Myrtle the Tiny Turtle is a cute little story about the adventures of a curious turtle and the making of a new friend. I liked the simple illustrations in vibrant colors. Each illustration captured the essence of each line. The text is appropriate for this age group. I appreciated the rhyming next as it is a nice way to increase a child’s vocabulary. The simple text and illustrations are also a good tool in helping young readers make predictions.
