I care for my mom who has chronic kidney disease, so I am always on the lookout for new recipes to follow the renal diet. This is just what I was looking for. I liked that it took dishes I am familiar with and made them healthier. For example, there is a chow mei, but it is made with kelp noodles to be healthier. Sometimes healthier diets are easier if we upgrade foods we are already familiar with. I liked this book.
