Camping book #5. Straight forward slow cooker recipes. Some of the deserts look good. Lots of meat recipes. Some pictures but not all recipes have a picture. The callouts are "by the way" which seemed a bit odd.
I don't know if these are restaurant quality meals, but they are great daily meals for anyone cooking for a family or group. Lots of crowd pleasers, like orange chicken and chicken teriyaki. The strongest chapter for me was the soups and stew - there are lots of different varieties of chili. The meat chapters are also strong. Each recipe is about a page, very clearly written and most involve very little prep. There is a photo for each recipe too.
My only quibble is that I already had some of these. And there isn't any nutritional information.
I am loving this cookbook. I use my slow cooker all the time and was needing some more recipes. This one offers lots of yummy meals and great instructions. Not having more pictures is absolutely no big deal to me. Thank you for these awesome recipes!!
