Like, a kind of normal bisexual threesome book? by far the most traditional of all the Chuck Tingles I've read. Just a sort of nice PWP short story. I think I genuinely liked it?? What is happening...
I'm not really sure what I expected, but this poorly-written smut is PURE GOLD! I always knew Mothman was vers, and I'm glad Dr. Tingle confirmed it for me.
i somehow got a second book with this of a polyhedral dice orgy??? both were fine i guess. i read this truly and only because my friend sent me a tiktok and asked me to read it and i almost never say no to weird sex books. fascinating.
You might be wondering why I put this as audiobook I'm at work and had one of my bestfriends read this to me, therefore...audio book. 🤣 Honestly it was funny and not poorly written. I think I'll get more of his books.
NOT ONLY WAS I LAUGHING BUT WHY WAS IT KINDA GOOD? Mothman go CRAZY with the MARRIED COUPLE?? I’m not gonna pretend it wasn’t peak literature. I’m literally dead. Great. It’s was great.
In 2023, the economy is in the toilet. Real estate and rent is going up, up, up; credit card companies are charging APRs that no one can easily pay off without an under-the-table (read: criminal) side hustle, and groceries are steadily increasing, as well. Happily, Chuck Tingle's quantity-over-quality assault on normalcy continues to be extremely reasonably priced.
Enter: Bisexual Mothman Mailman Makes A Special Delivery in Our Butts. 37 pages, 2 stories, 1 mothman, 7 horny polyhedral RPG dice, 2 human males, 1 human female: however you do the math, inevitably the sum/product/difference/quotient is going to equal FUN. Tingle distracts you from the heaviness of our sh** world with good natured, consensual, FREAKY sexcapades. I laughed. I rolled my eyes. I finished the book in less than an hour.
You might not be able to talk to your coworkers about BMMMASDiOB without earning a trip to HR, but Chuck will still make the grind a lot more bearable.
Bisexual Mothman Mailman Makes a Special Delivery in Our Butts by Chuck Tingle showed up as a recommended read (I guess because I recently read a Chuck Tingle novel). The title made me laugh, I like Mothman, it was just a few dollars, and I thought “why not?”. This moves quickly, with very little plot. I did laugh at all the puns about packages. I thought it was odd that around halfway through, we switch to a different story and never see or hear from Mothman again. This has a lot of editorial issues, with typos and incorrect grammar. For me this is 2/5 stars. I’ll stick to Chuck Tingle’s horror stories. I think, for instance, Hallowpeen by Holly Wilde is more fun. But who doesn’t need some Mothman mailman action as a palate cleanser between books?
I’ve never read Chuck Tingle, but a friend shared the cover of this erotic story, and I had to know more. In the main story, the author and his sexy wife attempt to seduce their mail carrier who is also a sexy mothman. It’s absurd and funny and sexy, and I loved it. Then, we got a preview of a story where a handsome roleplayer meets a bunch of sexy sentient dice and learns that a bisexual orgy is the best way to get them to roll better numbers. I can’t believe these stories were so fun, really encouraging us to laugh and challenging our imaginations. The last few pages were a list of increasingly silly erotica titles, most of which look weird enough to be worth it!
Four friends. One reading, three making commentary, one of which would rather we not. This one was read in public which made it all that much wilder and hilarious.
This was short, hilarious, and not that great. The side commentary greatly improved the story.
As is typical with unhinged book club, these books are best read out loud with your weirdest friends.
It was amusing, but also… It’s actually only 11 pages, not the 37 it says on Amazon. 11 more pages are a bonus story, and then a whopping 15 pages of lists of Tingle’s other works.
I never thought I’d say this, but I need more mothman mailman schlong to really feel like I got my money’s worth.
I think my favorite line was “Indrid could make his rounds much faster with the use of his wings, but he’s required to drive the mail truck for advertising purposes.”
