Amit has been the quintessential good guy ever since he can remember. Gullible, sweet, average looking, but fiercely loyal to his friends and family. He’s not outgoing, instead prefers to be with only his inner circle. The only wish he has when it comes to choosing a life partner is for her to be his friend, his confidante. Someone who accepts him wholeheartedly for what he is. He can accept everything else. And then he finds himself married to Nikita who is nowhere close to the life partner he ever wanted. One who’s ashamed to even admit him as her husband. Nikita is smart, confident, beautiful and life of every party. She’s also the secret love of almost every guy around. But she has been waiting for someone special to come and sweep her off her feet. Someone suave, sophisticated, dynamic and magnetic. Someone who makes her giddy with excitement. Then one fine day she finds herself married to Amit. The one she never wanted. And now she’d do anything to hide her marriage with him. With these two being forced to be together by their families without their will, would they find their happily ever after with each other?
It’s much more intriguing than the earlier two in this series.
I started reading this series as I liked Nidhi Sharma’s other novel ‘His Mysterious Wife’ but this one seems to be the best from what I have read of her so far.
Nidhi’s light stories and happy endings would leave you in a good mood!
If you love the arranged marriage trope as much as I do, then this is a must-read, and it isn't even that long.
Nikita and Amit are arranged to marry under challenging circumstances. They are complete opposites, and she lives states apart due to her job. Will their marriage work, or will they end up getting a divorce?
I loved Amit so much. He was so sweet and understanding—total swoon. I also enjoyed the angst and their beautiful story.
This part revolves around two characters (respective best friends of main characters from part 1) who are complete opposites of one another. However, they are married through an arrangement by their families. Their relationship is extremely rocky at start. How they finally fall head over heels for eachother is the crux of the book. Once again, an okay read.
