I really liked this book. It was scripture and prayer prompts, focused on the coming of Christ. I did this with a group before Advent started but I think it helped me focus my heart on Christ’s birth before Advent started. I could do this study anytime of the year. Jesus’s birth transcends our calendar month of December!

This is the first She Reads Truth study I’ve done. I enjoyed it very much and would happily do another. It isn’t an in depth study, rather a collection of scripture for daily Advent study. I found that, more than any other year, I was able to stay focused on the meaning of Christmas.

This was a great beginner Advent study and good for any “seasoned” Christian. She Reads Truth took it back to the basics by focusing on who Jesus is and all the reasons why He came. Filled with Scripture and not a bunch of hullabaloo and filler messages. Simple and GORGEOUS. Bonus craft ideas, recipes, and hymns (which my kids loved doing together and discovering hymns).

This is my first time completing an Advent Bible Study. It was great, places for notes, prayer prompts, and weekly memory verses really enhanced diving into the true meaning of the season. Celebrating the birth of Jesus, a Savior who came for all of us.

This daily advent study is selected passages following the weekly advent themes with prayer and application journal prompts throughout. It’s a gorgeous book with crafts, recipes and even hymns. I used the cardinal pattern to cross-stitch an ornament for our tree to remember Christmas 2020.

I really enjoyed this study. It helped me to refocus my mind and heart back on Jesus during this Advent season; even though 2020 has thrown us all around a bit. I read this book three years ago for Advent 2020. I had never made space to process the season and what it meant but I did that year. This book helped me enjoy the season and find meaning in it more than I ever had before. If you are interested in enjoying the season more fully as well I would highly recommend reading this at least once.

I started this book last year during the Christmas season and I loved it! There were fun activities and recipes along with a daily devotional and scripture reading. I will definitely be buying it again this year for Christmas!
