It took me a long to finish this. The catchy, romantic sketch made me pick it up. I will briefly summarise the blurb and key features of this book that will give you idea about it. The story starts in a Cafe with Niyati and Neel. Neel is of the protagonist in our story and the story falls into a flashback a year ago. Another protagonist of the story is Rashi. Rashi was all set to step up into a business world. When they started working together, Rashi started explaining her ideas and the concept she was working on. Neel was impressed with her line of thought and asked her to compile her suggestions for further analysis. Neel was a confident and strong person, but he also loved to incorporate the views of other people. But Neel was in relationship with Tia. Neel thinks that he is falling for Rashi. But will he have guts to acknowledge his feelings and what about Tia. Read the book to unfold further plot. I liked the plot. It’s a light romance read and author has plotted enough twists to keep it interesting. The writing style of the author is light and breezy that anyone can pick it up anywhere. My favourite part is “The wedding” obviously because it’s the girls favourite thing. Author has narrated the story and even the background in well detailed manner. We could imagine and feel the entire scenes and characters all the time around us. Overall good one. I quite enjoyed reading it. All romance lovers just go and grab it.

It's a journey of Rashi and Neel. Neel who is in a relationship with Tia is of all praises for his new employee Rashi which irks Tia. In between the work-life and personal life, Neel finds solace with Rashi. Is he falling for her? How will the relationship with Tia affect him?
It's a journey of love, friendship, professional life and fate. I liked the storyline of the book. It's filled with twists and fun. With an intriguing narration, the author takes us through the emotional turmoil Neel faces.
From being the strict boss to being the most loyal friend and son, how destiny has some different plans for him. The story gets more interesting with the coming chapters.
With a crisp and delightful writing style, the author keeps the readers hooked throughout. I loved how Neel protected Rashi, how he felt when he was with Rashi. It's a complete Bollywood story full of Drama.
From Neel's equation with Rashi to his bond with Tia to his personality, I loved his character. I even loved Rashi's strong and pleasant personality. Each character had a strong role to play. I admired how the author expressed every character.
The family love, the relationship, the friendship between Bali and Neel, the professional life, everything is wonderfully expressed by the author.
I loved how Rashi and Neel made a great team.
It's a bit slow-paced story. From a Punjabi Wedding to Family love, I adored everything. Neel's innocence and Rashi's wit made it perfect chemistry. The conversations, Tia's trap, Neel's realisation everything felt like a Bollywood movie.
Not to forget an interesting climax. It's a perfect story of Love and friendship.

They were good at working together, soon a bond developed between them. They became friends and then more. Now a battle started inside the CEO about his commitment and his feelings. He was not feeling good to pursue his feelings for Rashi. Read this book and find out what happened next.
It's a light romance book and is full of surprises. It's a long read but because of the twist n turns it becomes very interesting. Neel's emotions were conveyed properly. Characters are well written and I really feel for them while reading.

"When fate conspires" is a emotional story of love, ambition and duty. The book is a long read. Even though I'm a fast reader, it took me a while to get through it. The plot was not unique but there were nice twists towards the end of the book which made the book memorable. I loved the cover of the book and the title. It was apt for the story.
"Revenge is a trait that feeds on ego. But ' Love' and ego are like day and night, you can't have them both at the same time. "
The language was lucid. The narration was in third person but the emotions of the main characters were conveyed perfectly. There were 3 main characters in the book, Rashi, Neel and Tia. I found Neel's character to be fickle and shallow. He kept changing his tune and his feelings didn't seem genuine. Whereas, Rashi's character was the opposite, she seemed to be goodness personified. While Tia was the middle of both. I found the book a tedious and I wished the book was much shorter.

"When Fate Conspires" is the perfect romantic drama for me. A breezy romance set in the popular corporate culture with Mumbai city as the backdrop. It is the kind of story that gets adapted to the silver screen. But not all is flowery as the lead romantic pair goes through a roller coaster ride spanning global cities with twists that are impossible to predict!
The book scores with its characterization. Rashi with her bubbly persona and selfless and nurturing nature conforms to the happy-go-lucky character trope. Predictable as she may be, her foresight in times of crises left me impressed. Rashi’s thoughtful and kind behavior with Nisha-the mole in the hole proves her innate goodness and warmed the cockles of my heart. Rashi may be described as the personification of our human conscience. By the end of the book, I knew she could be blindly trusted to take actions upholding ethics and humanity no matter the cost. As a character, Rashi inspires us to always do the right thing and to see the good in people. Neel on the other hand is a more realistic character having vices and virtues in equal measures. Dynamic, motivated, impulsive, and domineering are his adjectives. No one knows what Neel is going to do next! The climax of the story rides on the unpredictability of his actions. Neel’s character inspires confidence and bedazzles the readers with his courage in the face of danger.
"When Fate Conspires" has thrilling action in the second half of the story. The narrator takes us on an eventful ride to Washington, D.C., and the New York City, before bringing us back to Mumbai. It is a refreshing and much awaited change of scenery. The foreshadowing in the book had me tingling with excitement till the end. The plot is mostly watertight and the loose ends are tied up well at the end of the story. The book has quality quotes, phrases and proverbs which are a delight to read.
However, "When Fate Conspires" is not devoid of its shortcomings. The narration is filled with repeated information and over explained action- a common pitfall for debut authors. For example, there are five instances where the author uses the phrase “This girl is surely gonna rock it”-namely in Chapter 3, Chapter 4, Chapter 6, Chapter 8 and Chapter 16. I felt like a student who had to be told a point again and again. The author could have employed different words or phrases for the same.
Read the book for:
✔Humanely realistic characters who inspire goodness.
✔An eventful plot.
✔ A sweet, tender and intoxicating office romance (even though a lot of action takes place outside the office) that makes you giddy with happiness.
✔A delightful peak into the Punjabi culture and the lives of the Indian corporate.
✔An upbeat melodious playlist of English music that is craftily intertwined with the romantic scenes.

He recruits a talented young designer, Rashi into his firm. Rashi is a bubbly, honest, organized, smart, perky and outspoken girl who walks not just into his office, but also into his heart. Neel's own committed status and her disinterest in him rocks his life and sways his sanity.
Characters like Neel are the reason why we have stupidly high expectations in men and in relationships in general. Jokes apart, his character is indeed charming.
I also loved the character of Neel's parents.
The book showed that how optimistic atmosphere in the house can impact in making the children emotionally rooted and strong. My favourite character is of Neel's best friend, Bali. He has all the qualities of a true friend. I loved the description about Mumbai city in the book. Here, author portrays how Mumbai being the city of paradoxes, teaches its ever- hurrying population a lesson to learn ‘peace’ within the ‘chaos

So the book is "When Fate Conspires" by @purvimehtawrites . She have a very versatile personality she is a coach, she is a teacher, she is a trainer and what not. She is the person who inspired me a lot 🌸.
I think this book have the potential to reach to many people because of the storyline and the plot. Although the plot is not so unique and you might have read a similar plot in different book the the way she has presented the whole story is definitely unique.
The best thing that I liked about this book is it's narration which is really unique. The way author has narrated the whole story it's just amazing and gripping at the same time.

There are three main characters in the story and they are Neel, Rashi & Tia. Neel is a CEO of his own advertising company and he recruits a talented designer Rashi and appoints her as a designer in his organization. As days passes, both Neel & Rashi becomes good friends Later, Neel feels that he is falling for Rashi. But Neel is already committed with Tia.
Neel is a man of his words but he has fallen for Rashi. Will Neel ever confess his love to Rashi? Will Neel stay loyal to Tia?
What is written in Rashi, Neel & Tia's fate?
Overall it's a wonderful of friendship and love and it also depicts love of parents for their children and teaches us that parents are the only ones who wishes the well being of their children and they are the only one who forgive their children when they commit mistakes.
Read this beautiful story to know more!!

This book, "When Fate Conspires" is a heartwarming, heart touching and exhilarating love story of a couple whose fate begins conspiring from the very beginning itself.
Neel and Rashi's coming together at the beginning of the story and their relationship ending with ethereal love at the end is something which will keep you hooked to this intriguing love story.
All the more, there are many a captivating twists and layers in the story. Firstly Nisha's proposal of love towards Neel and then Neel's transient love with Tia and then it turning into a mess, all these spicy elements make this book a paragon among all other popular fiction.
The story is full of inside and outside office drama, love, disappointments and tragic turns and twists in the love equations of the characters. Though the story is bit slow-paced but it's no less riveting and will keep you hooked and excited to know what actually happens further in the lives of these characters.
Characters sketching, plot, conflicts, dialogues, storytelling and not to forget exhilarating quotes in the beginning of every chapter will leave you agape with it's entirety and impacts, for sure.
The language used in this book is very easy to read and understand and at the same time, the simplicity in the language and directness in the narration of the story is one of the specialities of this book.

Neel is a young dynamic charmer who is the CEO of his own company and Rashi is a young talented designer who is really hard-working. Impressed by Rashi's resume Neel recruits her in his office. The story becomes quite interesting when their professional relationship takes a little turn and they become friends. Though Neel is in a committed relationship with Tia who lives in USA but will that be enough for him to control his feelings for Rashi?
Do pick up this book if you really want to know about all the twist and turns that fate throws at Neel and Rashi and to know who will it be in the end for Neel?
The book is a 33 chapters long read. Though the story line is a little predictable but still there are alot many twists and turns that makes the story interesting and not letting you get up before you finish it. Different characters were introduced from time to time making the story more interesting. These characters are well built and because of the writing style which is kept easy it really makes you feel connected to them. The title and the cover are a perfect fit for the storyline. The story has everything from friendship, attraction, love to drama, betrayal, heartbreak and what not. I absolutely enjoyed ever bit of the story and all the details mentioned about Mumbai city is obviously a plus point to the book. The book is a perfect fit for each age group starting from the new young readers to the experienced ones. ❤️

As a crime thriller lover, I was a bit reluctant to get into Romantic genre but this book changed my mind. After going through hard twists and turns of other novels I wanted to get into a light hearted book and When Fate Conspires definitely filled all the marks. It is beautiful light entertaining romantic tale of Rashi and Neel. Neel is a young entrepreneur and he hires Rashi as her designer. They start connecting with each other through work but eventually fate has something else in mind. They become good friends and hit quite the deals with their passion towards work. Now whether this Friendship will bloom into something else or not with the situations around them is all we can find out in this book.
There are a few supporting characters like Tia, Niyati, Rohan, Bali, they do full justice to their role. I can say this novel is a one of the perfect examples of love, ambitions, career and friendship. The scenes were written very aptly and the reader can connect to that. For example, the scene where Neel leaves his maid unknowingly in office made me laugh like anything. In the same way his pranks were unimaginable. The marriage party chapter also was one of the highlights which I enjoyed thoroughly. There were a few places where I felt some scenes were over stretched and slow and in some places it was too fast. There was frequent repetition of names in some places but these all can be ignored as the story line was great. Although a cliché Romantic types novel this one had its unique freshness with itself. I really loved the overall book. A big thumbs up .

It is kept minimal and not soo flashing but the design and the importance of that will be known in the book later.
Language is easy to read and understand, finally a very excellent book....
It's a light romance book and is full of surprises.
It's a long read but because of the twist n turns it becomes very interesting.
Neel's emotions were conveyed properly.
Characters are well written and I really feel for them while reading....
This book, I wouldn't say, has a unique plot but it was an interesting read with the twists and unexpected turns that the author has injected in the flow of the story....

It has been a while since I’ve read a slow burn romance. But Purvi Mehta’s novel, When Fate Conspires is the perfect example for this genre. It was quite a long read but what caught and kept my attention was the will they, won’t they that was introduced early on in the novel.
Brownie points for the cover being intriguing, as well. It really helped us make the decision to pick up the book.
The story doesn’t take away from the fact that Rashi is brilliant at her job, and Neel is enamoured by her skills. It is refreshing to see that the female lead wasn’t reduced to just a love interest but hold her own – even when things went south. There was an interesting cast of minor characters who played their parts to help the story move forwards
Something I’ve always struggled with in both writing and reading are love triangles. This conflict has been well done in When Fate Conspires. Neel is torn between his growing affection towards Rashi and his sense of duty towards Tia, who he is in a long distance relationship with.
We don’t want to reveal too much about the story lest we give away the plot twists that make this slow burn romances one of our good reads. But we highly recommend this book if you like reading romances and prefer the story to unfold slowly. This is a perfect long weekend read, paired with a cup of chai or coffee.

I could call this story a Bollywood Potboiler or a Bollywood Love Story in a short summary. It has all the masala for the big screen. We have a suave, dashing and handsome hero, Neel. He has looks as well as brains, an exemplary combination. Then we have two heroines, Raashi and Tia. The hero's parents, Raashi's widowed mother and a younger sister, Tia's father and the hero's best friend Bali, and his wife Mira. There is Rohan, who is Raashi's would be husband.
Hero is the owner of an Ad agency. He employs Raashi as the Creative Head and with her presence becomes quite successful. His love interest is Tia, but he starts to get attracted to Raashi too. What will he do? Who will he finally get hitched to? Who will help him take that final decision? What role will the other characters play in his life? All these questions form the entire plot of the story. It is basically a movie that you are watching, but through words.
The author has given us a good plot, with an interesting love story, and apt characterisation. The style of writing is not complicated at all. Each character in the story has a specific importance to the story. Even those who are not regular readers will be able to enjoy the language. The overall pace is good, but somewhere in the middle could have been faster. Overall a good read, if one is interested in love stories, and believes in fate. Good work by author. Downside is a few technical editing errors, where there are a few spelling errors.

When Fate Conspires by Purvi Mehta is a beautiful and catchy read especially if you are a die hard romantic fan when it comes to books! So the story revolves around Neel and Rashi who are friends in their mind but their heart 'feels' something else! Will they be able to spill their guts out for each other even if Neel is in relationship with Tia?
There are some instances in the book which are amazing and explain about life metamorphically. The background set for the book is a corporate one and the story is not just set in India. It briefly takes the reader to USA and then back to India. You will fall in love with both the protagonists character and there are some 'Awww' moments as well. The use of song especially when they happen to meet accidently or otherwise also is used appropriately. What I didnt like about the book is that there was too much description about a particular place before delving into the story again...so there is a loooooong break when the story starts to continue again after that description which may want to make you skip and move on ...other than that its a pacey and fast read. I finished the book in 2 days because there was unpredictability in some instances. Overall a book for romantics out there! Do not miss this book!

A breezy read
Well, the title made me think when –‘When Fate Conspires’ and why so? As I continued reading the book, I realized the essence of the title, it was very apt.

I always like to read love stories because I grew up watching romantic movies and series. Here, the writer presented the story so nicely that you can feel pain in some parts of the story along with different emotions of happiness and sometimes feeling constricted. It will undoubtedly touch your heart.
I loved the part where Rashi and Neel were playing games along with other couples, and Rashi had to sit on Neel’s lap without her feet touching the ground. Moreover, later on, how couples were supposed to guess the right answer from the given options, the games were definitely so fun to read.
There were 3 main characters in the book, Rashi, Neel, and Tia. Neel is already with Tia, but the connection but him and Rashi felt so much real and the connection between them felt instant too. I wont give away much about the ending, but the plot is really easy-flowing filled with enough twists and turns.
Expected a little more depth while sketching the women characters. Nevertheless, time is worth investing.
I enjoyed the book thoroughly, and I would recommend this to others as well.

~I just loved this book. It was so good. All the twists and turns kept me hooked. While it is a slow-paced long read, the incidents between the protagonists are too sweet to keep the readers' entertained and on toes.

~The narration is lucid but slow-paced. The language used is intriguing and easy to understand.

📝For this story, the title is fully appropriate. It's appealing, I like the cover. The author has used plain and straightforward words and allows the readers to communicate what the author tries to.
📝Two primary characters Neel and Rashi are involved in the Story. He hires a talented young artist, Rashi, a young charismatic charmer, Neel. He was so inspired by Rashi's resume and crafted her.
📝As time went by, they became closely connected, friends and more. But Neel had already been pledged to Tia. So, without your curiosity being spoiled. I'd advise you guys to grab this book and know the next thing that happened.
The speech was straightforward. The narration was in the third person, so it perfectly reflected the feelings of the main characters. He tried to change his tune and his feelings seemed not real. While Rashi was the opposite character, she seemed to be personified by goodness. Tia was the centre of the two.
📝This book is surely a marvellous reading. In comparison, the vocabulary and words seemed usual and a normal reading was worthwhile.

There were 3 main characters in the book, Rashi, Neel and Tia. There connection slowly starts to bloom as a beautiful real friendship but when Neel confesses about his difficult past and present how will Rashi react?Neel was the CEO of his own start up advertising company and Rashi was his latest employee. They both bonded very easily and became friends. They were good at what they did and the company flourished. But when feelings developed, things took a turn. Neel already was in a commited relationship with Tia and it was not possible for him to pursue his feelings.
Here is Neel a passionate young man who is the CEO of his own company. Already in a committed relationship with someone.
What happened next?

This book is about Neel, a young man who's the CEO of a renowned company and Rashi, a lady who comes walking down to her office one fine day to get a job. Their first meet does not happen to be much like what you see in movies but with time, they come close. Their professionalism takes the place of friendship and Neel beings to develop feelings for Rashi when he is already in a committed relationship with Tia.
This book, I wouldn't say, has a unique plot but it was an interesting read with the twists and unexpected turns that the author has injected in the flow of the story. It leaves you with many questions - Whether or not will Rashi and Neel come together out of professional boundaries and become one? Will Neel choose Rashi above Tia? Go ahead and read to know these answers. The language is lucid. I think the title of the book goes well with the story itself because it actually is about what Fate eventually conspires for them.

As he recruits a young designer, Rashi, who is quite talented and hard-working, his life took a major turn. While working together, they became good friends. And soon, he started to feel for her but things were not easy for Neel. He was in a committed relationship and because of his ongoing situation, he was not feeling good. His life was becoming more and more difficult. Will he express his feelings to Rashi? What will happen next?
Overall, I really liked the story. The characters are well-developed. The book is divided into thirty-three chapters (33). The plot is quite unique and interesting. Although, it took me little longer (more than 2 weeks) to complete the book, but it was worth it. The twist and turns makes it even more engagging. The language used is simple. The cover of the book is simple and beautiful. Highly recommended.
