This is a self-help book that primarily aims at mental, spiritual and physical balance. The book helps the readers in introspection. It contains answers to several questions that one in his/her lifetime seeks for. It briefly answers several questions such as how to set a vision, how to stay healthy both physically and mentally for a long time, etc.
There are mainly four chapters in the book which are further subdivided. Below I am providing a gist of the chapters:
1. The first chapter is subdivided into 3 topics: a. Importance of brain and the influence of neurotransmitters. Ways to increase the performance of the brain. b. Ageing process and how to avoid ageing. The blue zones. c. Nutrition and its role. When and how to eat.
2. The second chapter talks about the following five topics: a. Importance of emotional balance. b. Meditation - its importance, types and techniques. c. Hypnotherapy. d. Gratitude. e. Spirituality.
3. The third chapter focuses on the importance of sound sleep; Types of sleep, factors affecting and its effects.
4. The fourth chapter is again divided into three: a. Importance of travelling from a physiological point of view. b. Benefits of reading. c. Traits of a quality lifestyle.
The book ties up vital topics that we often ignore. The language of the book is comprehensive enough. It is not philosophical only but also explains the scientific reasons. Every chapter begins with famous quotes from great personalities. At the end of each chapter, there is a list of 'food to be consumed', 'books to be explored' and a 'things to do' list. This helps in revising the chapters. The book doesn't feel to be preachy as the tips given are reasonable.

Books is just one of the many topics like Brain, Health, Meditation, Yoga , EQ, Gratitude, Happiness that the author touches upon in his debut book. I would like to call this book as an all-in-one book or a one stop centre for all your personal development needs.
It talks about goals and goal setting, the right systems to put in place, meditation and yoga, the brain, health and superfoods, travel, morning routines and what not.
The interviews with sector experts at the end of some chapters are like cherry on the top. The interview with Emily Maroutian regarding Emotional Intelligence was my favourite out of all the interview sections.
I was pleasantly surprised to find chapters on hypnotherapy and spirituality making the book perfect for anyone starting on the journey of holistic personal development.
I also loved the references to many quotes, scientific facts and research mentioned throughout the book.
The book recommendations at the end of chapters would be a great addition to any reader's TBR list. The to do lists given at the end of chapters adds to the utility of the book and engages the reader more, it's a great attempt to make the reader actually do something and not just read the book passively only to forget the 90% of it after a week. The fact that we forget 90% of what we learn after a week also came to my knowledge through this wonderful book alone.

It raises the importance of keeping a good health, to reach our goals apart from the inner motivation.I loved the way it approaches different topics like meditation, good eating habits and emotional intelligence.
After an introduction to each topic, the reader gets instructions to maintain it and also gets expert opinions from various people whom the author has interviewed.It also suggests books related to each subject for later reference by the reader like What To Eat When by Michael Roizen for leading a healthy lifestyle.
Expounding each matter with a scientific background and giving the reader a base idea about each topic deserves appreciation.I was really enthralled by this way of the author to get his readers’ a vast view about what they are reading about.The topics about neuron communication was interesting.
The book also suggests techniques to implement the ideas in it.If there was a little less lagging here and a better organization of lessons and paragraphs, the book would have been a little more interesting.
I will recommend this to anyone who is looking for something that is motivational in detailed nature.
