They've saved the Earth from alien invasion. They've brought the boy back from the dead. But they've paid a steep price.
The Universe has broken down. Time, space, and causality have been rendered meaningless, with only a handful of hyperreality bubbles able to withstand the entity's attack. But time is running out, and soon those bubbles will fall too.
Now Cthulhu, armed with the Causality Engine, has to travel through the fragmented spacetime to discover what led to this disaster.
To find out where it all began.
"Quantum Fields Forever" is the third and final part in the Quantum Heart trilogy, a hilarious, dramatic, and explosive ending to the trilogy that has been compared to The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy and to the Discworld series.
Overall, enjoyed the trilogy, but the back and forth timeline thing drives me a bit nuts, and this coming from a lifelong Whovian is saying a lot. I do not mind the timey whimey thing, the STTNG references, so called pop culture ones, luv HHGTTG, all that, but all of it at once, uh.
This book brings together all the loose ends in the other two books in the trilogy. If you were confused by the first two books because of to many loose ends this book adds a couple more but brings some answers that are needed to clear up the loose ends. Good Read.
Nope! Can'r believe I had to wait this long for the author to use Occam's name as a reference to Occam's Razor. I read it 'cos I'd bought it and it wasn't a very long (thankfully) novel.
