In the end, all you have to do is Make it Count.

I was particularly excited to check out this novella not only because there are new to me authors that I was looking forward to discovering but also because the anthology features a short story from Carrie Gray and Coralee June that takes place in the the Looking to Score world- and that is hands down one of my favorite books of the year. Not to mention, you get to know you are supporting a scholarship in honor of a young softball athlete lost too young.

There’s a lot to like in this anthology- mostly light and fun stories. EM Moore always delivers, and here she gives us a most welcome visit back to the Ballers world. I was also riveted by the CR Jane and Mila Young entry- quite an epic ending, and while these authors are new to me, I definitely want to pick up the rest of this story when it arrives. And, of course, Coralee and Carrie had me in riots of laughter in Always Looking to Score.

Always Looking to Score was just ridiculous in the best way possible- silly, light hearted, quirky, and outlandish….and with amazing chemistry and steam. We get to learn more about Amanda’s roommate, Shelby- and oh boy she is a character. Paired with Dale, Oakley’s teammate, in the most unusual of circumstances, she engages in some unusual and hilarious flirting. Clearly, Dale is a great sport on and off the field, and Shelby is sweet but oh so sassy. This story showcases the comedic talents of this dream team in such an original and highly memorable way. I live for their collaborations.

Grab up this anthology- meet some new friends while getting to do some good this holiday season!

A brilliant anthology for a worthy cause. 19 stories some Novellas and some tasters of books to come but all sports related romances in some shape or form. With Strong, confident FMC's you can't help but like. Written by some authors I'd heard of and happily some I hadn't. Which makes me want to seek out more books by those writers. Just Loved It

My reviews for
Out of Bounds by E.M Moore
I hadn't read any of the ballers books before I'd read this one so I had no idea who Lake was (I will be buying those books in the future) but I kinda liked the dynamic between him and Lucy. A kinship over their addictions. A ahort and sweet read

First Pitch by A.J Macey, Katie May and Quinn Arthurs
Two opposite people. Autumn comes from a rich family and Matteo does not but they are hoping to escape their controlling families together when they go to college. Except things don't go to plan. This taster was good but now I'm curious about the full book.

Jammed up by Joanne Ganci
When Imani moves into her best friends place the only complication is her friends brother - Caleb. The object of her crush. These two characters were sweet. Each dancing around and trying to ignore their attraction to each other. I liked this short book

Jammed packed full of sports stories that range from football to baseball all the way to lacrosse and roller derby. There is a taste for everyone especially since the stories also range from spicy to sweet. I dare you to find something you don't like since this anthology has such a diverse offering.

A few of my favorites are:

Always Looking to Score by Coralee June and Carrie Gray - Dale and Shelby made me smile through this entire short story. Dale is normally confident with a capital C, but Shelby makes him work for his swagger as she uses his masculine form for her art project. The whole vision for this project was amazing and made me giggle while swooning!

The Midfielder's Defensemen by Elle Joraco - Ryan Kelfield joins a new co-ed lacrosse team and is excited for the transition from an all girls team at her new school. Although when she gets to school she discovers the co-edness of the team is all on her part as the only woman. While not everyone is welcoming, most of her teammates are and a few are might even be looking for something more than being just a teammate on the field.

Some stories are complete games while others are just season openers with the longer game to come later, but have no doubt you'll enjoy this anthology no matter what story you read.

This is a delightful collaboration of stories by skilled storytellers that is sure to keep you entertained from beginning to end. They are all centered around athletes and the women who claim their hearts, but the storylines are very different so if you prefer your romance sweet and sexy or filled with emotion and angst you are certain to find what you are looking for.

This is a great way to introduce yourself to some new to your authors as well as catch up with those you have already read and as a bonus the fact that the proceeds are being donated to a special cause only makes it that much more special.

☞︎My review is specifically for Scoring Her by C.R. Jane and Mila Young.☜︎ I’m happy I was given the opportunity to read this beautiful small amount of chapters. These two women have written an amazing story. I know that they put their hearts into it, they always do!! I recommend you read it, it’s only a few chapters but it’s worth it!! This is for a fundraiser, help support the cause by buying the anthology. I told C.R.: I had three words for her and they were “I NEED MORE!” It’s worth the read, there’s some big-name contemporary authors in this anthology. ♡︎♥︎♡︎♥︎♡︎♥︎♡︎♥︎
The sexual tension between the two characters is amazing!!!

-𝑂𝑢𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝐵𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑠 (𝑏𝑦 𝐸.𝑀. 𝑀𝑜𝑜𝑟𝑒)

This an anthology of 18 different novellas that give us love, hope along with motivation and encouragement.

Every story is not the same. Stories of various tropes are complied together including romcoms, contemporary romance, fantasy, paranormal, troubled teen, forbidden love, reverse harem (both contemporary and paranormal) and more.

I absolutely enjoyed reading each and every story, have laughed, swooned, hoped, crossed my fingers and felt sad and mad on behalf of every character.

Three of my top favorites are:
•Timberwolves- Rose Alexander
•The Midfielder's Defensemen- Elle Joraco
•First Pitch- A.J Macey, Katie May & Quinn Arthurs
I love every single one, but I'm obsessed over these three and am definitely gonna stalk for their updates!

This is a fantastic collection of stories created by some really incredible authors. It has something for everyone. Each story sucks you in until you don't want them to end which is good since some are just intros to new upcoming full books. The fact that the proceeds go to a good cause is just the icing on the cake. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Always Looking to Score by CoraLee June/Carrie Gray

Shelby and Dale’s story is definitely a hit; a sexy, sassy novella that scores! It has the right amount of humor mixed with steam and tension!

These were two fun characters I enjoyed watching come together, not to mention the cameos from Amanda and Oakley!

Whether a quick novella or a full blown novel, CoraLee June and Carrie Gray are the perfect team!

An anthology that not only delivers amazing short stories, but also supports a good cause? Sign me up! Ofcourse I had to buy this one. It sure helps that there are some of my favourite authors participating in it. But I also love getting to know new authors.

So, let's start with my reviews (I will update this as I finish one or more)

The Games We Play - Mary Martel
I've read this author before, but was pleasantly surprised by reading something different from her. This was a very sweet novella that actually made me look up if there was more to read about these characters. She definitely got me invested!

Sand Cat - Lili Black
This author is entirely new to me. This story was pnr and I was amazed by the amount of world building she managed to pack in such a short time. I loved these characters and the idea was intriguing for sure!

Out Of Bounds - EM Moore
Now, EM Moore is one of my ALL TIME favourite authors out there. I still have to read quite some books on her backlist, but what I've read so far has all blown me away. She wrote a short spin off story that takes place after where her Ballers of Rockport High series finishes. I loved reading a bit about the characters I've loved so much in the Ballers series, but what I loved even more was Lake. Remember Lake? Lake was the big bad bully in the Ballers series and his arc in the Ballers series pulled at my heartstrings. I always had faith in Lake and the fact he could be redeemed. And oh boy, did EM Moore deliver BIG TIME. Lake's change made me tear up multiple times. The way he used his struggle and experience and turned it in something that helps others was unbelievable. There's no doubt that I will not be swooning over his development for the foreseeable future. WHAT A MAN!
Note, the FMC Lucy is very well developed too and I kinda want to see more of their journey together. GIVE IT TO ME ERIN!!!

The Drop - Rinna Ford
I wanted to read so much more about these characters. This was intriguing and I was invested from the very beginning!

Courting Love - Catherine Banks
A sweet and short novella! I liked it.

Geeks and Games - Jarica James & Suki Williams
That I liked this novella was totally unsurprising to me since I love both of these authors. It was very wellwritten and just a compelling read overall. They did a great job putting in quite some development that felt actually really very well paced. Can I have more of this please?

Don’t puck with her - Samantha Bea
I loved this excerpt! It was sweet, a great read, had suspense and was a page turner of epic proportions. I will definitely check this series out when it releases.

Timberwolves - Rose Alexander
I loved this story. The author is new to me, but I'm really looking forward to read more about these characters.

Tap Out - Bo Reid & JL Hallow
This was something different, invoking quite some emotions as it give us a spin on a girl that was bullied, trying to fight back, creating a website that was eventually used for more bullying. I loved how these authors gave us insight in the different characters pov.

The Midfielder's Defensemen
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this anthology and I need so much more! The author is someone I haven't heard from before, but she definitely took me by surprise with this anthology. It was so wellwritten and compelling that I found myself dissapointed it was only a short introduction.

Touchline - May Dawson
Another amazing story that kept me wanting more! Definitely something I will need to check out later!

Into the Deep End - Darcy Ray
Intriguing read that looks a little darker and definitely piques my interest.

First Pitch - AJ Macey, Katie May & Quinn Arthurs
Wow, this part really pulled at my heartstrings, no surprise there, given the authors. I am beyond curious to see where they will take these characters.

Jammed Up - Joanne Ganci
This was a short and cute novella! I was head over wheels with Caleb!

Witches Be Pitchin' - Jenée Robinson
I've heard about this author before, but somehow never got to reading her books. Well, this anthology definitely made her move higher upon my TBR list, because I was entranced and in love with these characters.

Break Away - Chrissy Jaye
Great plot building, great characters, I need to know MORE!

Scoring Her - CR Jane & Mila Young
It's interesting to see something totally different from these authors and they nailed it for sure!

Always Looking To Score - Coralee June & Carrie Gray
CJ an CG gave me the spinoff I never realised I needed this much. I absolutely loved how this made me laugh so hard!

Out of Bounds by EM Moore

Ok, if you've read the Ballers series by EM then you know who Lake is. If you've seen any of my reviews on that series then you know how much I despise Lake. So when I found out that the short EM was doing in here was about him I was torn. I love EM and all her books. I didn't want to miss out on any of her wonderful writing, but come on, it's freaking LAKE! On the other hand, I took it as a challenge for EM to take a character that I despise and make me like him. So what's the verdict? Kudos to EM. I don't love him, let's be clear. I don't absolutely hate him either. I think she wrote him to show extreme maturity. He owned up to what he did, the issues he had and he used his mistakes and short comings to help others. I think that if there was more to this story I could definitely see myself forgiving him. Lucy, I freaking adored her. Yes, she has problems but she's funny and so absolutely perfect for Lake. I feel like I could really get into their story. So yay to EM, I did NOT have high hopes going into this and was so pleasantly surprised.

Scoring Her by Mila Young and CR Jane
This was a story about two athletes. A runner (Riley) and the quarterback (Knox). I enjoyed this little intro to the story and could see myself being invested in a full book. The characters were easy to like. It was only a couple chapters and things still got a little heated between these two. Lots of chemistry there.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This anthology has so many great short stories in it and it covers every sport there is to cover I do believe. I really enjoyed the stories in it and I especially loved the story that CoraLee June and Carrie Gray added to the collection. If you have read their book Looking to Score this short story takes place in that world with the characters of Shelby and Dale. This book will cover everything from really steamy stories to really sweet so there is something in it for everyone and I got the feeling that there are more stories from authors worlds besides the one I mentioned I just haven't read any of those books to realize that they are take off's of other stories.

Make it Count An Anthology in Memory of Josie McIntyre features 19 stories from 23 authors, with each story focusing on sport.
I love that before you dive into each story there’s a steam level indicator. I think this is a great help to select which book you are in the mood to read, and gives great variety.

Below are my reviews for the books I’ve read from this anthology, which see, to all have an underlying focus on equal opportunity and removing gender stereotypes.

- Always Looking to Score by Carrie Gray & Coralee June (football - MF): The follow up short story to Looking to Score follows Dale and Shelby as their romance builds, along with elements of fun, vulnerability and a little steam. Amanda and Oakley still make an appearance in this story, but as side characters.
- Don’t Puck With Her by Samantha Bea (hockey - RH): This story is a prequel, which follows Danielle aka Dani who’s moved to a new town and school with a love of playing hockey, plus the added bonus that her old bestie is at her new school. I love the initial meeting of Dani and her 4 hockey players, it’s a great way to hook the reader, as well as the fight behind girls having an equal opportunity to play sport - even on the boys team. This is my favourite story from the collection and I can’t wait to read more from these characters.

This book is dedicated to Josie McIntyre who was taken from this world to soon, this beautiful young lady was an avid sports lover and all these authors have come together to put this anthology together.
This book is an anthology and a collection of short stories by different authors. I always love anthologies as I feel it always gives the reader a a chance to read other authors work when you wouldn't normally have had the chance to.

I read Coralee June and Carrie Gray short novella and it was amazing. This short sweet and steamy read was great and had some humorous moments to it. I loved the characters how these ladies have written them and brought them to life for the reader, and I really enjoyed reading this and these authors are absolutely fantastic together.

Theses stories are fun and sassy and all bring something a little different but still have the sports romance element to them. All the author in this anthology have come together to write this awesome anthology and every one should whip it up.

A sport romance readers heaven!
.
I originally got this to read E.M Moore’s piece, but when I was done I found I wanted more so I read the whole thing and I loved it. Some great teasers in here from authors that participate in regards to either up coming work or covering characters in previous series they have.
.
I enjoyed the whole anthology. There were some new to me authors and some faves. This book really did have it all. It’s also a dedication and I thought it was perfect for whom they dedicated it to. The anthology covered most sports that are in sport romance books. From basketball to baseball and football. It was a great mix of authors and I loved it.
.
Anthologies are a great way to experience new authors also so if your curious and want to experience a snippet of authors you may have heard of but haven’t read or want to broaden your horizon definitely give this one a go. This anthology is all about the sport romance and I couldn’t get enough.

I was seriously looking forward to this book because I love sports romance books. I was truly excited because one of my favorite authors E.M. Moore was putting her anthology out for the series that started my love of her books.

This short story sends us back into the Ballers world of a very anticipated story of Lake. A guy that was pretty well hated by myself in her Ballers series because of his addiction and chip on his shoulder. Please go read that series by the way because you understand where I am coming from, but where Lake is too.

I don’t want to give too much away but I think I love Lake now. His honesty comes across perfectly in this book (unlike in Ballers where he came across like a jerk) and him wanting to help out, the heroine, Lucy. I hope we get a whole book into Lake and Lucy.

This was a really good anthology. The writers all did wonderful.

The book that lead me to reading this was Out of Bounds by E.M. Moore. If you have read her baller books then you'll be familiar with Lake. He's the MC in this short, and you get to know a completely different version of him. He has struggled, battled his demons, is working toward earning everyone's forgiveness, and is doing good for others. He met Lucy when she was on a path of self destruction, and he showed her there's a better way, thus allowing her to make a choice in how she wants to live her life. I very much enjoyed this story.

~ Happy reading friends!

This review is for “Scoring her” by C.R. Jane and Mila Young. This story immediately drew me in as the FMC is making her come back at a new school after a knee energy. She’s focused on her goals but there’s one problem: Knox. He’s hot and seems to be a distraction. She has some underlying issues with football players, as her dad left when she was a kid. She’s got pressure and shade coming from her new teammates, and just when things seem to be going really well...she’s attacked. I can’t wait to read more about Riley!

A collection of super sweet romance short stories. I like that at the beginning of each of is a steamy rating & some are definitely on the cute side but there are a couple hot ones! I love that they are all sports related. Some are from both characters point of view, some are paranormal, so you get a little bit of everything! Which means there’s something for everyone!

This review is for "Scoring Her" which is a short story co written by C.R. Jane and Mila Young that is included in the Make it Count: An Anthology in memory of Josie McIntyre.

This is a college romance between Riley who is a long distance dinner and Knox who is the quarterback for the college football team. Riley is new to the college after she spent a year recovering from an injury and now the college has offered her a scholarship to run and represent them. Riley met Knox at a local nightclub, they had a connection but she got scared and left without telling anyone. She is then surprised to see him at the college she has just started. The college girls are already jealous of Riley because she has gained the attention of Knox and then late one night she is attacked with a note left for her to find and I can only assume it's because of Knox.

This short story ended with the attack so now we patiently wait for these authors to release the full length novel so we can find out what happens with Riley & Knox.

Out of Bounds by EM Moore

I read the Baller series so I figured what the hell....

I liked the changes Lake made but this was way to short to ever consider it anything more than a fishing line to see if anyone would be interested in reading a full Lake story.
Not bad but def no closure and can't even say for certain that it would lead to an HEA.

What an uplifting story, I loved the original series that this book refers too. Tessa and her ballers have a special place in my heart and I love that I got a peek into Lake and River’s lives... Now I need this story to give me the rest of the details! I want Lucy and Lake to get a HEA. Addiction touches every family, we all have loved someone that’s battled addiction, this story gives hope to those still in the trenches!

I have a serious love/hate relationship with anthologies and most of the time it's hate because most stories are lacking or they just end as soon as they get good. I am glad to say that I enjoyed most of this one and I am going to do a play by play for each.
The Games We Play-Mary Martel-2 stars
Not my favorite of the group. The story was just ok for me and I didn't really care about the characters either.
Sand Cat-Lili Black-4 stars
Really enjoyed this take on Volley Ball, shifters and magic. I loved the sweetness of the story and the characters.
Out Of Bounds-E.M. Moore-5 stars
I was so excited about this story and it didn't disappoint! I know Lake was the villain of The Ballers series but he came around in the end and deserved to find his own Tessa! I loved the person he is now and loved this awesome short story!
The Drop-Rinna Ford-5 stars
I loved Aquaman before Jason Mamoa went and made him perfect and I got that vibe from this. I would read a series based on this short story!
Courting Love-Catherine Banks-3 stars
A short but sweet story even if the couple didn't make a ton of sense to me.
Don't Puck With Her-Samantha Bea-4 stars
I really like this story even though it is one of the things I hate about anthologies. It ended just when it was picking up steam and I really hope this does turn into a series because I would like to know more about Dani.
Timberwolves-Rose Alexander-3 stars
I really liked the characters but again it was another story that was just starting to get good and ended.
Tap Out-Bo Reid and JL Hallow-1 star
Did not get this one at all. Didn't care for the story and really didn't like the characters.
The Midfielder's Defensemen-Elle Joraco-2 stars
This one was just so-so for me. The story was alright but the characters just didn't do it for me.
Touchline-May Dawson-4 stars
This one gave me She's the Man vibes all the way and the story didn't leave me feeling incomplete either.
Into The Deep End-Darcy Ray-2.5 stars
Not really sure why this was in a sports anatho but the story was pretty good. Not really sure about the characters because I will need more to like the main character and you don't get to know any other characters that well. Not something I will go searching for to see if this turns into a full blown book though.
First Pitch-A.J. Macey, Katie May, Quinn Arthurs-3 stars
This was a tough one for me. I love all three of these women's work dearly but I just don't feel excited so far if this turns into a whole book. The potential is there and I will check it out if it happens.
Jammed Up-Joanne Ganci-4 stars
I love derby girls and was glad to see this in a story. I liked the characters and I felt this story had a great beginning, middle and end leaving me satisficed.
Witches Be Pitchin'-Jenee Robinson-3 stars
Cute and to the point
Breakaway-Chrissy Jaye-2.5 stars
Had a hard time with this one just connecting with it but it did get me teary eyed a couple of times.
Scoring Her-C.R. Jane and Mila Young-4.5 stars
Magic happens when this two ladies get together and write! The magic was there with great characters and awesome story. Again it ended in a horrible place so I knocked off a half star for that. It would normally be a full star but it would have been a 5 star read for me if there was a preorder available for this book. I loved it that much! Now I have to stalk them until that preorder becomes a reality.
Always Looking To Score-Carrie Gray and Coralee June-5 stars
I laughed so hard through out this story! The killer little girls alone were enough to give it a 5 star rating but we got so much more! Loved this one!
Overall I am glad I read this anthology. Does it change my mind about them, no but I hope to get some good books from some of the unfinished stories I liked.

I was so excited for this anthology. 🤩 What better way to support such a great cause than a charity anthology that gives to a scholarship fund in honor of a softball star lost way too young. ♥️

Review for- Always Looking to Score

The Dynamic Duo that is CoraLee June and Carrie Gray strikes again! Let the craziness ensue!
From the second I started this novella, this nugget of non-stop hilarity, I was rolling y’all.

Dale and Shelby’s story was unpredictable, it was funny, it was sexy and it was needed right now in the world. And here is why...The antics that Shelby put our Dale through O-M-G!! He was the best sport about it all. What men will do for a chance with a red headed bombshell! 💋
I was dying with laughter. I may or may not have soiled my britches y’all. ( In my defense I'm like 41 and have five pregnancies under my belt so don’t judge me or my wayward bladder control 🥴)

I can’t get enough of the Looking to Score series, so I was so excited to see we were getting Dale and Shelby. You need this novella in your life right now. 2020 has been quite the suckfest. This story is such a bright spot. It’s like a fast funny rollercoaster the laughs never stop and your sad when it’s over. I would love nothing more than to get more of Shelby and Dale but am completely happy if this is where we leave it. Swoony, sweet, sexy, funny and witty. A super fast but funny and addictive little novella. 🔥😍🥰😂 So for all the vagueness but #SpoilersSuck! So actually I’m not Sorry😂 Order this amazing anthology today!! 🖤⚾️

I really enjoyed this anthology! I’m honestly not too big on sports romance, or any sports in general, but this was for a good cause and I couldn’t pass up reading it. There’s a little something for everyone- contemporary and paranormal, sweet and steamy, light and dark. I enjoyed that the characters were on the younger side (high school and college) and the variety of sports that were included. I liked getting a taste of some authors that I haven’t read before and reading some from authors that I already love. Some of my favorite stories were Scoring Her by JR Crane, Witches Be Pitchin’ by Jenee Robinson, and The Games We Play by Mary Martel. I’m looking forward to seeing most of these stories expanded and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed reading about sports!

Witches Be Pitchin’ by Jenee Robinson
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a really sweet story! I’m not used to seeing sweet romance from Jenee, but she wrote this one very well. I liked the different types of supernaturals and the rivalry between Elle and Lala. I really liked the budding relationship of Elle and Jai and my favorite characters were probably Aleah and Lucian. I’m not sure if this story will get extended or become a series later on, but I’d be interested to get more background and character development if it did.

“I’m sure I smelled like a hippo’s ass”
This story kind of hit home with me because of my sister. She was injured and wasn’t able to continue running track and play softball and field hockey. After she recovered, she never had the courage to go back to playing in college. Riley has the courage even though she’s afraid she’ll fail and her character was realistic. I loved that this story had some steam to it and the instant chemistry she had with Knox. I also really loved Carly and I can’t wait to see more when the extended version of this story releases!

First Pitch by AJ Macey, Katie May, and Quinn Arthurs
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
“One thousand six hundred days, and I would finally be free to live and to love exactly how I wanted to. Forever.”
This was a sweet romance that definitely pulled at your heartstrings. It’s nice to have a change of age with characters in high school. I’ve had friends who had parents that were like Autumn’s and Matteo’s and this story was very realistic. As someone who is a non-believer in distance relationships, these authors have me rooting for this young couple to make it despite the distance and their parents.

The Games We Play by Mary Martel
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“There was something wrong with me though, because perfect and boring and nice just didn’t do it for me. I wanted naughty and dangerous and... a bad boy.”
I’m not used to Mary writing sweet romances, usually her stories are a little darker, but she still managed to hook me. I really liked that the main leads were a cheerleader and loner. A lot of people don’t consider cheerleading a sport and I loved that it was included in this anthology. Even though that Rebecca and Penny weren’t the best of friends, they still showed that their loyalty lied with Shae. I hope that Mary decides to expand Shae and Tobias’ story because that “screw you” ending and start of their relationship has me rooting for them.

Wonderful anthology with athletes and student athletes as characters!

Out of Bounds by EM Moore

I loved this one. Getting to know Lucy and to see the growth of Lake was amazing. Lake has come SO FAR as person. The difference is night and day in his maturity. Seeing him interact with Lucy makes my heart squeeze. I can’t wait to see what happens next with this two!

Geeks and Games by Jarica James and Suki Williams

This was an absolute delight! I loved the characters so much. You have Sydney this amazing basketball player playing on what’s essentially a “boy’s team” and her BFF Austin. Then you have the “geeks or gamers” tutoring her and keeping her eligible for basketball. Max, Levi and Gavin are awesome. They’re adorable and make learning so much easier for her than her professors. Before she knows it, she’s easily getting caught up and making friends instead. As part of her deal for tutoring, she’s supposed to be helping them land their girl, but that girl isn’t really worthy of the great guys they are... What’s a girl like Sydney to do...

First Pitch by Macey/May/Arthurs

This was a great intro to a story that is to come I loved the way Autumn and Matteo are introduced. Autumn seems like such an amazing young woman. She seems strong and smart and ready to take on the world. Her parents seem like complete douchebags. Matteo seems like an amazing guy. He was ready to jump to the moon to solve any problem he could when he thought Autumn was upset. He may not be the richest guy in the world, but give me a great guy any day. This is definitely one I would pick up the full story for!

Jammed Up by Joanne Ganci

This fun derby story is sweet treat and beat friend’s brother love story. Amani and Caleb are adorable together. Their cuteness feels like a snuggly blanket you could cuddle up in!

Into the Deep End by Darcy Ray

This is another one that I would love to read the full story for! Here we are introduced to Loana. Loana is in a downward spiral following the death of her boyfriend. She’s drinking and generally making poor decisions. Those decisions lead her to maybe make a new friend in Benjamin...

Scoring Her by CR Jane and Mila Young

I LOVE Riley! This was one of my favorites and I’m DYING FOR MORE! I connected with the FMC Riley so hard. I’m pretty much in love with footballer Knox. I don’t want to give anything away but their installation relationship and his way of cheering this runner on really got to me. I’m here when these two push publish on the rest of this story.

Always Looking to Score by Carrie Gray and CoraLee June

Dale, Oakley’s trouble making friend, is back, and he has his sight’s set on Amanda’s roommate Shelby. When they meet, Shelby agrees to a series of meetings if he will help her with some photos for her exhibition. The results are EPIC! This is a must read, and one of the only complete stories from those I read. Do not pass go... Dive into this one ASAP!

Twenty-three fantastic authors have come together to bring you an anthology with nineteen stories full of hope and love in memory of Josie McIntyre, who was an avid softball player. Josie was tragically lost too young. All proceeds for this anthology will go toward a scholarship fund in her memory. Inside you will find sports stories full of sassy girls and sexy guys each making the most out of what they can.

Scoring Her by CR Jane
Riley and Knox, a long-distance runner coming off of a major injury and the star football player have undeniable chemistry but for numerous reasons, Riley is hesitant to get involved. Like magnets, the two are drawn together time and time again even with Riley's hesitancy. Beware: this is only a teaser of their story. It ends with an attack and possible reinjury to Riley. You will come away knowing two things, 1. You will be left frustrated and 2. You are already hooked and want so much more.

The Games We Play Mary Martel
Shae and Tobias. This is the classic popular cheerleader and boy from the wrong side of the tracks story given the Mary Martel touch. One that makes every reader want Tobias. Who can say no to a good looking, protective guy who sees the real girl, not the one she shows her so-called friends but the one she hides? Definitely not Shae!

I will be adding reviews by Lili Black and CoraLee June.

This review is for the stories >Out of bounds< By E.M. Moore and >Scoring Her< by C. R. Jane & Mila Young.

Out of bounds ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
Thank you Erin for bringing us back to the world of the Ballers. This short story is about Lake and his life at college after all that happened at The Ballers of Rockport High Series. I am really happy seeing him changed and evolved to be a better person. He learned from his past and is trying to help others in need. I really enjoyed reading his story. As always Erin wrote a fantastic short story about Lake and Lucy.

Scoring Her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
This story got me hooked from the beginning. The former track star Riley met an absolutely mesmerizing guy at a party before starting at her new college. Little did she know that he also attends the same college and is the football star. After a severe injury Riley tries to get back to her former skills at her new college. But the attention from the football star Knox might be dangerous for her well being. I loved this story and i am happy that their story will continue. Can‘t wait to read more about their story. Riley and Knox have great chemistry and i really liked the female main character. I am so curious how her character is going to evolve. Loved it!
