All her life, Mary Imogen Suarez was led to believe that she should end up with Parker Adrian Palma. Na dapat, kay Parker lang siya. Na si Imogen ay para lang kay Parker. But the problem was, Parker never looked her way, at least, not the way she wanted him to.
For him, she's just the best friend-and a reminder of something he badly wanted to forget. For years, she lived with the knowledge that Parker would never like her back. Akala ni Imo, hindi na siya makakaahon sa naraaramdaman niya para kay Parker-until she met Saint Iverson Gomez de Lianño.
Saint was a breath of fresh air. He's attentive, and he made Imo feel loved and appreciated-something she never felt during all the years she loved Parker. But when things started to fall in their right places, Parker decided to finally look her way.
What would Imogen do? Would she brave the storm to be with Saint? Or would she tread the strings that connect her with Parker?

my favorite book in the trilogy. i finished this in two sittings—it was such a fun read! i love all the characters; everyone in this book brings something fun to the table!. the interactions were hilarious, particularly between preston and saint; their dynamic had me laughing out loud! i also love the way preston interacts with mary—they're just so sweet. i wish i had that kind of relationship with my brothers.
saint iverson — my most favorite male character in beeyotch's stories. he's 6'3", plays basketball, is a date-to-marry kind of guy, has a good relationship with his family, and has this clingy, soft-spoken personality with golden retriever energy. i just love him so much! napakagaling niya lumandi as in 😭
mary imogen — she's such a sweetheart! she's adorable, and i had so much fun reading this from her point of view. i love how she's so different from her mom (imogen from just the benefits). i really appreciate how she respects her family and carries a sense of responsibility. it’s refreshing to see a character who values her loved ones and balances her own desires with her family obligations.
this book gave me butterflies. the sweet moments and the playful teasing made my heart flutter. a must-read if you're looking for a cute, quick read!
I thought Parker was the main lead here! I didn't like how Imo (mom) forced them to be together tho. Siguro kung 'di nila prinessure sila, I'm sure hindi magiging ganun si Parker kay Mary sa una. Parker loved her too late.
