In 1985, a teenage girl uses magic to attract boys and become the most popular girl in school. For an unpopular witch in high school, first love has never been easier.
A senior in high school in 1985, Jamie is unpopular, but she has a crush on the most popular boy in school, Russel. Her nerd friends, the Homie Joanies, are unpopular, bullied by the popular girls, the Baby Dolls. Her dead mother left a spell book for her to receive on her birthday and Jamie finds she has magical powers. She lazily uses witchcraft to make Russel fall for her without thinking of the consequences and before long, all the boys in school fall under her control—not only does she get the boy of her dreams, but she becomes the most popular girl in school and associates with the Baby Dolls, forgetting her friends.
All seems totally awesome in Jamie’s world until one day her spell book is stolen and the Baby Dolls reveal her secret.
