You will have to click to find out for yourself!
This book really felt like a Beauty & the Beast read because let me tell you that Luca became an unbearable beast at times & Cassie’s patience and kindness always seemed to sooth is beast within him. Oh, and Dom- I loved him because of his loyalty but his softness despite being Luca’s right hand man. I will be patiently waiting for Dom’s story! Kara~ 5 Stars
** First read of this author and it was amazing!
From the minute I began reading I knew this was a story I was going to get lost in. Cassie’s situation gripped my heart and Luca’s well, his just broke it…
Cassie’s life had been a struggle but with her brother, she had a family. They hadn’t done anything wrong but they were paying the price. As the world seemed to turn against them, she was happy for the few who reached out but she needed a miracle…
Luca was hiding. From himself, from the world. The scars he bore were a reflection of the shame and guilt he carried inside. He was dying, one alcohol-soaked moment at a time… Until she came to his home.
This is a love story set in the world of mafia, of famiglia. Not as dark or gritty as some, but honestly I didn’t miss it a bit as this read had all the emotional beats I could have asked for. The sparks between Luca and Cassie grew higher and higher as he pushed and she pulled all the way to… love… and the secondary characters? They were wonderful in their own right. Dom was steadfast as he quickly became Cassie’s best friend too, adding humour and heart at every turn.
A great read and only the first in the series – yippee!! ~Diane, 4.5 stars
“A Villain can be a Hero, just like every Hero can be a Villain, it’s all about the situation you are in.”
“We all have scars, visible or not. But it’s our choice if we let them define us.”
Who follows me on here or on Bookstagram knows I’m a big R.G. Angel fan. I loved all of her books, no matter the genre and this, a Mafia Romance, is no exception...
So where to start?
CHARACTERS:
Cassie: heroine: beautiful, strong, woman, who’s not afraid to go above and beyond limits for the people she loves.
Jude: sweet, smart baby boy, who will melt your heart. (He made me cry)
Luca: hero: dangerous lifestyle, a beast, rough on the outside but a heart of gold on the inside.
STORY:
The start is very mysterious and gave me ‘Beauty and the Beast’ vibes. The story lines are well done and captivating, it’s a page turner. The wording is yet again amazing and full of meaning. R.G. Angel, I’m telling you, you are a word wizard! 🥳
There are also some *steamy* scenes in the book and I would consider it a medium burn, not slow but not fast either. I felt like there was a natural evolution of events and it didn’t miss any important parts or wasn’t rushed.
CONCLUSION:
This book is another winner for sure! 😍
BTW, where did she get all that mafia intel? Should I be scared?! 😱😱
*Thank you for letting me BETA read this newest release*
Cassie West has more burdens on her small shoulders than a 20 year old needs. With parents like hers you don’t need enemies! The fact that she has had to quit nursing school, has no real home to call her own and has had her 10 year old brother taken into custody by Child Services, yet she knows to get her brother Jude back she needs to find a job and hopefully she will get him back.
Luca Montanari has one wish, that his next breath would be his last. Between the grief he carries for an accident he believes he caused, depression and his current pleasure of alcohol, it seems he has pretty much given up.
Then Cassie West comes to work for him as his housekeeper. His rules are upended, he keeps out of her way (lord knows if nothing else the scars will scare her off) and he is beginning to become obsessed with her. They shouldn’t become friends, he is a broken mafia prince and she is woman who needs someone to just give her a chance.
Broken Prince was not at all what I expected, it was more far more. R.G. Angel took these two lost souls and put them together and over time barriers for both were lowered and light started to grow in each of them. With a sweet 10 year old that kept Cassie on her toes and gave Luca someone to mentor, these characters grew and began to heal. Then there is Dom, the head of Luca’s security team, Luca’s best friend, the person that had been there for him and the man who knew that Cassie was the one that would heal Luca.
There were roadblocks for both Luca and Cassie to figure out, there was a mystery that Dom was working on and there was a sexual attraction between Cassie and Luca that ignited and lead to hot and steamy encounters. As Dom digs deeper into Luca’s accident and Luca steps up to resume his job as Cappo; family members will threaten Cassie and Luca’s well being and there will be a reckoning. Broken Prince was well written and was an enjoyable read.

I promised myself that I would read more R.G's books and here we are!
A mafia retelling of beauty and the beast. I went into this blind and pretty much unaware this was a retelling of sorts.
We meet Luca who was the former Capo, he has since become a recluse and refuses to interact with anyone other than one or two people. He is suffering from depression, PTSD, and rage after being the cause of the accident that killed his younger sister and mother.
Cassie is dealing with her own issues; her parents were just convicted of being serial killers. They not only schemed to get elderly people’s money but would kill them just to make sure they were not caught. She has a younger brother, Jude who is 10 years old and was taken away to live in a home. Cassie is desperate to get him back but with the prejudice of the small town about her parent’s murders and their views on her being related to them, nobody wants to give her a job or be associated with her.
She needs a job quick in order to be able to apply to get her brother back to her, so she desperately accepts a high paying job that has had 6 other maids in the last 2 months? It seems like a pretty simple job with a few rules: Do not enter the second floor, do not interact with the owner without being talked to first.
Both of which she follows until Luca starts being interested in her and despite how he is starting to feel, he can't help but show her his beast side. Figuratively and literally. He was scarred from the accident, and he has let be swallowed by the darkness that consumes him.
These two slowly fall for each other and this is a slow burn as they do not get together until way past the halfway mark.
If you are looking for a big mafia boss who is larger than life then this might not be it, we have a broken prince who is drinking away his pain and feels like he is not deserving of love or kindness, or even the breath he breaths.
We find out that the accident was not because of Luca but his uncle who took over the Capo title after Luca left...I will say this was not shocking. What intrigue me more was Dom and Matteo and needing their stories.
Dom (book 2) who is best friends/right hand man to Luca is a mystery on his own. He has a past, and it is one hell of a past.
Matteo the King (book 3) hates love and believes it is poison lol so this will be fun to see how he gets taken down by a woman.
These books can technically be read as a standalone BUT there is a connecting side plot line that I think everyone should follow!
This has some definite Beauty and The Beast vibes. I’m not sure if it’s a retelling or not but it definitely comes across as one if it isn’t, but with a twist. But I’m not mad at it, I freaking loved it. . For some reason, the title had me thinking it was a high school bully romance. I didn’t read the blurb till after reading the book so, you can imagine my surprise, but I loved it. I don’t know why I didn’t connect the dots that Angel has a book that’s a prequel to this but that’s my bad for not doing research, but I’m notorious for not reading blurbs and just diving in. I love the surprise I get with discovering new authors worlds and this was no exception. . I loved the characters, I would have liked to see more of Luca’s domineering or even cruel side but I enjoyed him either way. Definitely a sweet yet mysterious read. Some dark undertones that I enjoyed and implications of darker things coming for other characters, I cannot wait. Both has an incredible journey and even with the mafia world had a wholesome feel especially the first 80% and I swooned for their story. I dreaded getting closer to that ending but I’m so glad there will be a book 2 and we will see cameos of Luca and Cassie in Dom’s book, at least I hope so. . Their connection and chemistry was undeniable. The quiet strength of Cassie and protective yet vulnerable Luca made for an interesting pair. Both were each other’s balance and were engaging to read. This was an intriguing word of darkness and light with the fairytale feels and mafia tones. It was an interesting mix and yet it worked. I loved diving into this world. . I cannot wait to see the direction of the following books in the series. I would have to say just for personal preference, I would have liked more of a build up with the mystery aspect and the showdown scene to pack a bit more punch and suspense but otherwise I still really enjoyed this.
Brilliant 🖤 I devoured Broken Prince in 1 sitting. It captivated me.
You definitely get some Beauty/Beast vibes.
Cassie knows heartache, she’s desperate to be reunited with her brother. Luca is in hiding. Over time Cassie brings Luca out of his self imposed isolation. I love how selfless she is. I love how dark Luca is. They work and their journey is beautiful. And those scenes 🔥🔥🔥
Cassie West’s life is spiraling out of her control. At 21, her parents are in jail for a series of heinous crimes, she has to drop out of school, and her brother was just put in foster care. It’s not that she’s unwilling to take care of him, but rather the fact that no one wants to hire the daughter of two notorious criminals, and she needs to be able to financially support him. So when the opportunity comes up to take a job as a live in housekeeper for a hard to place client, the wage is high enough for her to jump at the opportunity. If she can only survive her surly boss.
Luca Montanari is a man wallowing in a nightmare. It’s been two years since the accident that left him disfigured. Two years after death of his mother and his beloved younger sister, the accident for which he was responsible. During this time, he has been on hiatus as capo while his uncle has been working in his staid. The last thing he expects is for his new housekeeper, 11 years his junior, to pull him from his abyss and help him feel again. But the past may not be as it first seems and Luca will reassert himself as Capo to make sure Cassie stays safe while uncovering the truths of the past.
This was my first R.G. Angel book and I really liked it! I thought the writing was really eclectic. It reminded me of both my favorite flowery old romances combined with almost a YA flare… but it really works! The dialogue was witty and had some nice laugh out loud moments. The story moved along nicely and was probably a medium burn. The chemistry between the Cassie and Luca was awesome and the smexy times hot. There were plenty of twists and turns to keep you interested until the end. The side characters were WONDERFUL and made me super excited to read their stories as well. Overall, a great read!
Broken Prince by R.G. Angel is a dark mafia romance. It's the first book from the Cosa Nostra series.
Gianluca Montanari was the underboss of the East Coast's most powerful Mafia family. After a horrible accident, he became a recluse. For the last two years, he lived in the Hartfield Manor. He was in need of a full-time live-in housekeeper. Cassandra and Jude west were the children of the Rivertown Murderers. When their parents got arrested her brother was taken by the social services and she was left behind to find a way to get her brother back. Because of the stigma, their name carried no one was hiring her. Her last chance was the Hartfield Manor. She was hired immediately with a good paycheck, she only had to follow some rules and soon she'd have enough money and a home so she could take Jude. Her living situation there was a bit weird to her but she was ok. Her life changed the minute she got to know her employer, the beast. His hot and cold attitude confused her but once she broke down his walls she saw behind his facade. She saved him from self-destruction and gave him a reason to live, he showed her love and helped her with her brother. For their first time in their lives, they were truly happy.
I know this is supposed to be a dark romance but their story was so cute. It gives strong fairytale vibes specifically Beauty and the Beast. The plot is simple and easy to follow. There is a lot of romance, steamy scenes, and a little bit of mystery. Since it's part of a series we are left with some unanswered questions. I liked how their romantic relationship bloomed and the part Dom played in everything. The whole thing was more rom-com than dark but I enjoyed it thoroughly. The characters were entertaining and so different. Cassie was the light and Luca the darkness. You can't have the one without the other.
In conclusion, Broken Prince is an incredible mafia story that I highly recommend you to read. I will be waiting for Dom's story and my questions to be answered. I will rate it with 4.5 stars.
In all my life as a reader, and I have read thousands of books, only 3 writers had the power to make me skip work day to read a book of theirs I am happy to add Ms R.G. Angel to this VERY EXCLUSIVE BOOK CLUB
This Romance (and it is a romance more than a Mafia romance) insipred by Beauty and the Beast had me in a chock hold. I could not put the book down. from the very first page to the ending, you are enamoured by the beautiful chemistry between Luca and Cassie - how the Beauty with her kindness and strenght tamed and revived the Beast.
we all have scars, some are out there, on your slin like an armor - a proof of your struggle. But some, the most vicious and destroying of all, are internal and they grow, fester
Cassie overlooked the Luca's physical scars and worked on his inner one to bring out the man that he is supposed to be. and this is what a strong character is able to do
i especially loved the subtle spice scenes here. you get like very minimum. it is not thrown haphazerdly, like other books do to sell as smut. it is there when it is needed. but amongst these pages, a scene stood out to me and here I should warn you that there may be spoilers
Cassie was a virgin, and in the midst of their hot foreplay, she tells Luca that and of course he freaks out and leaves. this is not a new scenes, but usually the aftermath, the girls is heartbroken fealing the rejection and somehow guilts the male to grovel or apologize but Cassie says to him when he tried to apologize the next day , although she was feeling a bit rejected, "you've done nothing wrong> We all have the right to change our minds" and I love the lack of double standrads the author is presenting here. Men, like women, should have the choice to say No and to change their minds.
anyways, I loved loved loved this book and after the shitty romance books I've read so far, I am happy to find a book that made my heart flutter
I absolutely loved this book and found it difficult to put down, even with a headache! This romance between Cassie and Luca is not a light walk in the park but gritty and full of depth.
Both lead characters share the telling of the story and through their points of view we gain a more insightful look into their background and what makes them—them! I liked both Cassie and Luca, even though I wanted to give Luca a clip over the ear at times. 😆 I loved the way Cassie’s strength and confidence grew and shone out as well as her beautiful nature. Luca also saw himself very differently to what we readers, as well as Cassie and Dom, could see. However, this made him even more special in my eyes.
Detailed descriptions helped to paint vivid images of the scenes as well as the characters and made it easy to mentally visualize the story as it progressed. Although the book had some darker elements, and murder can’t get any darker really, it also had some great humor sprinkled throughout it, especially the one-liners from Dom with his very dry wit.
I am definitely going to be on the lookout for Dom’s book, the sequel to this one, I can’t wait!
Cassandra aka Cassie has been taking care of herself and her brother Jude for a long time. Her parents are of no help and with what happens, Jude is in social services care and Cassie needs to get her ducks in a row fast! She takes a job at a temp agency and unknowingly steps into her future by taking a job NOBODY else wants or lasts very long at it. Cassie will do anything to get Jude back in her care.
Luca is haunted by a traumatic event in his past. He hides and drinks his pain away. He doesn’t expect the amazing Cassie to come into his life and how unaware she is of how she’ll make it better, step by step.
Cassie is beautiful, has an amazing heart, loves fiercely, is smart, is determined and just might steal the heart of a beast.
Luca is haunted and in pain but so strong, cunning and smart/methodical. He’s a great leader but has been through so much pain, he’s in denial and kind of gives up.
These two aren’t expecting the other and what they will bring to the table together for each other. I’m so in love with this book. It’s my first book by R.G. Angel and I absolutely can’t wait for the next one (Dom’s story)!!! I love this Mafia fairytale retelling of Beauty and the Beast and would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

TROPES: ~mafia ~beauty and the beast retelling ~slow burn ~grumpy/sunshine
"I'll never regret meeting you. Because you showed me that even a sinner like me could love, that despite everything I was not dead inside, that my heart could still feel, and just for that it had been all worth it."
Wow, this book completely entranced me. It's a beauty and the beast retelling (my favorite!) and it was oh so good. I won't get into details, but I love the background history for the hero and the heroine! I've never read a book like this.
SAFETY: Ages: 20h, 32H Virgin/celibate: virgin heroine, celibate hero OM/OW drama: none Cheating/sharing: none Triggers: parental neglect, violence/death (not main characters) Kinks: good girl/praise, public sex, dirty talk, dry hump, rough sex HEA?: yes!
An age-gap, beauty and the beast mafia romance! (Age gap is 12yrs)
This was such a unique feeling mafia romance and it really stood out to me—plus I’m always a sucker for a scarred hero.
Now—It took me 30% to really get into the story. i almost put it down at the 20% but luckily i kept going because after that point is was smooth sailing and swoon city.
Cassie and Luca have a slowburn relationship and i loved watching it progress because you could clearly see them falling. Luca is so afraid to love Cassie because he feels responsible for an accident many years earlier and also feels as though the scars on his face make him unloveable. But Cassie’s warmth seeps into his heart and begins to melt his icy ways. (Also his relationship with her younger brother was TOO CUTE AH!)
Cassie was also training to be a nurse before her life went to shit, and it was cool to see her actually use her nursing knowledge in this book!! She was a very different mafia heroine to read about because while she was an outsider to the mafia, she came from a horrible upbringing. Cassie was the light to Luca’s dark and she really was his beacon of hope.
Cassie’s friendship with Dom was one of my favourites, too. Their interactions had me howling and the way Dom would tease and meddle in Cassie & Luca’s relationship was priceless. I cannot wait to see Dom fall in love.
The mafia aspect of this book takes a while to get going due to Luca being a self-imposed recluse from the family and his role as Capo. I would say the mafia-ness picks up around 50% in.
I cannot WAIT to continue on with this series because i love both the heroes and need to know how the plot continues.
Finally a quote: “You are a villain,” I agreed. “But a villain can always be the hero in someone’s story… Just like the hero can be the villain in someone’s story. It’s all about perspectives.”
Anzi, vi affezionerete come me al principe distrutto.

This was a really enjoyable read I’ve read one book by this author previous so I already knew I liked their writing style and I liked this one equally. Genre wise I’d describe this as a contemporary slight age-gap employer romance. It’s set in the mafia world so has undertones of this and also has a delicious beauty and the beast type vibe also. Here Cassandra west goes to work as a housekeeper for a reclusive mysterious male. She’s desperate and needs the job so despite being told of how her new potential employer has scared many others away and with few other options she takes a chance.
There are rules to follow and her new boss is very private hiding away from Cassie on the forbidden second floor as he wallows in his grief. Due to a tragedy that he blames himself for Gianluca Montanari former capo spends his day drinking and hating himself. He’s scarred from the events that still torture him and cause him to push away everyone who cares about him. Cassie’s entrance into his life is like a breath of fresh air and as Luca slowly opens up to her he finds himself caring about her more than he wants to. The walls he’s built up come tumbling down and despite knowing he’s no good for her she’s all he really wants. Cassie is the catalyst Luca needs to return to his life.
There are other things going on here Cassie’s younger brother who she is practically a mother to and also Luca fighting his feelings initially trying to protect his slowly thawing heart as well as misplaced chivalry towards Cassie as he thinks he’s no good for her. The age difference isn’t a massive one Cassie is nearly twenty-one to Luca’s thirty-two but in life experience and darkness, the two are worlds apart. This really was a sweet romance and I especially adored Cassie’s bond with Dom who is Luca’s best friend and head of security.
This finished with a few questions still needing answers not regarding the romance that was all resolved but parts of the bigger picture. There are still two more books to come and Dom is up next which I’m looking forward to. I definitely recommend this it’s well written and easily kept my attention.
DNF@ 40% - this is a super boring Beauty and the Beast retelling. The h is 20, has taken a few nursing classes. I stopped reading when she goes in to full on trauma dr mode, when she's only got very limited time in nursing school. Its was OTT silly. The H is just a whiny baby. Nothing scary about him. I was hoping for more grit, since he's supposed to be connected to the mafia, but nah. He's a sad-sack dud. No alpha here. She should run off with his bodyguard. He's way more interesting.

Broken Prince is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time! It was phenomenal, from start to finish. I’ve been struggling to read lately; books just aren’t holding my attention. Well, problem solved. I couldn’t put this book down, and when I did put it down, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. My only complaint is that I ran out of pages. *sob*
Cassie is such a ray of sunshine. She’s smart, kind, open, and caring to a fault. My heart broke, seeing such a good person struggling with blow after blow from life. Luca is broken, and yet despite his “bark,” it is clear to me what a decent man he was. He just needed Cassie to draw him back into the light. *sigh*
The plot was steady and unique. It was like a modern Beauty & The Beast tale, set within the world of the mafia. If you are a fan of fairy tales or mafia romances, this is one to add to your library for sure!
Broken Prince is book one of the Cosa Nostra series. I can’t wait for book two to come out this summer! In the meantime, I discovered that there is a prequel, and I am jumping right in!
I loved Cassie and Lucas story! This author is one of my favorite one click and this story is a prime example of why ! I love her bully romances but she nailed it with her new mafia romance! I loved the main characters the side characters the plot the storyline this was overall a fast paced easy to read fantastic story the writing is amazing it gave me beauty and the beast fairytale vibes and the chemistry between Cassie and Lucas was super hot and intense this was such a good story. I can’t wait to see what happens next! Definite must read from one of my favorite authors!
I've been reading a ton of mafia romance these days, so trust me when I say that Broken Prince is 100% original for this type of book. Cassie is a young woman who is doing her best to get her younger brother out of the system, and that means that she has to find a job immediately which is how she ends up as Luca's live-in housekeeper. He's a tortured soul, and the rumor is that he's cursed so no one wants the job, but Cassie is just the perfect person for it since she's not scared of him. He can be a total beast as he's wallowing in a lot of guilt, and it's a big reason why he's become a recluse, but something about her spirit actually brings peace to his. However, with the light that Cassie is bringing to his dark world, he decides to come out of hiding to take his rightful place again, which doesn't make some people happy. Broken Prince is a very addictive read that is impossible to put down once I picked up since I needed to know how it all played out. With twists that get the f-bombs dropping, the palpable pain, the light of Cassie, heat, and the secondaries, this story was amazing that everyone needs to experience! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Whoa. What a story and those characters! I was not expecting that.
R.G. Angel is a brand spanking new to me author and this is quite the way to be introduced y'all. I really, really liked this mafia romance with a Beauty and the Beast twist to it. Sexy, swoony, intense, unputdownable. This one packed a serious punch to the heart in moments and had me flipping this pages fast in others.
Broken Prince, the first in a new series, hooked me by just a few chapters in and didn't let go until long after it was over. Cassie and Luca were everything in a whole lot of complicated, addicting ways y'all and my heart. Gahhhhh, all the feels. Just wait until you meet these two and there whole lot of crew.
That blurb might have brought me in at the start, but those words had me staying until the very. last. one.
I'm definitely ready for the next book (Dom!) in the Cosa Nostra series.
This author has just proven how talented she is, being able to write amazing books under different genres. It's a skill not many have. I loved her bully books but this was on a whole other level. Both characters and plot ensared me from cover to cover, making it impossible to look away. The main characters were two people, beautifully broken by different things, but together they became whole and made each other stronger. I adored the secondary characters just as much, and now that things have changed, I look forward to seeing what happens next in the aftermath of that. Bring on the next book, I can't wait!!
This is a fantastic modern twist on Beauty and The Beast. With great characters that will have you falling in love with this book has been written very well. I love that there is more to come but it doesn’t feel like a cliffhanger.
Broken Prince is a mafia spin on Beauty and the Beast.
Mafia is my absolute favorite trope, and I was excited to find this new to me author and mafia series.
Unfortunately that feeling didn’t last long. The beginning I felt was slow, but was hoping it would have a faster pace.
That didn’t happen, Cassie shows up to a mansion up in the mountains to become a house manager.
There are some pretty strict rules at her new job, and all of them boil down to her having little to no interaction with her boss. There is a way for her to message him if she needed to, and of course she did for reasons she wasn’t supposed to, but it is what began the initial connection between them.
To put it bluntly their interactions were boring. There were a few times that Cassie had a few sassy or witty lines, but it was just that, a line or two.
Luca had a scar on his face, and because of that and the events surrounding him receiving it, he became a recluse. The only person that was still in his life was his bodyguard, and from things mentioned he was also his best friend before Luca closed off from everyone.
For a mafia book, I found Luca to be lacking, but especially to think it possible for him to be the head of the family. He was too soft, and even in times when he was meant to be an imposing force it seemed forced.
I love being lost inside a fictional world, but the thing is that the world the author creates has to be believable, not in regards to “real life” but in the sense that the characters and story need to pull you in and keep you immersed inside by making everything you’re reading feel “real”. Whether it’s werewolves, royalty, or mafia, the world created needs to be written in a way that makes the reader “believe” it while they’re wrapped up in the pages.
That wasn’t what I felt while reading Broken Prince. None of the characters really had any personality or endearing qualities, they were drab and boring. The only type of development was Luca no longer being a recluse.
If you are a lover of mafia romance like me, I would think twice about this particular read. This isn’t an alpha anti-hero in mafia romance. Luca is tame, and even when he tries to be alpha it’s hard to believe since in all the other parts he’s certainly not giving off an alpha vibe.
Aside from the storyline there were also sentences that didn’t make any sense, ones that were worded so oddly I had to read it several times to try and decipher the meaning. There were many times that the author should have used contractions, and it was quite obvious that this author doesn’t reside in the US, where the setting of the book takes place.
I am a new fan of R.G Angel and she has not disappoint!!
Cassie & her brother Jude (10 years old) are stuck with the shadow of their Parents embezzle money. My heart broke for cause she passionate to be a nurse and this this scandle they let her go and Jude bullied and taken away from her. This is why she is working for a Beast as a cleaning lady and it's her humming that catch his attention
"bring it on, beast; this girl can take it"
Jude I love him he was diagnosed with low levels of autistic & words & books helped him cope with it. A 10 year old who even loves scrabble and he tells Cassie what it means. I was happy that he is at a new school and has friends
Luca who lost everything is title in the mafia world and his dad. However he is still mafia Prince he just doesn't want anything to with it anymore. Which cause him to become isolated and the accident on top of it. But he does not care who rules the famiglia. There is a few mysteries and on is Arabella. Don't worry we learn a more about his past...
This one made me smile. They even argued about pineapple on a prizza. It one of those questions that's splits everyone up haha guess who in this book ordered the pineapple pizza? You will be shocked !!
Their romance is Beauty & The Beast Retelling. We have a library & a garden to bring back to life. They are enemies to lovers but they do have these a little text moments when am like they are getting there and they weren't enemies for long, then friend then 🔥❤ it was nicely paced in my eyes
Absolutely a page turner for me, couldn't put this one down. Was drawn in with the storyline and the two amazing main characters. The way that these to come to meet one another was totally putting together two total opposites which was Luca Montanari and Cassie West.
Cassie is totally dead set on getting her baby brother back and she wasn't letting anyone or anything stand in her way after her and her little brother were separated by the system because their parents were total monsters and they took her brother out of her life because they felt Cassie was a part of what her parents were doing.
Luca is a Capo who lost it all his parents and his baby sister and he felt responsible for his mom and sister dying, all he wants is to drink himself to death to forget what he felt he was a part of destroying. Before this tragic set of events, he was powerful, feared and had it all, till one tragic accident took everything even his will to live.
Luca is not going to stand between Cassie getting her world back and that is her brother. Will she lose everything? Or gain everything? Can she get the man everyone thinks is a monster to stop hiding behind his scars and show the world he can be powerful again? This author gives you so many emotions there is love, hate, greed and so many twists and turns.
This is the first book in this series by this author and the first and the first book that I've read from then and I wasn't disappointed one bit. This is the story of Luca and Cassie, these characters are perfect for each and you will fall in love with there relationship as you read. This is a mafia story but a lot less lighter on the mafia front more a romance. This story relates to beauty and beast story through out. This is a well written story line with very likeable characters.
