I truly loved each part.
The story is based on two lovers who loved each other but there love was so pure that they never hurted each other. This is one of the best thing I saw while I was reading the book. Being a reader I want to state few points 💫 The author has tried to explained Manglore to such a great extend that those who don't live in Manglore will fall in love with the beauty of the place it holds. I never knew that Manglore holds such greatness it was a new chapter for me to read about Manglore. The temples are so beautifully definited in this book that brings back the Indian culture. 💫 The author has written 12 chapters in part 1 which revolves around the collage life of Ashley it is a love story filled with love, sacrifice, Fight for love and also self respect. When I started reading The main character Shail was something which made me believe that true love still exist. 💫 The true love is something which is love without any expectations is what I learnt. 💫 Can someone love a person so much that if there is no chance of getting it back then also the person can survive his whole life in his memories is something which made me gain interest in reading the novel that I could not keep it aside !! The curiosity to know more about the story will push you to read till the end. 💫 The language is so simple and lucid. The story is really worth to invest time on. The characters in the story will make you realise that there is no success without sacrifice, what you will love with open heart will always come back. 💫 The strongest message is we should not give up on our hopes. Not every dream should be given one chance. Every failure should be accepted.

Review : This is an outright love story between Sahil and Ashley separated yet joined to each other by a bridge.
The story is divided into 3 parts Part 1 is from Sahil’s point of view his struggles and emotions. Part 2 is entirely written by Ashley’s perspective. The third part tries to bring the story together but it felt too predictable. Positives about the story is the detailing I loved the way the places things and emotions are expressed. Made me fall in love with mangalore. Negatives: Sometimes the conversation between characters was stretched too much it was a downhill at many places, characterisation was good and relatable, plot was predictable. The language was lucid and the chapters flowed easily. Kudos on the poetic lines and quotes 3/5
Sometimes mere falling in love is not enough. Planning a future with each other involves not just two individuals, but in India, also their families and friends. This is a story about Sahil and Ashley who were in love with each other but influenced by family, signs and love. The story revolves around the connection between the Sahil and Ashley and how, just like the netravati bridge, it was not only a way to their dreams but also much more than that.
The story is written in simple language that is easy to grasp by readers of all ages. It is a love story about youngsters to which we all can relate to as we too, sometimes, are unable to decide for ourself what we really want and how we want to achieve it.
A happy beginnings.. perhaps a sordid end; stories unfold,
Some sad.. some with a happy ending,
But again, like always, words fail to express.

Don't want to spoil the reading pleasure so find out yourself want to happen in the end. Did Sahil and Ashely got back together or did they choose a different path?
The cover of this book in magnificent the clouds sky, the yellow bright sun with a train crossing the bridge and a couple watching the view. Simply incredible.

" Some situations in life seem confusing and messy initially, but the same situations later on look beautiful and perfectly scripted. " . It's the story of Sahil and Ashley. Sahil- a mature guy who loves to ride. He is a blogger, works in NGOs & believe in prayer. He also writes beautiful stories. Ashley- an insecure girl who believes in signs. She writes poems & is an artist. The story revolves around their journey of love. Sahil is literally perfect. He does everything and anything for Ashley. In other words he is madly in love with her. He is also mature and caring. Ashley loves him too but the problem is her insecurities. Sometimes she waits for signs, sometimes she is scared of her college friends and family. 10 days before her bday she broke up with him over text without giving him any reason & blocked him. What's the reason behind it ? Did they end up together? Well, to know more you have to read the book.🤷♀️🤷♀️ . Starting with the characters, they are relatable except Ashley. I didn't understand why she blocked him 3-4 times without any reason. She seemed a bit childish. Otherwise the story is real & relatable. The author has done a fabulous job with the character development. I absolutely love the chemistry between Sahi and Ashley. I adore their cute moments together. I appreciate the author for describing the small details really well. After reading the book I got to know about two things really well- bike riding & Mangalore. I never knew Mangalore is so beautiful. The author describes it in such a way that you'll fall in love with the place. Coming to the cover & title of the book- It's simple. Not catchy enough to attract someone instantly. But the cover compliments the title . . 3.5/5 . "I know what my heart wants, but I want clear directions. Dear dream, tell me the name of this 'feeling' Give this bond a new tag & a more deeper meaning. "
What is Love? A true love is a gateway to happiness and unity, true love is to forgive, true love triumphs and only the brave heart can survive.
This story revolves around two protagonist Sahil and Ashley. Sahil is elder to Ashley, he loves road trips, writes blog and posts his travel pics on Instagram. He work with a NGO, to raise awareness. He is a part of HR department and deals with selecting new volunteers. There he came across Ashley.
Ashley loves to write poem, she's a good artist and loves to upload her poem on her Instagram account.
During initial volunteer screening process, they both interacted only through WhatsApp. But something was different, just like a strong connection, that deeply connected them.
Sahil was a friendly guy so it was easy for him to start a conversation but Ashley was different. She belived in signs and Sahil believed in prayers.
Sahil was bad at remembering dates, but Ashley was special, he decided to surprise her on her birthday. He started planning for her special day right from venue, cupcakes, balloons, everything she loved well in advance. He planned to propose her on her birthday.
About 10 days before her birthday, she texted him, it's over and blocked him. Sahil was heartbroken, a single text and his story ended. But he wanted to bid his love a last goodbye. To celebrate her birthday together as he planned.
Ashley loved Sahil deeply. She was waiting for his proposal. What went wrong suddenly? Why did she brokeup? What might be the reason?
Time test the tranquility of bond. Will their love survive? Will Ashley come back? Will Sahil be able to get his love back? Will true love trimphs & their brave heart survive?
It's a story about hope, faith, love, sacrifices, realisations that connect them like an iconic Netravati Bridge.
Saheer's debut novel is a simple story of how two people met, fell in love and faced numerous challenges on the way of finally spending their lives together.
The book is divided into three parts-
Part 1 tells the story of how Sahil (male protagonist) and Ashley (female protagonist) met and their mutual liking grew while spending time around the city, while Ashley dealt with her strict hostel rules.
Part 2, from Ashley's perspective shows her inability to choose her partner due to constraints from her family while Sahil has taken off for a road trip around the country.
Part 3 binds it all together while bringing various characters from different places together, and how Sahil works out a way of finally getting to spend his life with Ashley.
Based in Mangalore, Karnatake, It's a story that many millennials would relate to. Although labelled 'fiction', it seems very real due to extreme detail towards facts and places.
The writing style and language is extremely simple though overdosed with metaphors and poetic expressions.
I constantly felt the urge to unite these two people, and kept on reading to find the mystery of how they end up together.
The Male character's optimism was a charm, even while he dealt with a heartbreak.
This book is about strong beliefs and catching signs from the universe. It shows the journey of putting in efforts in a relationship, overcoming insecurities and nourishing one's talents passions.
I personally do not enjoy reading love stories but I would suggest this book to anyone who does and is looking for a very simple yet engaging story.
My Take: A love story set against the scenic beauty of the Netravati Bridge Mangalore. The author has a way with words. The beautiful description of Mangalore transports you to the place. The bridge is a constant of all good and bad things that happen in this love story.
Ashley and Sahil as different as chalk and cheese come together and take their own time to develop the bond, fall in love. The book is divided in 3 parts. One how they meet, know each other and develop feelings for each other. Sahil's story,Ashley's story and their belief in love and each other and the 3rd part puts all the pieces together into a fitting end to the story.
The book moves at a good pace, characters are neat although I didn't find Ashley very interesting. I mean how's blocking and unblocking someone as per your likes and terms can be love? I really find this amusing that the other person is just left and blocked fending and wondering what went wrong. Agree she had her reasons and they were valid to a point but still just up and left and coming back as per convenience attitude I couldn't digest.
I loved the way Sahil planned her birthday and executed in spite of the breakup and left unanswered. The author has really made a connect with the reader with his descriptive writing and handling the complexities of relationship with ease.
When things seem okey-dokey & bright exactly then and there it takes you down the hill. You can’t predict or pretence life. This story revolves around Sahil and Ashley. Sahil a well-sported guy skips a job soon he graduates and settles with his family business as he loves to be in Mangalore. Ashley from an elite family comes to know Sahil through an NGO. Thus they developed feelings mutually and read more further to know what makes them break up when Sahil plans to throw a surprise party. There it takes an unexpected turn and gets ready to indulge in how emotions trip down the lane?
Saheer romanticizes the cultural variety, diversity of Mangalore with a blend of romance throughout. Good fiction will hit the spot if it carries true substances and facts, I think he acknowledged that hint in this. Three parts with elaborate chapters bring out the subdue emotions rightly encapsulated with faith, love and hope. And I felt at few parts was dragged. Simple or difficult? You gotta decide to devour this read as I can't go into super detail.
What I like about the characters are well dipped in poetry and the language used builds a vivid imagination throughout the read. Authors narrative style did justice to the crux to make it different from the rest. The title and the cover are well suited and complement the rut. All in all, I recommend this to read.
This story is about love of Sahil and Ashley. Sahil, who is a perfect guy any girl want to have in her life. He is so talented, smart, understanding, loving and caring person. He is so fond of travelling and helping people. He meets Ashley through a organisation "Be The Change", who helps little children. Soon, he gets attracted by special talents she has. As the conversation keeps going they start falling for each other. Everything is going well and Sahil is about to propose her on her birthday. Few days before her birthday Ashley break-up with him over a text without giving him any reason. Heartbroken Sahil convinces her for a farewell birthday celebration. After farewell, Ashley find herself guilty for breaking his heart and try to contact him but he is nowhere to be found. . . Author described places so beautifully and descriptively. It will make you feel like visiting the place and experience those beautiful views, foods and atmosphere. The story is simple and nice. Though the book has so many beautiful quotes and poems. I also felt that the conversation between characters are bit streched that made me skip in between, too. Else the story is fine and if you're are a romance lover, go for it. .
Love- sometimes acts as a bridge to unite two people and sometimes to just part their ways. The netravati Bridge is one such story of love that revolves around Sahil and Ashley. Sahil is a blogger who loves road trips while Ashley is a poet. While Sahil works for an NGO, Ashley loves painting. When they meet through a common WhatsApp chat, they feel this was different. Sahil was a get to go guy while Ashley believed in signs.
Both start falling in love when life had things planned for them. And exactly 10 days before Ashley's birthday she walks out of Sahil’s life.
After all, what was the reason behind this??
The title and cover page are at its best.
A pure and wonderful dictation of story that could be felt.
With easily readable language and sequences, it was a good one time read.
THE NETRAVATI BRIDGE: A vein in my heart | A way to my dreams by Saheer Kumble. Stars gave - 5 on 5 stars. My take on the book- We all think books are our friends, right? At least that is what I think and feel in my heart. But imagine reading a story and finding tons of similarities between yourself and a character. And that is what happened when I was reading this book. The protagonist forgets dates, the important ones and not so important ones alike and I forget the ones there in my history book. You see, we peps, who tend to forget stuff do not discriminate. He even is a blogger like me and loves travelling. But that is where our similarities end, for there is a love interest and what happens next is the important thing. I really liked the simple language used in the book and the ever flowing smooth narration was amazing.
The story of Sahil and Ashley falls in love each other.
he loves road trips, writes blog and posts his travel pics on Instagram. He work with a NGO, to raise awareness. He is a part of HR department and deals with selecting new volunteers. There he came across Ashley
Ashley write poem, she too upload her poem on I nstag When he was looking for a person for volunteering he met her and they connected each other and they connected took them next level in this process.
She was waiting for his proposal. What went wrong suddenly? Why did she brokeup? What might be the reason.
To know about this book do grab this and read it.. You will enjoy it As story which should be know connected liked abridge....
To be honest, if you buy the book after reading the news of latest tragedy of CCD CEO at Netravati Bridge this summer 2019, then you did not certainly waste your money. The book tried to touch the emotional aspect of life of 2 individuals, though not tragic but touching a little.
The story is quite fascinating and the language been quite lucid. The story revolves around the emotions of dwellers in this present rat race world. The kinda couple , Ashley and Sahil were very attractive in the beginning but the capture of magic lost its touch compared to the way the author tells the story. I really hate putting spoilers while expressing my pleasure in the story but still can't stop appreciating the storytelling in the book. Not extremely unique but not exactly Bolly style. Nice read itself.
The story is a love one in which Sahil falls in love with Ashley. He came across her in his workplace. He works in a NGO in HR department. When he fell in love with his colleague he didn't know.
I loved the guy's character , he is a blogger who posts pics of his road trips. He was an amazing and adventerous person.
They both fell in love with each other but after sometime Ashley said no to him and also blocked him.
What was the reason for it.? For knowing it please read the book
The Netravati bridge by Saheer Kumble is indeed an ethical love story about Sahil and Ashley. It’s also a story woven around the periphery of modern scenario.Such that the couplet started their love story from social media, firstly they’ve started their friendship through WhatsApp and meanwhile threir friendship turned to be a true love but that’s not what this creation consists about, it certainly has an inordinate ending but you’re likely to get goosebumps as you get to know what’s next. I must suggest this debut novel of Saheer for love story junkies because this one’s really does have an different effect and deep emotions.
I picked up this book few days back and I took time to read it. This is a beautiful story which revolves around Sahil and Ashley. Both the characters are very strong during narrations of the story and leaves an impact on our mind. These are new age characters which can be easily related by us. Both fall in love for each other but when things were planned to be settled down. Major twist in plot comes which gives a new angle to the story. I loved now author has penned down different emotions beautifully. The language is simple and easy flowing. Would definitely recommend to romance fiction lovers to read it.
Took me time to complete the book but I loved it. This story revolves around two protagonist Sahil and Ashley. Sahil is elder he loves road trips, writes blog and posts his travel pics on Instagram. Ashley loves to write poem, she's a good artist and loves to upload her poem on her Instagram account. And something was different, and they felt a strong connection but soon after before Sahil was about to propose her she broke up with him. Now, you will love the concept about the book alot it seeks for undivate attention from the beginning of the book. The development of the characters was wonderful. It's a must read.
A cute and we'll knitted love story between Sahil and Ashley. It's interesting how social media also served them a lot to know each other. One can undoubtedly admire the author's depiction of scenic beauty and especially the portrayal of the beautiful city of Mangalore. The title and the cover page of the book are too catchy and impressive.
But I personally think there is some lag which can be averted to look much better.
A very good written story...love story. Though i am not a ethusiast romance reader, this book got my attention and i really liked the first half of the book where Sahil met Ashley. But then the story was a little monotonus in the middle and the ending was a little underwhelming.
I like the characterization. The characters were written smoothly.
The prenise was good and the execution of the plot could have been better.
