About the author

Kevin MacDonald is an American psychologist. He is a retired professor of psychology at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), best known for his controversial application of evolutionary psychology to characterize Jewish behavior as a "group evolutionary strategy." He is currently the editor of the Occidental Observer, which he says covers "white identity, white interests, and the culture of the West." He is the author of more than 100 scholarly papers and reviews, and he is the author of Social and Personality Development: An Evolutionary Synthesis (1988), A People That Shall Dwell Alone: Judaism as a Group Evolutionary Strategy (1994), Separation and Its Discontents: Toward an Evolutionary Theory of Anti-Semitism (1998), and The Culture of Critique: An Evolutionary Analysis of Jewish Involvement in Twentieth-Century Intellectual and Political Movements (1998). He has also edited three books, Sociobiological Perspectives on Human Development (1988), Parent-Child Play: Descriptions and Implications (1994), and Evolutionary Perspectives on Human Development (2004).

In October 2004, MacDonald accepted the Jack London Literary Prize from The Occidental Quarterly, using the award ceremony as an occasion to argue for the need for a "white ethnostate" to maintain high white birthrates.

In 2010, MacDonald accepted a position as one of the eight members of the board of directors of the American Freedom Party, which declares America a white Christian nation and advocates for limiting "non-white" immigration into the United States.

The thrust of this issue are that libertarianism and racialism are diametrically opposed. The thesis is wrong. As MacDonald himself states in the introduction, "A libertarian utopia would also unleash exploitation of the weak and disorganized by the strong and well-organized. [Which is of benefit to White people, having IQs in the top 30% of the world population, and which is even more beneficial to the intellectually elite Whites; the small numbers from other races who could compete would be absorbed into Whiteness: see Kaufmann 2018] Both Pert and Krejsa point out that a libertarian society would result in violations of normative moral intuitions. For example, parents could sell their children into slavery. Such behavior would indeed be evolutionarily maladaptive, because as slaves their reproductive opportunities would be at the whim of their master. [Which would be the dregs of civilization, not what we want in the gene pool unless we go full collectivist and say everything White is virtuous per se, absolutely, and simply in virtue of being White.] But such an option might appeal to some parents who value other things more than their children as the result of genetically or environmentally induced psychiatric impairment, manipulative media influence, or drug-induced stupor in a society lacking social controls on drugs.

"Moreover, in the libertarian Eden, regulations on marriage and sexual behavior would disappear so that wealthy men would be able to have dozens of wives and concubines while many men would not have access to marriage. Sexual competition among males would therefore skyrocket. [Thus ensuring the restoration of natural selection which we have caused to go into reverse - see Sarraf et al 'Modernity and Cultural Decline' - and amplifying its power in an obvious and straightforward way.]"

MacDonald is simply afraid the Jews would outcompete us. I see no reason why a tribal stranglehold on the Cathedral is more likely in Ancapistan than it is in our currently realized statist mixed economy. Northeast Asians already are outcompeting us and have the numbers to do so, but Anarchocapitalism would unleash the powers - of ethnic organization, of quick winnowing of maladaptive ideologies and behaviors glorified and subsidized by the state, of taxation and regulation, of genetic engineering - that our ideologically crippled and squeamish governments try to restrict. (The Chinese Communist Party has no such qualms against eugenics.)

There is one five-star article in here, which is Phoenix Rising: Yockey, [Frank] Salter, and the Fate of the West, which indicates that genetic interests don't get activists fired up, but Yockey's culturalist mysticism does? although Salter's book is one of eight that I've ever given a perfect rating and was the cause of my conversion to human biodiversity preservationism, and which opened my eyes in a way few non-Dawkins books ever have to the importance of evolution and our very, very important place in it.

There's another very good article, Austro-Libertarianism, Catholicism, and Judaism, which attempts to analyze Anarchocapitalism as a Jewish intellectual movement (like psychoanalysis or the Frankfurt school or neoconservatism), an analysis which fails but is very thought-provoking.
