In the final book in the Unknown Kadath Estates Trilogy, Preston, April, and their fellow residents of the Estates must contend with the reunited Diem sisters, the reopened Grand Voynich, and the return of old ghosts and enemies. The Nameless City is never dull, but that doesn't mean that three functionally immortal witches don't get bored. The witchy Diem sisters, energized by the return of eldest sister Constance, are inspired to revive one of their old haunts, the venerable and posh Grand Voynich, once the finest hotel in the Nameless City and a social institution, but now part of the abandoned Empty District. Naturally, a party is planned to mark the occasion, and the guest list includes Preston, April, and nearly all of their neighbors and associates, friendly or otherwise. Nothing in the Nameless City is ever quite what it seems, however, Preston Tauschen and April Ersten included, and a party hosted by witches in a lost and ancient hotel is bound to be a dramatic affair. Pinned between a past that is rapidly catching up with them and a future that looks increasingly uncertain, Preston and April will have to contend with monstrous lawyers, talking cats, cosmic horrors, fancy dress, and at least one murderer if they want to survive the weekend and escape the Nameless City - and the long shadow of the Institute - once and for all. Zachary Rawlins lives in Oakland, California, with his amazing wife Chloe and his genius Corgi, Ein. During the day, he works in the Environmental industry. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, comic books, urban exploring, and writing. To date, much of his work has been in two novel series, as well as a variety of other side projects.

Combining elements of the Cthulhu Mythos, chemically induced psychosis, magical realism, and black humor, the novel features cover and illustrations by artist Xi Lu.
