What happens when an ice hockey player trades a puck for a bocce ball?

No one could have predicted Rebecca's love of the game of bocce -- a slow-paced sport played on grass or sand -- would result in a chance encounter with Grant, a professional ice hockey player. Grant's idea of a good time is skating fast inside a freezing ice rink. Rebecca relishes the sunny Southern California lifestyle. Is falling for Grant worth the risk to Rebecca's heart?

Rebecca is a young professional whose marketing career has become derailed due to her company's recent relocation. She is diligently seeking a new job and maintaining a positive attitude despite the seemingly unrealistic expectations for entry level positions. When at the last minute, Rebecca is asked to teach a bocce class, Rebecca does what she always does, unselfishly says yes. Little did she know, her willingness to help others would introduce her to Grant.

Rebecca and Grant form an instant bond. After their first date, Grant is unexpectedly traded across the continent. With both of their careers in transition, the last thing either of them is looking for is a long distance relationship. As their day-to-day lives diverge, can they redirect the attention back to the two of them and focus on what makes their connection special?

Redirection is a friends-to-situationship new adult contemporary romance novel with an underlying sports theme. Humor and hilarious situations replace intimate scenes and profanity. The content is clean and wholesome and appropriate for all ages, including young adults.

A Nice Story

I enjoyed this book very much. It was especially interesting to me because I am a hockey fan. However, I think that it will appeal to anyone interested in any sport. It pointed out how much the life of any serious sports figure or perhaps any celebrity has to work to succeed and give up a lot for their career. In addition it is, as advertised, a very sweet love story .
