SPLINTERS OF A BROKEN MIRROR
Splinters of a broken mirror is an anthology. Each one of the poems are beautifully written.
Let know Poems are not my cup of tea. This is my very first Poetry book apart from my school poems. When I started reading, I couldn't grab anything from that, actually I felt very disappointed. After sometime I was like ok let me give one more try and I reread the Poem "THE SPRING WITHIN YOU" . Seriously I love it, it gives me warmth. I think I am defacing you all so, I am going to stop here. Just go grab your copy and read it. Even I like all the poems, I bet you all love it.

Most importantly the had done a great effort and fantastic poems are not easy to make but the author made half century..it is difficult for making a single line with poetic device and ryhmes with the appropriate sentence..with all these it makes sense..This book is a collection of poems that are centered around music, wishes, memories, desire, friendship, nature, etc. The poems are simplistic yet complex with emotion. I liked how sometimes this book conveyed different feelings though same poem.All the poems are written in a beautiful manner but many failed to capture my attention. I guess poetry is personal so what I didn't like, you may. That is why I encourage you to give this book a chance... I love this book .. fantasy of works and ...I recommend this hardly...read to know more about everything in life...

There was a book by the same author in Hindi, titled 'Kal Basant Dekhe Hai Maine'.
This book made my heart melt down right from its title whereas the narration was the part which I read more than twice. To talk about this current book, it's difficult to explain how life is. No one can actually predict or state the climatic/weather conditions of the life like one forecasts the actual weather condition.
This book brings out the real time talk which one fails to talk about, in open. Life throws us into different phases of life and it's upon our ability and desire, whether we come out by swimming in that phase which tries to drown us or we just stay in that phase and drown/evaporate. Author has narrated a beautiful worth the read kind of book.
There were few of the poems which I've bookmarked and there were a few which I had to take a screenshot of. Those are the poems which will again help me keep moving.
In my view, you must choose this read to develop the feelings which you've been losing moment after moment. This book can work like a ray of light maybe.

The book potraits substitute perspectives of life and variety of sentiments which are being felt by a person.
The author has wonderfully put down the different sorts of sentiments through these pieces and each leaves an impact on the heart and mind of the peruser. This book is a collection of phenomenal sonnet. Sonnet of different of subject like friendship, motivation, torment, satisfaction, wonderment, happiness, void adoring each poem has particular taste which is the best thing of this book each word can be felt.
The expressions of the sonnet are basic and simple to peruse. Every one of them is lovely with sonnets composed on various subjects.

If you love poetry and want to accept it in a new form, grab this book, and you will never regret it. Poetry is opening your heart to narrate your feelings to the world in a meaningful and poetic style. I will congratulate the author for taking the risk of presenting this book of meaningful and non-rhythmic poems when very few understand this poetry style. I hope to read many more poetry books by poetess Neelam in the future. I am happy to rate this book 4.5/5 for its wonderful presentation.

The book is collection of 50 poems which represents human's varied emotions. Through each poem the poetess shares her perception on the topics. I really liked A Butterfly Woman, Darkness and The Hibiscus flower. These poems are beautifully written and also non-rhythmic which makes it different than usual I have had read till now. Some poems are so meaningful and emotional. This new form of poetry is totally worth a try.

The book Splinter of the mirror, I never expected it to be a book of beautifully written 50 poems. Honestly I am not a fan of poems as either it's very short or the words used are of a higher end.
But this book is definitely something different. Each poem conveys some aspects of human emotions. It definitely started and ended strong. There are few poems that have gone over but 80% of the book is just pure wow.
My favourite will be
1. The growing up of a granddaughter
2.Women.
3. The Hurt
4.Joy Within
5. Hey whats cooking -Every female will relate too
6.As frozen as ice
7.From Santa Claus
8.Desire - top favourite
But this book is definitely something different. Each poem conveys some aspects of human emotions. It definitely started and ended strong. There are few poems that have gone over but 80% of the book is just pure wow.

This book contais fifty poems. All poems are a good collection of words that express an emotion or idea, with a specific rhythm. All the words become guides to the feelings that lie between the lines. Each poem is a showcase of different emotions like pain, love, happiness, wonderment, joy, emptiness etc. Every poem passes some messages to us. Book begins with "The apeing within you" which empowers one's spirit and self-confidence. I like the most a poem "WOMEN". As it says to be though like stone.
The poet has done a very good effort. All the short messages are precious to our life. Highly recommended.

It is a collection of poems and each poem is a collection of words, feelings, life, situations and emotions.
Sometimes life hit you hard and leave you with bleeding heart. The author has compared our life with mirror and when we our hurt or problems hit us we see broken pieces of our life and just ponder over the things.
But we do not see that these difficulties are just for a mere time and life will glow once again and everything will be settled.
The words of the poem are simple and easy to read. Each of them is beautiful with poems written on different topics.

Nature hides innumerable secrets in its bosom and some of the secrets are revealed in the poetry collection SPLINTERS OF A BROKEN MIRROR by Neelam Saxena Chandra. She is not just a wonderful poet but a genuine person, a huge source of motivation and a great friend too. Her poems are replete with optimism, power and hope; a fine example of looking at ordinary things to seek knowledge, understanding and inspiration. It has also touched upon human emotions in a profound way that easily connects with the readers' mind. Poetry is an art of saying a lot with limited words or an ocean in a spoon and author of this book truly Justifies that. Each poem and each sentence carries a deep meaning within.
A meaning that can defines a situation or a life or a person's role in a life meaningfully. Such a beautiful poems are there like, the growing up of a granddaughter, woman.
I'm some poems author also use some natural elements of earth to relate the things, situation and stages of life. Such poems are like Hibiscus flower, moon.

Never have I ever read a mixture of such amazing poems. It wrenched my heart while I was reading the poems altogether I was on a rollercoaster ride of emotions .
The book has a collection of 50 poems which is unique in its own way and tries to present each and every aspects of life.
It was great learning from the author.
Overall I liked the book and the language used is lucid and easily understandable that one can easily grip it. The narration and writing style is quite good and the cover page is quite good and attractive.
The content is also very much appropriate to the title.

A book with a variety of themes, state, emotions and narration. I enjoyed reading the whole book but some are very pleasant, I heartly smiled at. some are slow enough to turn the page, some are beautiful yet no link to my world and some are so profound which relate to wonderful realm. The title which reflects weak sentiments of a being, is also a poem itself. I'd like to your attention that except that particular poem, title is not connected to rest part of the book. And I think, this is one of the crucial reasons behind my rating. Nevertheless, I recommend it to everyone as it is a captivating piece of heartfelt states.

I must admit the writer Neelam Saxena is marvelously talented,writing 50 poems is never easy but the way the writer has portrayed everything is exceptional. Every poem is a life in itself,it is so engulfing that you can never take your eyes off them. Sometimes you don't understand it but then you push it hard and everything in some or the other way relates to you.
The book is beautifully written and every reader can get influenced by the writer's talent.
I must admit the writer Neelam Saxena is marvelously talented,writing 50 poems is never easy but the way the writer has portrayed everything is exceptional.
