I am referring specifically to this translation, by the way.
I did my Master's Thesis on this book, so I'm biased, but still: The best work the Western world has ever produced on the ontology of art. Slim, elegant, sometimes misguided, but brilliant and containing multitudes. Much easier to read than Ingarden's foundational work on the literary work of art, too.
