July 2019 This document describes the AWS Well-Architected Framework, which enables you to review and improve your cloud-based architectures and better understand the business impact of your design decisions. We address general design principles as well as specific best practices and guidance in five conceptual areas that we define as the pillars of the Well-Architected Framework. This documentation is offered for free here as a Kindle book, or you can read it in PDF format at https://aws.amazon.com/whitepapers/.
Reading The Well Architected Framework is maybe just a rite of passage. Truth be told, it very possibly was elevated in my head to something beyond reasonable. I was hoping to see more concrete patterns discussed. Nevertheless, the guidelines here are fantastic and I made many a note.
Text has some formatting issues in the Kindle Version
The content overall is good (Sometimes repetitive, but that's a good thing) and provides a high level of abstraction on the Well-Architected Framework, but there are some issues with the format in the Kindle version (Unspaced words, sudden line breaks, etc)
